Highly recommend! The service was fabulous, super attentive and very helpful with unfamiliar items on the menu. The food presentations are clean and creative. Just lovely. 3 of us shared some apps: smoked garbanzo bhel and chicken 65. They also threw in a cauliflower amuse bouche that was great! I would order it as an entree. Fried cauliflower smothered in a red sauce, not too spicy, just enough. For dinner we had garlic naan with various chutneys for dipping and boondi raita (yogurt) that was great to quell any heat in the dishes. We ordered the butter chicken, tariwallah kukad (chicken) and dhaba goat masala. We all tasted each others. All different, all delicious served with yummy basmati rice. Nothing was too spicy (they will ask your preference). I never had dessert at an Indian restaurant before, but I will not make that mistake again. So good! We ordered the angoori jamun and nescafe rasmalai. Mmmmm!!! Im so happy to have such a great place walking distance from my home! P.s. BYO. They have a menu of delicious virgin drinks. Loved the lemon ginger fizz.

We just happened to walk into Aarzu as we love Indian food and discovered it was their opening night. Usually when a restaurant first opens, there are problems with service or the food until the kinks are worked out-- NOT Aarzu. What a revelation! The place was upscale, clean and gorgeous. The staff was attentive and lovely. And the food-- to die for! My only regret is that my spouse is on a diet and we cant go back there EVERY NIGHT! We tried about 7 different items off of the menu. Each and every one was fragrantly spiced, textured, fresh, and utterly delicious. This is truly "modern" indian cuisine... Homemade delicious flavors taken up a few notches-- I just ate my leftovers (9am- couldnt wait) and got to enjoy the food again! I couldnt recommend this restaurant more highly!

Last minute craving for Indian food brought me to this lovely spot. Food was delicious and presented well. Decor was warm and seating was comfortable (ask for one of the booths!) Our server was helpful in our selection of food options. I would recommend that the manner in which the food is prepared be listed on the menu as well and not just the ingredients. We had to ask what each of the appetizers was and how it was prepared. One other call out was that some of the appetizer options were the same price as the entrees. Pricing seemed a bit lop sided. Staff was attentive and when he saw a dish I ordered but did not touch (was not what I expected - which circles back to the menu issue) was taken off my bill. Excellent experience. Will go back.

This place is amazing! The food here is astounding! The waiters are very patient and they are helpful in helping you choose the best foods there is. The presentation of the foods are astonishing! These people are very creative in their presentation, and they have great decors! If you are a Indian food lover, I would recommend you try out this place, because there is great quality Indian food! If you have not tried Indian food, then you might want to come here and try something new, and you will come there a second time because the food is great!

Delicious take on Indian cuisine. We started off with aloo mutter gujiya, which is their version of samosa. It was delicious and not overly fried or heavy. For an entree I enjoyed a cool refreshing sangria with some chicken duhiya kebab. The chicken was soft, juicy, with sweet profile of cardamom and cashews. My partner had an anjeer kofta, a delicious sweet cheese ball cooked in cardamom, cashew and saffron creme. Wonderful meal. We look forward to enjoying a dessert platter next time around.

This restaurant is a gem! Great ambiance with a trendy vibe & creative menu. The service was attentive and friendly. The spicy cheese naan was awesome, the lamb chops delicious, and the chicken cooked in a cashew sauce was very flavorful! Love the plating of food especially the bicycle basket. The pudding dessert presented on dry ice was very impressive & the orange dessert is a must try! Looking forward to going back

This place is simply AMAZING. A must try! Im a huge foodie and have been hearing about Aarzu for about a couple months now. I had big expectations and it did not disappoint in any way. We were a party of 5 and the service on par to some of the finest restaurants in the city. The food is what blew me away. It has indian flavors with a fusion modern twist. This place is a gem in downtown Freehold.

Had a reservation at 8pm on Sat. nite. Walked in to see 15 people waiting. Staff asked "do you have a reservation" and wrote my husbands name down. We noticed the place was full but no one had any food. Walked out at 8:10pm. We really wanted this Indian place to do well but no different from Khyber Grill who cant get their reservations/service sorted out either. We wont even be trying this place
