Wait staff and servers were delightful. Very kind, solicitous and helpful. Everything after that was a total disappointment. We sat a table that was so wide we could barely hear each other on either side of it. The table itself looked and felt dirty with tacky, oily stains all over it. We were not sure if was some sort of finish or unwashed but in any case, it did not make any of us want to touch it. Not being able to lean in because of the unappetizing table top, made it even harder to hear each other across the great divide. We ordered the deviled EGG - note there is ONE EGG served in this appetizer. I repeat ONE EGG, and a small-ish, medium-sized egg, at that. This appetizer is $9. NINE DOLLARS FOR ONE SMALL EGG. This infuriated me/us but we soldiered on cheerfully. The ricotta appetizer came with three 2.5 inch rectangles of stale bread - $7. We began to feel like stars in The Emperors New Clothes. The three meat-eaters enjoyed their dishes but the paltry serving of rack of lamb was another embarrassingly over-priced item. What suckers!! My daughters vegetarian gnocchi arrived with the bacon brown butter intact. It was returned to the kitchen and replaced with a metallic-tasting, out-of-a-can red sauce dumped over the gnocchi. OUCH. My mushroom ravioli was tasteless and the sauce was like water. BUMMER. Since it was my birthday, we ordered the almond cake and agreed it was too bad we hadnt passed. Very nice people, loud atmosphere, unclean tables, shabby... with a very sleek and deceiving menu. We will not be back, although we did like all the servers and the chef was kind enough (and bold!?!) to say hello.

I dont know why, but they were doing everything in their power not to serve us! When we called to make the reservation we were told that they are full. We were a group of 25, really wanted to go to Farm to Table restaurant, so we decided to try out luck, and worth comes the worst, just order "to go" and have a picknik. The weather was nice. However, to our surprise the place was all empty. Not a single customer was present! We were waited to be served. But no one even paid attention to us! Complet ignorance. I had to start talking some louder, in order to hear back that someone will be back with me. Then we were asked, if we are those people who called about reservation, that maybe we should go to another restaurant, that maybe we should check the menu first, to see if we like it. We checked the menu, and, actually, to their surprise, like it. We were told that they have a party reserved, but we promised to leave as fast as they served us! Finally, we got seated. The service wasnt good at all. We shouldve listened to all the "warnings"! The food was pretty mediocre, and highly overpriced. The grilled chicken tasted like a shoe! We were there for a few hours, at the time we left, we havent noticed any other party planning to attend! The conclusion can be made, "Dont push, if you are not welcome!!!".

I was very disappointed appointed at the lack of variety on the menu. They were out of so many items because they were changing the menu the following week, but that left little for our dinner party to choose from. They continued to run out of items as the evening progressed, and we even had to change some of our selections. I choose the chicken and it was a boring and dry. The chocolate dessert that our waitress talked up was cold and had the messy appearance of a microwave mug cake. I selected this restaurant for my birthday celebration months ago and I was looking forward to it. While they acknowledged other patrons birthdays, they ignored my celebration even though it was obvious because we had birthday balloons and flowers at the table. I have been to many of the local restaurants in Mercer county and this is one I will not go back to again.

Restaurant is sub-par at best.... And that is more than generous. Staff was not smiling and hostess looked like she would rather be elsewhere. Service was slow and our table was not checked up on once to see if everything was ok. Coffee came in French press that was broken (both the press and the glass lip for pouring were broken and chipped). Food was a mixed bag. Eggs were good. Roasted beet salad was not. Salad was entirely greens with a small (very small) amount of tiny cubed beets on bottom of plate. Not roasted, either. First time at this restaurant. Last time at this restaurant. Would not recommend. Area has many other restaurants that offer better value, better food and better service.

One of my happy places! My husband and i have never been dissapointed. Your brunch is to die for! That raspberry jam should be jared! Diner here is a very intimate experience it feels as though you are eating with friends and i have loved every dish but i have to say that your fall menu is my fav. The butternut squash ravioli is so yum!!!!! And that chocolate flourless cake is so good it makes you want to slap your mama!!! I have already instructed the hubby to take me here for my birthday later this month! Finally, the staff is super friendly and the chef you can tell takes pride in his work!

We came in, Saturday, without reservations. We were told that reservations were needed. We said no problem, and that we would come back another time after making reservations. The owner came to our rescue and seated us at a table by the window. Rennie the chef/owner and his staff were very engaging throughout our stay. The food was to die for. I had the Berkshire pork chop and my wife had the roasted chicken breast. Both were excellent choices. We had a great experience and will be back again for dinner. Keep up the good work.

My family, friends and I had a wonderful experience at 12 Farms. From the inviting, casual atmosphere to the precise, friendly service, we enjoyed every minute of our meal. But the star of the show was the delicious and varied menu, artfully prepared with care and respect for the beautiful, locally harvested ingredients. Bottom line, we cant wait to return very soon and have been recommending 12 Farms to everyone we know.

Dont risk going here! We drove across New Jersey to have what we hoped would be a nice farm-to-table dinner. The restaurant officially closes at 9 pm. We arrived at 8:15 and they prevented us from entering, explaining that "their kitchen had just closed." I find that tonally irresponsible personally, and would never patronize a place that doesnt give a flying frig about their customers.

Wonderful experience. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. The chef/owner came out to tables to ensure all were happy with their meal and added a degree of familiarity that made you feel like you were with friends. We will certainly return. This meal was for dinner but next time we might try brunch...or maybe just return for another fabulous dinner!

What a wonderful Restaurant!!!! Gluten free and vegetarian options. The servers (Patrick and Octavious were so sweet and truly helpful! We had a vegetarian and someone who is allergic to gluten in our party and they explained all of the ingredients and made sure we could eat everything in the dishes that we chose. We will definitely be driving the two hours down here for dinner again!
