NAH..TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING EXPENSIVE FOOD! I went there on the New Years Eve after reading its wonderful reviews on Yelp. DECOR: The decor is quite attractive and since it was the 31st Dec night, the decor was accentuated with balloons and 2013 inflatables. Though this restaurant is technically in the food court of the Pier Shops (Mall), the appearance is unlike any regular food court restaurant. The restaurant is a bit cramped and seatings are very close to each other! It feels closer when the restaurant is full. FOOD: Ahh, I was totally disappointed! To being with, I ordered a Sangria (drink), Korean Pork Taco and the French Onion Soup Dumplings. The dishes sounded interesting and ofcourse the French Onion Soup had great reviews on Yelp. Of, these three items, the Korean Pork Taco was better! The so-called innovative French Onion Soup tastes terrible and its just dumplings that tastes like a poor version of the soup. For entree, we ordered the Chicken Waffles. The quantity was good (4 piece of chicken and 4 waffles) but the taste was terrible. In fact the dish was absolutely tasteless. SERVICE: Friendly service! The waitress introduced herself and described the top dishes. The service was quick too, say within 15-20 minutes from the time ordered. The waitress also kept enquiring about the dishes and her service intermittently. PRICE: Expensive but not worth the food! Our total was $70 without tips.

My husband and I went in for dinner this past Sunday. Although the prices looked a little high we decided to give it a try anyway and "treat ourselves to a decent dinner". Were we wrong. We ordered the flat bread special 2 drinks and the Schezuan Fries and the roasted red pepper dip. The drinks were good. The flat bread was OK, but once the "fries" came I was shocked heaped on a plate was a pile of hard small sticks of potatoes with chinese mustard dumped on top. You couldnt eat them with a fork, or with your fingers. We asked the waitress if this was normal. She said i dont know". I told her I should have ordered the salad, I was dissapointed in this "main" course. She did nothing but clear our plates and didnt even offer to wrap up the doof we didnt eat. I would never go back and would suggest no one else bother wasting their time or money on this facade of an upper scale eating spot.

This place was amazing! I went here with a group of friends for my bachelorette party and it was just perfect. I suspect my friend must have mentioned the occaision, or else the staff is very observant, because within a minute of being seated we were welcomed with a complimentary round of champagne. Classy touch. The drinks were delicious, and the food even better. We had the french onion soup dumplings, thai chicken lettuce wraps, bbq chicken quesadilla, bbq salmon, spinach ravioli, broccoli, asparagus, shoestring fries, and calamari. All were great. The winners though were probably the french onion soup dumplings, calamari, and salmon. The decor is a 60s mod that makes you feel like you are in a submarine. A very nicely decorated submarine, perhaps owned by an old Bond villain. Not your usual, but very well done. Highly recomend this place.

Brunch on A.C, I went while yelp was having their third Winter Break and the restaurant week was going on as well. My friend made a reservation for big party of seven people, we were seated as soon we arrived. Our Server was fantastic, super friendly and very efficient, even though he did not know was going on that weekend, this was not his fault(I give a big boo to the manager not telling his staff, what was going on). He had too ask his manager what was the deal. I did not order from the restaurant week menu, because I did fell on love when i heard about of chicken and waffles a disk that had buttermilk, fried chicken, white cheddar waffles and applewood smoked bacon gravy. It was exceptionally delicious. The white cheddar in the waffles really elevated the overall taste experience. I have to have this again soon.

8/2015 Spent 4 nights in A.C. and this place was the best we ate at. I cant say enough about this place. I wish we ate here first cause I would have ate here at least once a day during our visit. The prices were very reasonable, the food was excellent, the place was immaculate and the staff very friendly. Ill definitely recommend this place to anyone I know that travels to A.C. 8/2016. Came back and ate there 4 times. Every meal was amazing. Couldnt pick a favorite. Cuban sandwich, seared sesame tuna, Tuscan chicken and the special pulled pork with bacon sandwich were all excellent. I wish this place was near were I live. I would eat there all the time. Im convinced you cant get a bad meal here.

Went here with my girlfriend for dinner and had a great time. I was initially disappointed that we couldnt actually sit inside the restaurant, but the fireplace seating area was just as romantic. The drinks were fantastic. Whoever thought of putting Tang into an alcoholic drink is a genius. Out entrees were delicious as well. The uniforms that the waiters and waitresses wore were a little weird and it was depressing paying $8 for five pieces of asparagus as a side dish. Other than that I would highly recommend this restaurant and give credit for the Pier Shops for making the third level high end dining.

This was my first visit to The Continental. I was looking for a place to go for Sunday brunch. Their prices were actually a lot less than other places I checked, so I thought I would try it. I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was great, the place is really clean and cool looking inside. Sort of a retro space agey vibe. And the food was fantastic! Best breakfast I had on my whole vacation. Im very impressed and I will be back. Also ate at Phillips as they used to be good, but was very disappointed with them. The Continental will be my new place to go to now I loved it.

I absolutely love this place! Ive dined twice at this establishment and each time has been a wonderful experience. The wait staff is friendly and very professional. The food and the drinks are amazing. They have a decent vegetarian selection; one of the more varied selections than any other restaurant on and surrounding the boardwalk. The prices were fair as well. Overall, I love everything about this place andI will definitely dine here again.

My boyfriend and I ate here when we visited AC one night and it was one of the best dinners we have ever had. The decor and atmosphere were both amazing on top of the food. We started with the calamari and lettuce wraps then I ordered the spinach ravioli and he got the filet. We then got the smores dessert. The food was so fresh and delicious. The service was amazing as well. We will for sure be coming back!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling around the mall at the pier. The view from the 3rd floor has a beautiful ocean and boardwalk view. The Continental reminded me of Miami beach and the art deco style was refreshing. I sampled the Lobster macaroni and cheese with orzo, roasted Brussels sprouts and falafel. All delicious and nicely presented. I also had a tasty blondie desert. This really hit the spot.
