Went to Wasabi expecting an authentic Japanese food experience. Have grown up eating lots of Japanese cuisine so I at least have some idea what Im getting myself into. First off: the ramen was horrible. Im not going to lie, the ramen they served pretty much tasted like those $1 instant ramen noodles you buy from the supermarket. Big disappointment. Sushi wise, we ordered the supreme platter. The tuna slices were very thin, which seemed as though I was eating tuna-flavored rice instead of tuna sushi. The ambiance is nice, however. I came for the food though, and thought it was below average. Im giving it a 2-star rating on the sole fact that they have top-quality napkins (felt like actual cloth!)

BEST LOBSTER ROLLS EVER !!!! Huge. Twice the size of their other rolls. When I go back to NYC, I dream of Wasabis Lobster rolls. Who would have thunk it! And its the best thing on the menu .... After I went here for the first time 2 months ago while visiting my mom on the weekend, I went back home and literally went to 5 other Japanese restaurants in NYC and compared their lobster roll, hoping to find a similar feast near my home. No Comparison. Hands Down. WASABI is my new favorite weekend restaurant. TRY the LOBSTER ROLL ! You wont be disappointed (unless of course, you dont like Lobster).

I have been going to Wasabi consistently since it opened. I recently went there and it was horrible. The waiter got my order wrong and the sushi was just horrible. I dont know if they changed owners or what but it was not the same as it has been in previous years. I considered Wasabi an excellent local sushi restaurant in the past, but plan on never going back.

From all the reviews i thought this would be a wonderful place to have lunch I was sadly mistaken the rolls are small compared to other sushi restaurants I have tried across the country and it seem the quality was lacking a bit I had 2 rolls and was disappointed

Consistently a wonderful place to eat, though I admit Ive only ever had their sushi and sashimi. They seem comparably priced to other sushi restaurants around and the service ia always prompt and welcoming. Wonderfully fresh fish and a good selection of sushi.

LOVE Wasabi!! Dawn and Beyong, the owners are amazing! Best sushi in NJ hands down. Huge portions and friendly staff! Stay for the hibachi and you cant go wrong!! Love this little place, its so elegant and CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Sushi lacked flavor and our waitress was not at all friendly. We have had much better sushi for a lot less money in this area. Ambiance was nice.
