I have been there before and I find the food to be very good but my recent story will never have me visiting this place again. I made a reservation for my son, his wife, my wife ,and my mother for Mothers Day. I spoke to I guess would be Sal two to three weeks prior to the event and I was told that I had the reservation. I showed up that day and was not on the books. Mistakes happen and I was trying to work with the waiter I was talking to. Then Sal, the owner, came out, screaming at me, calling me a liar and got upset when I said that I called and spoke with a gentleman with an Italian accent(I guess him). He yelled at me for saying he was a liar and when I told him that mistakes happen but his behavior is unacceptable in this instance. He then kicked me out saying I just lost the opportunity to dine there. I feel I lost nothing. In all seriousness, we live in a world that looks down upon bullies. I have seen damage bullies can do to adults and children alike. This man is a bully. I have heard stories of what he has done to others and he should be ashamed of himself for his totalitarian behavior. I am sure his workers fear him and he likes it that way. I believe that we all make mistakes but it is what we do after the mistake is made that we are judged as the person we are. Sal came out of the kitchen with the purpose to embarrass and humiliate me in front of my family and anyone else that would listen. When I spoke up for myself and Sal realized he would not get the pleasure of seeing me snivel, I was kicked out. In a world where bullies are looked down upon I ask you to take my review and use it wisely, today I was the person Sal bullied, tomorrow it could be you.

Food Excellent...would have loved to return to this restaurant - spent close to $400 on my bill and yet the owner (wife) was quite rude...table for six...my daughter and her husband were 10 minutes late and we were at the table having alcoholic beverages when she approached our table to tell us we had to be out in two hours as the table was reserved in two hours....could not believe she said that to a paying customer, first time there...the waiters were embarrassed...certainly not a good business woman...but her husband the chef greated my nephew very nicely as soon as we were seated...my nephew has been there many times before....I really want to go back there but that really left a very bad taste in my mouth and it wasnt from the food.

NEVER AGAIN!! I made reservations for 4 at 8:00 pm on a Saturday night. I watched at least 5 or 6 groups come in after us and get seated. They all knew Sal, the owner. My dinner associate ordered the stuffed chicken special which was stuffed with prosciutto. We had to wait one hour for our dinner entres. After having several bites he realized he was eating raw chicken. Not undercooked, I mean raw like it came out of the package. When Sal was confronted, he told my friend to sue him for half the restaurant and that he would pay the hospital bills if he got sick. His attitude stunk. I also know a few realtors who refuse to go to this restaurant because of similiar stories. STAY AWAY!!

We have been going to this restaurant for 18 years. The best food anywhere. The restaurant is immaculate, the service is outstanding and the owners Sal and Donna could not be any nicer. Simply the best! When we walk in Alex and Brandy take good care of us at the bar while Aldo and Pasquale along with others serve us like we were royalty. Even Enrique the food runner stops at our table every time to shake hands and talk with us. Taormina is our favorite restaurant and we eat there as often as possible. I am Italian and I know good Italian food and you will get it at Taormina. Take my word for it!

This is a really nice place for quality Italian Food. In my opinion it is not only the best in the Union County but I think it is close to being the best in the entire state of NJ. The stuffed calamari, rack of lamb and penne norma are my favorites. I come here once a week and am a regular. The food and atmosphere are top notch. Restauarants in the area tried to keep up but have not been successful and most fell by the waist side. You want authentic Italian, try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Simply put I like it... The food is great, I usually sit at the bar so service is great along with the bartenders. Yes it is annoying that you cant just put the apps in and go slow, but I get it, place is usually busy so they want to keep things moving. Somtimes tbeu say Sal the owner can be a bit much but Im there to eat and mind my business anyway.so Ive never had an issue with him. If youre lucky enough to go there on a Thursday or Sunday they make pizza which is crazy good!!! Enjoy!

My first time here and the food was excellent. Service was very good though it seems that they prefer reservations, which we didnt have. I had beef short ribs and the portion size was great along with preparation.

Great meals were had by all 3 of us for lunch on a Wednesday. Our guest was in the mood for a special chicken dish not on the menu and the chef owner Sal, was more than happy to prepare it for us.

Owner is a arrogant jerk! I found a roach in my dinner and was charged full price fir my dinner! I also know he cheats on his wife with the waitresses ! Beware
