After Driving past this place several times this past few weeks, we finally decided to stop and get a bit to eat. The food is fresh and delicious. I have been a big fan of eating indian food for 30 years all over the world. This place is AWESOME. It is true Pakistani home cooking at its best. They need to iron out a few serving issues, the kitchen was struggled to keep up with the orders but thats just teething troubles for any new restaurant. The owner is friendly and funny which kept the wait entertaining. Atmosphere was good a real eclectic group of customers. Prices are great, less that $10 per dish well worth stopping in there. I cant wait to go back. Highlight of our dinner was the chicken sheesh kebab and the channa masala both were so good and my husband loved his goat curry. Congratulations to Dera Masala on opening your new restaurant. We will see you again next week.

All you can eat Indian lunch buffet for $10! Samosas and naan to your hearts content! People say the staff are unresponsive. There is no staff its self serve. You grab drinks on the left, eat on the right and then pay as you leave. You buy takeout at the counter. NO WAITERS MEANS NO TIPS to pay. Cheap delicious get there asap if you love Indian food. This is an affordable oasis among a sea of overpriced Indian restaurants. Most places charge $5 for two small samosas. The samosas here are huge and not hollow and full of air like many cheap places. Get here yesterday and prepare for eating , nay, Feasting for only $10 at lunchtime.

Very great food has very great customer service. Food tasted too delicious. The food made my taste buds leave my tongue and taste all of your food. SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!! I ate 7 kebobs and 3 plates of chicken and rice and I turned into a cow. Oh lord. So delicious. Please eat here. Would recommend to anyone who would like to not feel bad about their weight. I rate this place 374239 stars out of five if I could. Prices are great too.

Found it on the way to Newyork. Sat down to have some good and hopefully avoid the rush hour. Food was great. Very reasonably priced and the server Abdur Rahman was great too, talked about the pakistan and had a nice tea afterwords. I had chapli kabob, seekh kabob, lassi and chicken 65. Food was good and seemed fresh. They have enough parking spots and eating area was clean. So a great experience in conclusion.

Dera Masala have best chapli kabab, seekh kabab, qeema naan, chicken tikka, til wala naan and gyro. i really enjoyed their menu. It has some of the asian food in Clifton. I used to go Edison and New York for good asian food since it is so hard to find nearby. I am a food lover and like good food very much. Thank you Dera Masala for your excellent service and food at such reasonable prices.

Their food is good n very tasty but the service suxs. I have been there several times and every time there was an issue with service. Forgot to bring me something I ordered, forgot to prepare something I ordered for pick-up, and I felt offended when during Ramadan they offered everyone dates n pink milk except me. I am a Spanish Muslim so I guess I was not considered a part of their group.

This was my first time and the food was amazing. It had quality and fine taste. When we arrived the environment was very clean and welcoming, with the staff very attentive. We were served by Abdul Rehman and he was an excellent server. He brought us anything we needed with no hesitation and was very helpful. The restaurant was great and I will definitely go again.

Very good food and ultra convenient for people who live in Passaic County. The seekh kabobs and chicken tikka are great. Very good nans as well. Havent tried everything on the menu, but excellent from what Ive tried so far. Glad to know that there is a good desi place close to home without driving all the way down to Edison. Highly recommend!

We were expecting more out of this buffet as it was advertise as being very good with a lot of varieties. Before I went there they had photos of goat, lamb, chicken, eggplant dishes. There was chicken, and chicken, and more chicken. No goat , no lamb, no eggplant on buffet line all that would have to purchases separately. Disappointed!

I ordered some food..first time visit...it was ice cold as this was a second portion..found out that small really means small so ordered second time ...seems they had to microwave the food ...my thoughts how old is the food?? Is it even prepared there?? And the taste now even my garbage rejects it...never will recommend it to anyone...

I love this place...my husband and I used to go to a Pakistani restaurant in Edison but since we found this one 12 minutes away from home, you cant beat that. The authentic flavor of paki and Indian cuisine are there and the spicy I can handle. Very affordable buffet $10 yummy ... I highly recommend this place.

We all went as a family to this restaurant today. There were 13 of us. Kids elderly. We have to mention that we had an amazing time there. Abdur Rahman was our service person and his service was excellent. We couldnt be happier with the food. We look forward to coming in the future more often.

Whenever i crave Desi/Indian food I always make a trip to Jackson Heights, NY or down South Jersey. Now I can just make a 5 minute drive and have great quality food in my own neighborhood. Food Taste amazing and there Buffet pricing is money well spent! Will be back again tonight lol

Best desi food Ive had in NJ and for excellent prices as well. The people are really friendly specially Rehman bhai and Faisal bhai. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and anybody craving Pakistani/Indian food and looking to have some desi gupshup!

Excellent customer service, awesome weekend buffet with lot of different varieties from halwa puri, gool gapay to shish kabab, nihari, briyani etc, at reasonable price. Will highly recommend if you in the area and looking for authentic Pakistani food.

Stay away from this place, bad Taste of all foods even some kind of smells came from foods and very Limited quantity in Buffets they keep if customer asked about food they said sorry this item is finished. Very bad experience.

Went for an iftar buffet. The place is reasonable for a iftar or dinner at a reasonable price. Some dishes were really good while others were ok and nothing was bad. Place is a little small so it can get congested at times.

They put on online their open 10am everyday.i was waiting in parking lot with my famy till 10:20 for Breakfast today coz its holiday.door was closed called them 10 times. Absolutely ridiculous

Food was good. The buffet price for lunch is $10, very reasonable. Only thing I would say is that even though we had the buffet, no one served our table for drinks or to take away used plates.

Very bad the experience was horrible took about 30 minutes to get my food when their was barely anyone at the place. They also didnt even give us our kabobs. This store needs better employees
