As an Indian food enthusiast, I was worried that a Thai-and-Indian restaurant in a locale of arguably homogenous tastes would be lackluster. I was delightfully wrong. The Citrus ambiance is definitely cozy and comfortable (family-friendly), yet still fitting for a business lunch or even a romantic meal. My wife and I were seated at a small table along the windows, and while I was admittedly close to my back-side neighbor, I did not feel distracted from my meal or conversation. The service is amazing in this restaurant. The staff are all extremely friendly and have a great sense of humor - my wife and I felt very comfortable interacting with our waiter. From offering high-quality bottled water (we opted for tap) to having an immense selection of Thai and Indian food on the menu, we were both pleasantly satisfied when we ordered. We split massaman curry and sog paneer (highly recommend!), and the portion for each dish was enough to split between the two of us, with ample and renewable servings of fresh chili/garlic naan to dip in our dishes. The prices are very affordable (~$10-15 per entree, with exceptions); even the most hungry appetite will very likely be satiated with a single entree. I strongly suggest a couple order different entrees to split, rather than getting multiple servings of the same dish. Citrus will absolutely be our go-to for an overwhelmingly delicious and satisfying experience with Thai and Indian cuisine.

Was here almost one week ago, and this place is a huge improvement from the past restaurant. They have added thai mini section to the menu which is the biggest change. I tasted a few dishes from the indian section and it is a delight, great taste and superior quality. The thai on the other hand is a bit confusing. Ive been there a total of 4 times and 2 out of the 4 the thai was sub- par. The dishes lack a thailand taste, especially the pad see ew, the dish is completely incorrect. The pad thai is great with wonderful flavor also the basil chicken. The tom ka gai can use a bit more flavor. Good attempt but the thai needs work. Overall the restaurant is a 3 out of 5, more then enough for me to return. One last thought, if you plan on going to this place bring a flashlight the lighting is way to low, trying to achieve a "city" look.

Unless youre in Little India in Queens, sadly NY is generally disappointing in the area of Thai and Indian cooking. I happen to love both. Have had THE very best in the DC area restaurants and home cooked as well, so Im very picky. Citrus Indian dishes - and their service - is their strength. The flavors are very deep and filled with aromatic spices. They do Indian very well. The Thai dishes, OTOH, are not terribly authentic. Theyre a bit blahhed down. And when youve had the real deal, well...blah just wont do. I would love it if theyd freshen the Thai selections and introduce some very traditional, kickin and vibrant Thai dishes like Drunken noodles - my personal fav. And Ill keep going back with fingers crossed. Heres hoping.

The food is incredible, every dish served I give a 10 plus and would tell a friend or family member to go and enjoy. The service is friendly but when ordering from the bar it took some time to get our drinks. The décor is simple, not bad looking but the one thing I found weird is Citrus has tablecloths with a sheet of paper over it. Hmmmm felt like I was at the doctors office lol... Plus if you have to take a walk to the restroom wear good shoes because I was slipping everywhere. I asked management why the floors are so slippery and he explained condensation from the heat was causing this, parents beware.. All in all its a good place to eat.

Great lunch buffet, $16 for a wide selection of delicious Indian/Thai food. 15 entrees, 2 appetizers, salad bar, 7 desserts, and a crepe station to satisfy your cravings. This isnt just your standard Chicken Tikka Masala, though they serve up a mean rendition. Citrus also offers less common dishes like Bhindi Goat and Pla Rad Prik (fish in chili basil sauce) in their buffet. There were some Thai dishes too like Pad Thai and Tom Kha Shrimp. Dishes were fairly mild on the spice scale. So glad we stopped by on our way to Storm King Art Center!

I have enjoyed casual lunches and special occasions, come by myself, met important clients and showed up with a crowd with no reservations and never once has this place let me down! Top of line service in a beautiful but not to fancy environment thats Always clean even near the end of the lunch buffet which I Highly recommend! At the end of the day though its all about the food and having tried every Indian place within an hours drive I promise you this is the best there is outside of Manhattan and could easily fit in there!

I like the Indian food here. I think the lunch buffet is great. They also offer military discount. When I am in the mood for Indian this is my goto place. If anyone is curious as to why I rate it so highly, its because they are consistently good. When I come here I know the table is going to look beautiful, the waiter is going to be attentive and anything I order will come out perfect every time. Cleanliness, service and food, three things I think anyone would agree makes a 5 star restaurant.

These guys really know what they are doing! Used to go to this place when it was Bukhara Bistro and was not too happy with the place.... NOT THE SAME ANYMORE!!! The food is 10x better, the management has changed and so did the menu! The new menu has indian and thai food. Try the PO PIA spring rolls, they are the best I ever had. The clay oven chicken is amazing as well. Really friendly and top notch service, cant wait to stop in and try something else new off the menu!

This place has consistently great quality meals. The menu has many great Indian and Thai dishes. One thing that always comes through is the care and attention to detail of the chef that makes their dishes appealing. I go here often to eat and to meet with friends. A great way to try many of the dishes is to go for the lunch buffet during the week or, even better, the lunch buffet on Saturday and Sunday (which has more items). I highly recommend this place.

Okay, Im not sure why this place received such glowing reviews. It was good. Quite good. But not amazing or fantastic, for certain. The service was okay. I had a mango lassi that was very tasty. The lunch buffet was not disappointing. But this place does not deserve 4.7 stars. Id give it a 4, maybe (I rated it a 3 to knock them down a peg). 4.7 should be reserved for the truely fantastic places, which this is not.
