Vidalia was a very cozy dining experience. Set in what looks to be a converted house, with alfresco dining in what was once a driveway. But do not let this fool you. The Italian cuisine is some of the best I have ever had. When I dine I usually opt for the specials to try something not always available and was not dissapointed here. We started with stuffed mushrooms filled with sausage and topped with cheese. My wife went with the cannelloni and chose the fettuccine bolognese. Both were excellent. Desserts were traditional and delicious, cannoli and tiramisu respectively. The espresso machine was being serviced while we were there so Im sure I missed out on some wonderful after dinner coffee there. Its BYOB, so bring what you like. Do not miss this hidden gem.

Just ate at Vidalia for the first time this past Sat. night. We called for a reservation that day and the owner was very accommodating to get us in at the time we needed, we had to be out at certain time to attend a concert. The atmosphere was perfect, cozy, intimate and welcoming. The staff was very pleasant and attentive enough without being bothersome. The salad was excellent and our meals were wonderful. I can honestly say it was one of the best eggplant parmigiana I have ever eaten. The veal pulcinella was outstanding as well. Chef Sals wife was very nice and we will definitely return. Written my two Italians who are both long time Italian cooks and world travelers.

Ive been here on 3 different occasions and they never disappoint. The service is always phenomenal, and the food is so fresh and delicious. They always have plenty of specials to choose from, but their regular menu is delicious as well. We went tonight with a group of 6 for my boyfriends birthday. Not only did they allow me to bring a fresh baked dessert, but they dimmed the lights in the entire restaurant to sing happy birthday to him! Reasonable pricing for amazing food! Vidalia is a must! Try the stuffed mushrooms and the rollentino, two of my favs. Thanks for another great experience!!! Well be back!

Just got back from a birthday dinner and will not go back. What I ordered was not available to be prepared and the substitute was not something I would eat. My partner ate alone on my birthday. When the waitress put the order in she should have been told it was not available and I could have chosen something else. We had to ask to be compensated for the error. I did not eat the food prepared. So disappointing...anyone can take your money but they should handle issues appropriately. The hostess only offered a free dessert and it wasnt until we insisted we did not pay for the meal that we didnt order.

Dined at Vidalia Sunday evening and had a wonderful experience in every way. The ambiance was perfect, we sat on the patio by the fountain. It was a little cool so a heater lamp was provided to keep us cozy. We ordered as assortment of appetizers followed by entress. Some dishes were that evenings, specials others were off the menu. Everything was delicious! We then finished our meal with exquisite desserts & coffee. Service was attentive and efficient. We lingered but never felt rushed. You wont be disappointed. We hope to return soon!

My husband and I got the beet salad as an appetizer. The presentation was beautiful and it was an excellent start to an exceptional meal. I ordered the pintado special which was cooked perfectly. My husbands filet mignon was delicious and cooked correctly to temperature. The whole experience from the food to the atmosphere was phenomenal. It is a hidden gem in Lawrenceville and I recommend it to everyone.

My daughters bridal shower was on the outdoor patio at Vidalia. It could not have been better! The Vidalia staff helped us set up, and when they realized the theme was Harry Potter, played related music! We found everyone there to be great to work with, and felt they were as invested in the shower as we were. Needless to say, the food was fabulous! Vidalia is a favorite of ours, and will continue to be!

Tried Vidalias last night after a friend referred it. Food was delicious and the restaurant had that nice, small family owned feel to it. Only complaint was toward the end of our meal I looked at my glass (ordered a coke) and realized it was covered in lipstick stains. Dont get me wrong, the glass was clean but this mistake shouldnt have left the kitchen. Regardless, I will give Vidalias another try.

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time yesterday. The food was awesome. We had a stuffed vidalia onion appetizer, he got a seafood pasta dish and I got a stuffed sole dish. Everything was amazing. For dessert we had a cannolli and some sort of fruit sorbee that was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back here for sure. Slightly pricey, but you get great food for the price.

Friendly and attentive service, cozy atmosphere, and one of the best meals Ive had in a restaurant in a very long time. A real treat. We had the Vidalia loaf, the veal and scallops (one of the specials) and the chicken milanese (another special). I plan to go back again and again until Ive sampled everything on the menu. And then Ill be back again to revisit my favorites.

I went with a group of four diners for dinner. The ambience was awesome. There was a good energy in the dining room. The service was impeccable. The cuisine hit the mark. Octopus, bass, shrimp, scallops, risotto and a few other dishes were enthusiastically enjoyed by our party. The chef/ owner Sal even came out and greeted us. We recommend Vidalia!!

Hosted a private party at Vidalia and everything was perfect. The appetizers, lunch, and dessert were delicious; the byob was great; and the service was impeccable. Sal worked with us on choosing the menu and staging the restaurant for the party. Overall it was a fantastic experience!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The food and service was amazing. We had between 30-35 people and booked the inside section. There was enough room. This is also a great place to take someone special on a date. Id say keep the kids at home.

A quaint Italian place. Very small, but cozy and romantic. If you go in the spring/summer, they have outdoor seating with lighting and music. Very good place for a date night. Excellent food. A little pricy, but worth it. Would highly recommend!

Great local pizza shop that has been a favorite for both the kids and us for years. The guys at the counter are really friendly and helpful. Probably the best Brooklyn style pizza in the area!
