This fishery is delicious. The delectable whiting is juiced to the gills like Brock Lesnar. Dip that flavorful fish into Kelchners tartar sauce and youll be feeling like you went somewhere over the rainbow. A little bit pricey, but youre getting an assortment of the best local seafood in the area. Great french fries for the food platters as well. Basically, if youre looking for the best selection of fresh fish in Ocean County, make sure you make a stop off the Mantaloking Bay Bridge in Brick and come to Crab Shack.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. Its a gem of Brick town. The owner Darrell is such a nice man and really treats his customers with respect. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. You are getting the most for your money here at the Crab Shack on Mantoloking Rd. ;) Definitely stop in and give it a try for yourself. You will not be disappointed whether you are eating in the little restaurant or taking home to prepare yourself.

This place is a genuine fresh fish store / restaraunt. Fish is delivered daily by local fishers. Theres nothing fancy here; just the freshest and best quality sea food you can imagine. We went there last year and had steamers, lobster along with the fish and chips. We were utterly satisfied. It was messy and delicious.

Ordered crab and it came out cold. When we asked to have it steamed we were told they had a larger order to do and couldnt heat our food. Then the women who served our food decided it was ok to give attitude when we asked her to take it back. Worst $100 I ever spent.

This is the best seafood market I know of in Ocean Country. They also serve prepared food. Darryls knowledge of fresh seafood is deep and he puts it to good use buying the best available. If you want the best seafood available then you go here. Period.

Completely authentic and run by locals. Always super fresh catches you can see before your eyes. Delicious menu and decent amount of variety. I only wish there was more sit down room for eating there as I passed by on my way back from the beach.

Its not at all elegant, and the fare is simple, but good and reasonably priced! And you can pick up all sorts of seafood to cook at home. Whenever we are in the area we stop in for lunch here. Family run, friendly and informal.

We love this place!! Daryls smoked salmon is to die for and the soups and gumbo as well. I love that its a family business. Weve been going for 10 years and try to stop there whenever we make our beach trips!
