FIRST THING THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE 1 STAR BUT TO POST MY REVIEW I HAD TO GI E THEM A STAR..UGHHH..THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE!!!! I spent $45 for food that we spit out into our napkins. Tried to get my money back and was told nope you were here more than 10 minutes and had 5 plates of food. when I tried to explain my husband, 2 kids , and I had a plate and everything on those plates we spit back out on those plates because it all was disgusting I was told you were here more than 10 minutes. I than got loud and made sure everyone in the place knew how disgusting this place was If that is the policy then you need to post it when you first come in the door. finally after 20 minutes the so called manager who could barely speak English said I will call the police. I said call them. But then as a mother in front of my two kids I said I done with this, we barely got in the car and my husband began getting sick, the point of vomitting. They still didnt get my money.. I called the bank and had the transaction voided. also I will be calling and filing a complaint to the dept of health. that place is selling old expired cooked or under cooked food. They false advertise what they have and the only seafood on the buffet was old over cooked shrimp and blue crab, place is being run by crooks who barely speak english. Please do not eat here, find another place to eat in wildwood, nj.

During my short and horrible time at rusty rudder I had some of the herendous food in my life. There was hair in the salad, the corn was basically wood chips in water, they dont know the difference between a female blue claw crab and snow crabs, and they charge 7.00 more for something you are never going to receive, lastly you couldnt cut the prime rib, everything was undercooked to the point of puking, it was straight the worst food ever. At all costs stay away, you and your family deserve better than the crap they serve at this crappy restaurant. If it were up to me I would have this restaurant closed immediately. The employees suck and have idiotic attitudes, they are not understanding stubborn, and have no common sense. They say things about you in a Russian language under their breath. This restaurant sucks if there was a negative stars there isnt a number in the world that i could say. Now that I finished this fake food and wasted my time and money I am going to puke and go eat some real food. STAY AWAY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FAMILY!

7-14-2012 HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE!! STAY AWAY AWAY ALL COSTS! I walked in with my family of 8 for breakfast, and they charged us ahead of time before even sitting down. No wonder, because we filled our plates from this buffet, took a couple of bites, and spit out our food. It was completely in-edible and not even fit for a pig. I refused to let my children ingest this poison. Then, we went to the "manager" and she refused to give us a refund! Not only that, but some big Russian guy (I was told it was the owner) tried to muscle me out the door. I had to call the Wildwood police figuring they would help us get our money back because we did not eat. It turns out that the two cops that showed up were nasty to us right off the bat and tried to turn the tables like we did something wrong. One cop told me he knew the owner for over 20 years. The Wildwood police are obviously paid off by this place, which is Russian owned, and could give two craps about us American citizens who have been vacationing there for decades. A very sad situation.

I read several of the reviews that said to stay away! I told my mother and sisters that we should go somewhere else but my mother was determined to eat at the so called "buffet" because she saw the sign that says under new management. I was still apprehensive but my mother really wanted to eat there so we went. HORRIBLE!! the advertisement said that they have over 60 choices a complete lie at the most 5 eatable things and no ice cream or desserts. It is not worth 12.99 and the 2.00 drink charge. All we ate was the corn and watermelon. You could do so much better eating on the boardwalk! A complete waste of money and when we left we went to eat somewhere else.The employees were taking pictures, playing with there iPad, and ignore the customers. This place is fools gold TRASH, TRASH, TRASH!! Stay away for your on good $70 wasted for noting. Please dont make the same mistake we made!

Where do I even start with this place ? The new owners have completely destroyed this restaurant I couldnt wait to come and eat at the rusty rudder a family ritual every summer that every one in the family loved this place NOT ANY MORE !!!!! STAY AWAY COLD FOOD FLIES yes that says flies the staff is ignorant I asked for a refill to my drink and the lady says WHAT DO YOU WANT like I was a bother to her ... we raised questions about the cost of the bill because It was supposed to be 10.99 per person and our bill was 96dollars there was 7 of us 5 adult 2 children ages 3 and 5 5 year old was 7.99 and the 3 year old was free well we found out that parties 4 and larger they add 15% gratuity for a server that doesnt even do anything for you needless to say my family and I will never go back again the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant

Well when I first walked in, I should have known that it was going to be a terrible place from the lack of customers. First off, for 5 people it cost us over $70. They add their tip to your bill when you first walk in basically. Second, the food was ABSOLUTELY terrible. There was no variety for the amount of money you pay out, on top of that everything that was supposed to be hot was cold, and everything that should have been cold, (the salad bar) was warm and swarming with flies. After a few minutes a few more customers came in, and discovered the reason why none of the food was at its proper temperature...they didnt have the chafers on for the hot food (that keeps the food hot), and the cooler for the salad bar either. DO NOT EAT HERE! It IS NOT worth the money and Im pretty sure you might get sick if you consume anything from here!!!!

I wish I read the reviews before I ate here (I usually do). This is far by the worst Buffet I ever had. This cant be by the Chinese?? Anyway all the food I ate was too much gease/butter/margarine. The crabs were really cold. Who serves cold crabs! They should of been hot and straight from the steamer. Thank GOD I didnt have to pay for my child. And they have the nerve to charge gratuity. Also I didnt like the price wasnt what their flyer said. The only thing that was fresh and good to eat was the fried shrimp, only because I caught the batch they just put out. TO MANAGEMENT :Hire better cooks! And make sure the crabs are HOT
