I went with some friends to try their acclaimed Wednesday buffet and was a bit disappointed. I had heard that it was "excellent" and "authentic" and while it definitely was tasty, it was a bit on the dry side and the rice was a tiny bit crunchy. My wife however wants to add that she thought it was delicious and had no problems with it so and thinks I am crazy. She used such words as "Idiot" and "What a retard" to express her emotions about me but we had a fight earlier today so there could have been some lingering anger. Would probably go back again though so that may say something. Tune in next time for more!

This was the worst place ever!!! My family and I ordered food (via grub hub) and they sent us the wrong order. We spent $45 at their establishment and did not want to send us the correct order to correct the problem. They didnt want to hear us out and kept cutting us off while we were on the phone with them. Might I add we ordered lamb and we may have possibly received beef. We ordered take-out and they told us we would have to pick up only a portion of what we originally ordered. Sadly, they tried to blame the issue on Grub Hub. I will not ever order from this restaurant ever again.

I have been ordering from Natraj Palace since past 2 years. 90% of the times, food is amazing and i have been to so many indian places in NY-NJ area - this one is the closest to real Indian Punjabi food. We always ordered Paneer Makhani and Chicken Makhani , and thats definitely 5 stars ( just have to mention to make thick gravy). But guess what? Since past 2-3 times, the same dishes got even better! i wish there was a 7 star option!! I am eating my makhani right now and thoroughly enjoying every bite! Order a Medium to Hot Paneer or Chicken Makhani and you cant go wrong:) Enjoy!

This restaurant is family owned. I have dined in and ordered out for 3+years. The food is amazing and the owner is very personable. I was sad to leave the area when I moved to newark. But during the move I going an old menu and noticed they delivered outside of the bloomfield/belleville area for a small fee. I called and to my surprise they delivered to newark! I have since moved to Greenwood Lake but my mother lives in bloomfield and I work in paterson. I STILL go there when Im in the mood for Indian food. This place will receive my patronage as long as they are open.

Had a super bad experience ordering food from them on phone. Was rude and inpatient. when Promised to be delivered in 30 min, I waited 1 hour and 20 min and the food was still not delivered. I called back again and was told the food was on the way and will be delivered in 10 min, as I am writing this review, its already been another half an hour. Feels like people there over promised something which they cannot achieve. now it is 9:42 pm, starving...

I use to work delivery driver at this place the owner Kumar and his wife Anita was Fraud and theft my money and tip , they very dirty and cheap ppl 8 dollar per hour no work insurance , no tip and I use my car . I was just new in this country , I hate what they did to me , even when i left they took 2 days like 80 $ they didnot pay me . This place looks good , but if any one saw how those ppl dirty and doesnt care , only care about money

Food was totally disgusting . I would never order from that place again Despicable food was totally disgusting I wouldnt even feed that food to a dog the condiments was sugary water instead of Tamarind sauce. They are really trying to sell something over there that they really cannot achieve. Inspectors need to shut that place down garbage food

They delivery on time, I didnt have to wait too long. The driver was a very polite man. I ordered the lamb curry with chicken and vegetable samosas. The Lamb curry was so delicious, tender and so yummy. On the other had the samosas are not too good! They were too oily & salty, I had to throw them out.

This is by far the worse Indian restaurant I have been too. The food is expensive and it does not taste like normal Indian food. The rice and sauce was horrible they got the order wrong. I will never again get food from this place very nasty food.

The ambiance is great; the decor is warm and cozy and the service is friendly and very capable. I know I havent said it yet, but the food was scrumptious. Picar Masala was perfectly seasoned and presented... I highly recommend the palace.

GOOD FOOD BAD SERVICE. Food was good for the price. My complaint is regarding the inattention of the wait staff who spent most of the time talking to each other instead of attending to the customers in the restaurant.

Simple: Its hit or miss. When its good, its really good. But when its bad its way too salty and kind of bland. More times than not, its good. We live in town and its much more affordable than other Indian places.
