I honestly cant remember if this is close to the original sauce or not, send to me it is, but what it is missing is history. It has been purchased by some millennials I believe who are trying to preserve a piece of history but are making it too generic. I remember Jimmy lining dogs up his arm in the steamy window on pike street! This crew needs to start making this their history, be authentic and the crowd will come. Send to me they already have a great product, but packaging needs some work. I will still go there for my fix though. The burgers and dogs are good and the staff is very friendly, almost too friendly. Great lunch spot

Although the hot dog size has decreased and the meat sauce is noticeably more watery than it used to be, this place is still pretty decent. Since I was a kid, Ive been coming here to get "2 with everything" and a Yoohoo. Translation: 2 hotdogs with meat sauce, onions, and mustard on them. This place sells hot dogs, burgers, fries, things like that. Nothing fancy, but they do what they do pretty well. If you come to Port Jervis, this is a local favorite spot to eat. Not as great as it used to be, but still pretty good.

I remember the hotdogs from long ago. Now with the new owners the sauce which is famous is different. Its thicker and doesnt taste the same something is different and not in the good way. Prices are outrageous !

Texas lunch is a staple to the Port Jervis community. If you are traveling through, you must stop in. There secret sauce is very unique and incredible. There hotdogs are second to none.
