Not worth rating! The food isnt bad, but the service is terrible- and forget about substitutions! I wanted to order sweet-potato fries instead of regular fries (dietary reasons) and they wouldnt let me sub, not even for an additional fee! I had to pay $5 for an appetizer size portion of fries! I was with a group of friends (I think 8 of us), all in our mid to late 20s... I didnt receive a place setting, and we only saw the waitress when she ordered our food and dropped off the check! We had to get our own ketchup! I wasnt finished with my Gyro before I ran out of soda, and thank God I had water on the table- forget about a refill!!! Then when we tried to pay, the owner wouldnt allow us to divide the check to put on our debit cards, as we didnt think to bring cash, since they do accept credit cards (incidentally with a $10 minimum). A friend offered to put the entire bill on her card, but this was just absurd! We used to go fairly regularly, but stopped going because of the service- we wont be going again.

We went to Bridgeway. Guess who is cooking them and waiting water on your tables. Workers that dont speak a drop of English. I ask one of them to have the waitress to get our check. Had no clue what I was saying in English. I was fuming. I refuse to go there anymore. I dont support business that hire illegals. Good news today; they are not the only ones in the food industry to hire them. It is businesses like The Bridgeway diner that should be fined to the hilt. I pay true American citizens. Ill cook at home. It gets done the way I like it, cheaper and cooked by an American. Whats next? Buying their food at Wal-Mart perhaps? Shame on them.

Do not eat in or take your family, It is dirty the manager or what ever she is sitting on her butt watching that no one takes too much salad , has greasy hair and was standing by salad bar scratching her filthy hair stale bread on salad bar. the soup tasted like the smell of pool liner, and they charge 5 dollars for a piece of added cheese to a sandwich . on a sandwich, I told the owner his food was not good today I was trying to help so when he served seafood soup no one would get sick. He wants to serve junk and get big money for it ,Rude to customers

Breakfast is okay, lunch not so much, coffee...meh. Coffee in a diner, any diner, should be impeccable. They should work on that first. Next they should work on their burgers. Even a well done burger should be juicy, and they should dress up the plate and make it look more appetizing and create the illusion that you are getting a ton of food. And it should be a delicious diner cheeseburger. People should be floored by how good Bridge ways burgers are. They should work on this.

Go there a lot on the way home from work. The food is normal Jersey Diner food. The salad bar is fresh and worth going for. The service is always friendly and have gotten to know us and remmber what we like when we go back. Most meals include both the soup and salad bar and the seafood bisk is really good! We get there early around 4:30 or so and they always have an eary bird that is a good value

My husband and I stumbled across this place by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. They actually had Greek food at the salad bar: Stuffed grape leaves, hummus and the best baba gnoush I ever had -- even better than more upscale Greek places -- the eggplant in it was so nice and chunky! The service was great. Our waiter couldnt do enough for us. I highly recommend it.

Great food! Went there today for the first time. Was seated promptly. Although they had a full house, my order came out quickly. Lentil soup was excellent; really homemade and not salty! Chicken wrap was perfect. Service was good, waitress brought extra napkins without asking for them. Overall very good experience for a diner. Check it out if youre in the area. :)

Ive been coming to this diner for 5 years now, every Sunday. Service here is always great, the servers are extremely attentive to your needs and the food is always good. I love their soups! Cream of turkey, pea soup, lentil, tomato basil, chicken soup. All Delicious. Stop by, you will not be disappointed.

Owners are miserable money hungry greeks. Went there twice and both times owner was cursing at his workers with his finger in their face. Workers all great. Management is a joke. Unfriendly, uncooperative, and qUite frankly dont know how to run a bussiness. Theyll be out of bussiness in no time.

This is my first comment on any restaurant. Walking in there was no greeting nor hospitality. The food is just average certainly better in the area. Most importantly the manager was heard voiceing nastily critical remarks to his staff just so unfriendly for the nothing better then average

Typical NJ diner... getting in and out of the parking lot can be a little tough sometimes as its a quick right off of Rt. 9.... Never had a bad experience and the food is pretty good... They make good breakfast items but Ive had several lunch items and was just as satisfied...

Rude! I went there, and stood around for 5 min waiting to be seated. Tried to ask a waitress if I could sit anywhere, and was ignored. Hostess rang up to customers, and then also ignored me, as she was more interested in her drink, and no the place was NOT busy!

Have been to this diner a few times. I love the staff here. Very friendly and offer good service. The food is your average diner fair. Noting about the food screams outstanding. Im a big hamburger fan but the burgers here are just average.

The service was good, very nice people, very good service The food was horrible. I do not know if it was just that night but both me and my boyfriend got completely different things but both threw up within a half an hour after leaving.

Was in a somewhat hurry. Food came fast. Ordered two Greek salads. A good portion of feta cheese. Worst part I found a bug in my food. It halted me eating it. I was on a time limit. Didnt want to cause a scene. I just paid and left.

I was at the bridge way diner yesterday. The food was very good and the service was just as good. I had the waffle napoleons and it looked like a work of art. I highly recommend it. Ask for Catherine. She was a great server

Great food, at good prices, especially if youre ordering from the daily specials which include soup, salad bar and a dessert. Staff is always so sweet. If you cant eat the soup or dessert you can bring it home for later.

We just returned from an awesome Sunday breakfast at Bridgeway. The good was fresh, hot, and fast just as you would expect from a diner. The waitress was attentive without being pest. Everything was perfect.

Terrible service. Waitress was terrible. Had all the time in the world to bs with co-workers and no time to actually serve. The food was tasted like it came from the trash. Never again will come here again.
