Not very good at all. The food seemed stale, the atmosphere is dead, and the staff dont seem like they want to be there. Ive eaten there a couple of times and have hoped that it would improve, but unfortunately it hasnt. And to those who say that its a good thing that the place is "never crowded", isnt that a bad sign? Although the diner is within walking distance of my home, I wont be going back.

This diner is good value for money, but has seen its better days. The menus and tables are a bit worn out, but my gyro was excellent. The kids were happy with their pancakes. Given this is Jersey, my expectations for diners are quite high and this place is OK. Nothing epic, but good value.

Peaceful setting, great prompt service. friendly sever that cares about your meal not just for a great tip, great burger at a diner the way it suppose to be here in nj, Great diner to visit on the way to the waterfront. If you are hungry and in the area I will recommend this location..

I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here (there are somewhat better diners within a 15 minute drive), but if youre in the area and hungry for diner food, it should fill you up without leaving a bad taste in your mouth. The service is pretty adequate as well.

Nicest people own the place, staffs pretty much long-time and remember you when you walk in. Food is yummy. Occasionally a server is not up to snuff or food slightly off, but overall a great value for the meal.

Diners in general are not usually the best food but I have to say, if you are looking for a diner with decent quality food, Livingston Diner is a quality choice. I especially like their deserts.

Food was ok, but waitress dropped the containers that hold food to go, she picked it up and put it back with the ones that did not fall. Nasty.....germs. and someone will get those containers.

How do you not have chicken during the day ? Half of their Menu includes chicken but its not available till dinner time. Regardless the NY steak with mashed was decent for a cheap lunch for two.
