This place has potential. Very nice setting on the river. I became skeptical when I looked at the menu and the prices seemed somewhat too reasonable for the entrees. (Read, "You get what you pay for."). I had a Blue Moon on tap. The glass was colder than the beer. The "Crispy Fried Calamari" was so soggy we had the waiter touch it to show him how bad it was. He agreed and had the kitchen send out another one but they overcompensated. It was over done, too crispy, and rubbery. I tried the lobster sliders. They were OK but put on the plate with no presentation what so ever. My friend had the Caesar Salad. I tried some of the home made looking croutons from it but they were too large and stale tasting. I didnt ask my friend if he liked the salad. No need to since he didnt finish it. My wife and I shared the Prime Rib.It was served with roasted potatoes and steamed veggies. The prime rib cut was good but unfortunately, it was in a watery fluid that had no flavor. I didnt even try the potatoes or veggies. I tried a different beer on tap. But it too was not cold at all. My daughter had the shrimp tempura sushi. It had no taste. She also had the oysters and French onion soup and really liked both. My friends had the twin lobster tails. They said it was alright. I really wonder if they have a chef here? Was he on vacation for the Labor Day weekend? Or just someone cooking in the kitchen that knows how to throw some food together? I hope the management reads these reviews and step it up because the location is great, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is good. I would only come back here if they advertise that they have a whole new kitchen staff and menu. Check that... the dishes were clean, so the dishwashing staff can stay. Tom T.

Wish I had better news !!! Have ben going here for a few years. Unfortunately the place has issues. Went there other day to try the new menu. VERY DISAPPOINTING . Arrived on Friday evening around 6:30 PM. There was no hostess by the door so we stood around to finally a waiter told us to sit anywhere. We sat down and waiter 6 to 7 minutes before the waitress came over to task our drink order. My Pino Grigio was warm so I asked for some ice. We ordered our food and the kitchen was VERY SLOW !! Finally the food arrived, I ordered the mussel appetizer and the lobster sliders. The mussel were fresh and good but my dish was cold, should have been hot. The lobster sliders were awful, very salty and the lobster was butchered like hash. Absolutely NO presentation. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi, shrimp were good but the scampi had no taste, bland, bland ..... Again NO GOOD. I asked for another glass of wine and some more ice and the waitress brought over a smaller glass filled to the top so that I could not put anymore ice in, REALLY !! My son ordered a hamburger, looked good but was overcooked, like a hockey puck. Obviously there is a management issue here, has always been. Its a nice place and has great potential but the food and service STINK. The guy next to our table ordered Oysters, (6) they came and they were warm, he only ate 2 out of the 6. This new kitchen staff is a BUST, they should stay in North Jersey !!!

This used to be a great establishment to have dinner, drinks and catch some good tunes but as of late the only thing that has remained consistently good are some of the regular bartenders who return each season. The parking lot is in disrepair, there is big rut where the road meets the parking lot upon pulling into the place. Not a great first impression for a place where you are expecting to pay a premium for drinks because of the location. Not everybody comes there on a boat but they dont really care about us landlubbers. They built a new stage last year but it looks like that is the only improvement made in a long time. Its starting to look a little rundown on the grounds. Best to go at night so its not as noticeable. The food....forget it. Its like ordering off a kids menu with the choices offered. Long gone are the baked brie appetizers or the eggplant towers. Youre better off going to Seaside and eating boardwalk food than eating here now. I guess this place is more of a tourist trap and guess what? They can have it. Us locals know much better places to go for food and drink.

Tara and the banquet staff was absolutely amazing!! We had our daughters baptism party there and had a fantastic time. Everyone from the bartender to servers were so polite and professional. Goes to show that people who write negative reviews have nothing else to do. The banquet even let my guests enter the room 45 minutes early!!! The food was kept hot and truly was delicious. My guests raved about the stuff chicken parm and crusted salmon. They are very accommodating and definitely deserve the five star rating. They not only let us in 45 minutes early before the start of the party, but also met us there 6 hours early to help set up the decorations. I will for sure be booking my next event there.

We had our daughters wedding reception here Sat. 9/10/16. Everything was wonderful! From the delicious food to the outstanding wait staff to the wonderful banquet manager, Anne. Anne met with myself and my daughter whenever we needed to and attended to every detail. I cant recommend this venue highly enough. You will be very pleased if you book any major event here. The outdoor setting for the cocktail hour was so beautiful with the sunset. The price was more than reasonable considering all that we received. All our guests raved!

Save your money. Baked brie was OK but they one give 4 pieces of bread. Kids chicken fingers OK. Caesar salad was way over dressed and very mayonnaisey. Chicken sandwich was dry as a bone with no flavor or seasoning. Penne pasta with sun dried tomatoes , chicken and sausage was bland and boring again lacking seasoning. Air conditioning not on or not working on a hot day 7/5/16. Asked waiter but no change in temp while every one in there is sweating. Hard floors disgustingly sticky like they were washed with a dirty mop.

Clams oreganto were chewy. The Zuppa de Pesce was so so - what killed it for me was the salmon they put in it. I would of preferred some white fish. Food took forever to come out. Not a place Im going to be coming to again. My husbands chicken and sausage - it needed flavor. Didnt seem like they put any spices on the chicken when they cooked it. I think this is the first time we didnt take a doggy to bag to go, it was that bad.
