Worst food we ever ate out! The ONLY thing good about this place was the service and parking. We had a large party, not one persons meal was decent. We wanted to eat at the Bum Rogers next door but they had an hour and a half wait time. So we went next door and Pier House was on a 25 min wait. We should have known then! Stuffed mushrooms were tiny soggy and stove top mush, there was No crab in it, no flavor and sitting in water. New England clam chowder was tan and taste like cornstarch and no other flavor. Chicken franseca tasted like boiled chicken over pasta with lemon squeezed on it. We were told the kids could not have a salad with their meal like the menu stated. They said that was supposed to be taken off the menu and anyways we dont have much lettuce in the restaurant left. Then we were told that we could buy and adult salad because they had enough lettuce for adults. WHAT??? Fries were frozen crinkle cut dried out and gross. Noone was happy with their meal. $198 down the drain. Honestly we would have been better off at a Mcdonalds. But the topper was the bathrooms were disgusting and the womens bathroom lock didnt work and I was walked in on. Why ask for a manager when its obvious that you cant fix the problems with your food years later. We literally told people waiting outside that they should just leave because the food was a disgrace!

Kitchen rescue needs to come here. There is something to be said when its 830pm on a Saturday night 45 min wait at the restaurant next-door and you can walk in with plenty of open seating.. The "hostess" seemed to not be able to understand the number four for our party and kept repeating "five?" "five?", made us wait to clean off a table while there was plenty of open seating. Second the waitress seemed very unfamiliar with the menu and items that were part of the dish were left with no mention. The Crab Caruso looked like something you would find in a pig trough- Slop served in a dish, minimal crab, something oddly crunchy in the dish (crab shell??)- looked like gray Stove Top Stuffing from Thanksgiving 2013. The Crab Cakes were flattened out sausage patties and the baked potato was basically twice baked giant margarine ball. The vegetables were dehydrated astronaut food. If you are looking for a good seafood dinner spare yourself and do not come here. I am not one to write reviews ever but this was such a disappointment.

My experience was terrible. I was very disturbed the entire time there. I was very hungry and ready to eat. We had made our reservation at 8:00 PM. A waitress FINALLY came over to our take at 8:20 PM. We had made our orders and we were excited for the claimed "excellent sea food!" At 9:15 PM we finally got our food. And to be honest it was terrible, I had never been more disappointed at a restaurant before. If you even call it a restaurant, maybe just a place that serves spoiled food. The food wasnt even the worst part, the waitress may have not been too good either. Her voice was very scratchy and it sounded like she smoked since she was little. Not to mention that the building basically empty, but somehow the waitress still couldnt serve us quick enough. And I have not idea how either. Overall I was just EXTREMELY disappointed in the food, service, and all around experience. I would definitely NEVER go back. Sorry was just very unhappy.

Went to Pier House for an early bird dinner.Our waiter was John. He definitely could have been more friendly and barely had any eye contact with us at all when speaking to us. We got the clams oreganata for an appetizer and there was barely any clams in it at all. It was a bunch of mushy breadcrumbs. We ordered the fish and chips for our entrees and they were two small pieces. They were also very hard to cut through. They gave us what looked like frozen French fries you buy at the grocery store and they were all dried out. Although this was our first time here, we dont think we will return. Not worth the time or money. You have many one-star reviews. I highly suggest you get a new chef and new employees. If you really care about your restaurant, youll listen to all of your unhappy customers and try to fix these problems before you lose your business all together.

TERRIBLE food starting from appetizers (mushed soupy chopped clams) to anything else. Even the salad (brown old lettuce). Portions not worth cost (broiled seafood combo). Please do not get anything crabmeat stuffing-super rip off. a non local like me got suckered in on convenience location/ambiance . Staff was great on a flip side. Bland food in all honesty vs cost & amount. Sorry to post this. Really should have walked out - wasted $ To the owners, I see that you respond to reviews, which is great, but after reading top notch negative reviews both old & new, you have done nothing to make things better. Unfortunately I was another profit to you yet again and a very dissatisfied customer. Wish I could get my money back. Sad to say.

Ordered the lobster "special" for myself and my girlfriend. First the lobster barely had any meat as most of it seemed to be water indicating it was old. The mashed potatoes tasted like hungry Jack boxed brand and had no flavor while the Mac and cheese tastes like velveeta. Crab stuffed mushrooms were soggy and tastes primarily of butter which they used to attempt adding flavor to it. Over priced crap that I could make at my home better. I wish I would have gone elsewhere but at least I know never to give them my business and steer all my friends and family clear of this place. Management needs to listen to the long list of complaints and address it before another bad review comes out rather then after.

Well myself, my wife and my 5 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter went there for supper and ate for $90 after the $5 tip. I about crap. I ordered the fried seafood combination dinner, my salad was room temp, my baked potato was dry, and for $25 it was NOT worth it. My wife ordered the filet mignon and it was about the size of a baseball. She had a rotten cherry tomato in her salad, and a rotten baked potato that she sent back. The ice tea was watery, my kids spit the shrimp and fish basket that was $13. OVER RATED!!! OVER PRICED!!! It was hot in there also and humid. Im just sick over spending $90. I could of bought a full tank of gas with some change for that, lol.

ATROCIOUS!!!! Overcooked, Overpriced seafood. Wilted lettuce on the plate. Crabcakes were like cat food. Cocktail sauce was like ketchup jelly. The worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I spent $30 for the seafood combo - everything on the plate was over-fried and unattractive on the plate. We paid $20 for a seafood appetizer which included 3 shrunken shrimp in a pasta sauce soup and clams casino which was basically mushy breading in a shell. There are several high-quality restaurants close by which have much better food and are actually cheaper. You must also bring your own drinks here.
