Went there on 3/11/17 because no other restaurant in Morristown could seat a party of 7. BIG MISTAKE!!! First of all ALL 7 of us were seated around a small table and very cramped. The table adjacent to us was available at the time we were seated and REMAINED available throughout our entire meal. These tables should have been placed together so that we had room to enjoy our meal. We were packed in so tightly around this table, our place mats were overlapping! We had two servers which I assume is the norm here. One from the bar and one for our meal. Both servers were very friendly. However, the bar server only asked us once for our drink order. You would think at the prices for these drinks she would have made several trips to our table asking us if we wanted another drink! And we did in fact want another round. The bloody marys were spicy and very flavorful. We just would have loved another round. Like I said, at $10 a pop for these drinks, If I had been the bar server, I would have been pushing them. ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE WAS A ST. PATRICKS DAY CELEBRATION HAPPENING ALL OVER MORRISTOWN! The music was WAY TOO LOUD!!! So loud in fact, we had to yell our orders to both of our servers. I have an autistic child and the loud music made her very uncomfortable. Our orders were taken and brought to the table in a timely manner. The food was extremely over priced for the amount of food received especially so because everything there is al la carte! My fiancé and I had the grass fed fingerlakes burger. Sounded delicious. Portion size and flavor left a lot to be desired. The burgers were very bland. The Chatterbox in Augusta has a buckaroo burger with A side and HALF the price with WAYYYYY more flavor. And the music there is at an acceptable decibel level!!!!!!! My fiancé asked for ketchup for his burger. 15 minutes later and 3/4 of the burger gone AND having to find a manager, ketchup was finally delivered to the table. My fiancés sisters are both vegetarian and chose their meals accordingly. One had the veggie burger and the other the quinoa salad. Both barely touched their food as they both proclaimed the food was extremely bland. I wont disclose the entire check amount for our meal but at $10 a pop just for drinks X 7 people, you do the math!!! $$$ but clearly only worth $$ So overly disappointed with This Urban Table Restaurant.

This place has gone completely downhill! My friend & I have been using Urban Table as a meeting place for over a year now to catch up over brunch every couple of months. Weve always had a good experience up until yesterday. We both ordered coffee, and our serve asked if we cared for cream for it... by the time it got to our table our coffee was basically cold. It took almost 30 minutes just to get our other beverages, too. I always order the same thing for my meal, and when it arrived to the table, the egg was extremely over cooked and ice cold, and the bacon tasted 2 days old and was also cold. My friends dish was the same. We embarrassingly had to call over the manager (something I have never done in a restaurant before) and tell him the issue. He barely paid attention to what we said, and just comped our food & gave us both a $20 gift card for "when we come back." (Not happening lol.) So we paid for our drinks- a bill that came to almost $40 for 2 coffees, a glass of white wine, & a mimosa (that they went & used CHAMPAGNE for instead of Prosecco, so instead of that cocktail being $7.95, it came to $17.95 ) and left. Good luck if you decide to eat here, we wont be back. :-)

Ive been to UT a couple of times now and have always had good experiences. However, today I experienced an appalling lack of service and overall sense of concern from the wait staff. Several items came out wrong, the dirty plates were not cleared. I didnt have an opportunity to convey that the food came out wrong because the server LITERALLY never came to check on us once. This is totally understandable when certain conditions exist, like the restaurant being absurdly busy but this was not the case today. I feel as if my past positive experiences at UT have all been trumped by this overwhelmingly negative experience. To top it off, the managers response to our concern seemed far less than genuine and he gave us two cookies as a means of restitution. ....there were 3 of us, 2 cookies, and a clueless waiter. Dont know if Ill return

I want so bad to like this place because the menu and food is really quite good...BUT THE SERVICE IS RETARDED! Every single time were here we wait forever, a plethora of different servers bring drinks and food (which makes tipping undesirable), and each server we encounter seems like its their first time ever doing their job. I understand people need to start somewhere but EVERY SINGLE SERVER seems brand brand new. Its really aggravating. One time we tried to get someones attention for the bill because we sat so long we were running late to our next engagement. It almost seemed like they were ignoring us because no one seemed assigned a section. It felt unorganized and unwelcoming. Well probably go back because its convenient and we do like the food, but it wont be for the stellar dining experience.

Urban Table has a contemporary decor and a trendy hipster menu. Its was crowded on a Thursday for lunch at 12:30pm. The dining room was loud and was difficult to hear each other. The selection of drinks and especially beer was excellent. If you like ice tea they have a delicious & unique selection. The lunch portions were disappointedly small. I had the fish tacos with mouthwatering scallops and a great sauce. The service was adequate. It took a while for the waitress to get our drink order when we were seated. Our waitress was courteous but not as attentive as I would have liked. In all it was a good restaurant and would try it again.

Tough to rate. Food is 2-3 stars. Atmosphere and servers and bartenders are 4+ stars. Pet-friendly outside 5 stars. Beer 5 stars; theyre always changing their on-tap beers, which is fun. I would have given the food a higher rating months ago before they changed their menu and took off all of my favorite things. Please bring back the Sweet Potato fries, Crispy Chicken Chopped Salad, and Tuna Tartar. LOVE the Gluten-free Banana Cream Pie! A friend said it perfectly, "I dont like the food, but Ill be back."

My wife and I just moved to Chatham from California and decided to get some lunch in Morristown. Urban Table is a fun little restaurant. The service isnt great, but nothing to complain about. We both enjoyed our meals, a little on the basic side, but tasty. Only real complaint is that it is a little overpriced for what it is. If you are a soda drinker...$3.00 for an 8oz glass by the glass. No free refills or anything. Adult drinks are great however. Overall I would eat here again.

My husband and I went here for dinner prior to a show. From start to finish, we had a wonderful and delicious experience. The goat cheese crostini featuring butternut squash, apple and pesto, the chicken Cobb salad and the rare tuna burger were all perfectly cooked and presented. Our server Rob and the other staff kept our glasses full, table cleared and were most attentive to our needs. Thank you all for a delicious meal and wonderful experience!
