The pizza, if you eat it there is not bad and generally above average at least in terms of Fair Lawn quality pizza. Unfortunately everything else is barely edible. I recently moved to Fair Lawn and have been trying out many of the local restaurants. Since this place is near me I have ordered from them several times and each time seems to be worse than the last. To start, the pizza, when ordered for delivery, never quite tastes the same as the pizza from the shop. A slight decrease in quality is expected but this is rather dramatic. The pizza always arrives lukewarm (and considering they are walking distance from me it should be piping hot). The dough never seems cooked enough and the sauce tastes more tangy for some reason. As far as other food is concerned, I have yet to find anything edible. The lasagna is vile. I mean frozen dinner lasagna tastes like gourmet food compared to what you get here and that is not an exaggeration. The noodles are so soggy they shred and stick. The sauce tastes like a cheap can of tomato sauce with no seasonings that wasnt even cooked and the meat and cheese... well... disgusting would have to suffice. The garlic bread tastes like stale supermarket bread that was put in the microwave with some margarine and a few pieces of minced garlic. The Crisco tasting mixture (it doesnt taste buttery or like olive oil) isnt evenly applied to the bread and its so rubbery that you chew and chew and feel like your teeth are going to fall out. There is no crispness to it at all. The supermarket garlic bread in the silver bags that you put in the oven are fantastic compared to what they try and pass off as garlic bread. The sandwiches are nothing special. The meats arent particularly fresh tasting although they didnt appear to be stale. The bread is sub par and soggy when it arrives. The bread certainly wasnt toasted and they actually charge more for cheese on a sub. Charging more for extra cheese is understandable but charging more for cheese just seems like padding the bill. I have ordered a couple of other pasta dishes as well, none of them being particularly good. Noodles are typically over or undercooked the sauces are bland, overly acidic and of low quality. Last but not least, I made the mistake of ordering a couple of cannolis. Hard to destroy a cannoli? No, I suppose it really isnt, at least for them. It actually arrived in what appeared to be a pool of milky water. The cannolis were clearly frozen and just put in containers without being defrosted. This caused them to be half frozen and soggy upon arrival. I would take a picture and post it if I could because it was just that vile. I wasnt expecting gourmet food but if I am going to pay the prices they are asking I expect at least something of reasonable quality. If I wanted cheap trash I would get a frozen dinner and in this case a frozen dinner surpasses anything I could get at this place. Never again am I ordering from here. I might get a slice of Pizza if I am near shoprite and in the mood (hence the 2 star rating) but nothing else.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! First off, I am not the type to write reviews. But due to the HORRIBLE treatment I received tonight, I felt the NEED to inform everyone so that no one else goes through what I faced tonight. I went in asked for a couple slices of pizza, they did not have pizza at hand (it was close to closing time, fine not a problem we bought what they had) Went to pay and they dont accept cards for orders below $10 (ok not problem) UNTIL the person who was tending the register in snarky attitude says "Do you have cash? We dont take cards under $10", this would not have been a problem unless this person was not being rude! For a pizza place you would think that you would be nice to customers as word of mouth is important for business. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. THIS GUY TECHNICALLY THREW THE BOX OF PIZZA AT ME! Save yourself the trouble and do not go here. There are many other pizzerias in Fair Lawn with far TONS of better customer service and pleasant people who know that by treating someone right you will get them to come back. I dont know about you but I work hard for my money and I paid for the pizza it wasnt given to me as a gift or price IT WAS NOT FREE no one deserves to be treated the way I was treated tonight. THINK ABOUT IT!

Great Place, great food!! I live on the other side of town and make it a point to go when I am home from school. Bella vita is has a warm, family oriented feeling once you walk in, and the food is amazing as well. But its not all about the food. The staff that works there is extremely friendly and I tend to find myself able to speak to them as if I have known them for years. If your ever in town I personally advise you to stop buy and order at least a slice.

My family and I love their pizza! Along with their pasta, calzones, salads etc. All delish! Never had a problem with food, nor customer service. Defintly would recommend Bella Pizza!
