I went for the first time since this pub was purchased, remodeled, and renamed the Brickhouse. I had the turkey chili, which was bland and had a covered top of cheese that one expects on a French Onion soup. This chili was terrible! There was a shift change and I learned that Chuck, the daytime bartender, was cheating me out of happy hour pricing. When I brought it to the night bartenders attention, she kindly offered me another beer. I didnt want one. She asked if I wanted to speak with the owner, which I did. Phil (I think I remember his name correctly), did not apologize for Chuck being dishonest but instead tried to brush it off. I thought it was a mistake at first. Phil was probably in on it all, trying to get cash without having to report sales (and pay taxes.) He was not accepting my comments at all. I was getting angry and left. I wondered how many new customers they treat this way. Doesnt Phil want new business that will return and tell others about the place? I just want honest service, regardless of price. The only nice thing is the change of the bar area, its more open. The American Pub owner was honest, even if the bar area was different. The food was better too. Marty should have just remodeled and kept that place honest. What a bummer! Dont waste your time or money going to the Brickhouse Pub.

Met with Chuck, Rica and "Mer". My sweet funny bartender had a killer BM and a shandy she suggested after letting me taste test. My waitress Rica was so fun and happy and very professional. Fish tacos were my pic of many selections. They were excellent and I will be coming often. As for Karen woods comments come here see for yourself if I could have givin 10 stars I would have!!!! My first time not my last and a store too. Such a hidden Gem as Meredith would say!!!!

Food and crowd is great. Service and staff EVEN BETTER! Friday and Saturday wonderful live rock bands.Live music without the riff raff! Absolutely great time every time! IF live music is your thing with good drinks and even better food? This is the SPOT!
