Me and 3 other people came in Sunday at 11am to try their breakfast options. We walked through the door and the bartender who made eye contact with us ignored us for a while. So we walked toward the dining room in hopes to find someone to seat us because there were many open tables, it looked like their breakfast rush had just ended because there was only people sitting at the bar..I walked like 2 feet and she yelled "hey excuse me! You cant sit over there!" And I was like "hey! Can we have a table?" And she said while counting on her fingers "1 theres a wait. 2. Were done serving breakfast" I stopped her there and said ok bye and walked out. Coming from someone who works in food service - a business that has only been opened for one week should not treat potential customers with such disrespect because thats bad for business. And as all of us involved (except the yelling woman) come from a minority background, we felt UNWELCOME / embarrassed and racially profiled.

Average to poor. Tried the new Warwick location for lunch. They have a popcorn gimmick, they bring popcorn to your table when you arrive. How was it? Wouldnt know, as we were not offered or brought any. Tried the brisket sandwich, the meat was dry and tasteless. Very dependent on the sauces for flavor, which was disappointing as good BBQ brisket will stand on its own without enhancements. Asked for Tabasco and was brought one of the off brand hot sauces, with no comment from the waiter. He just put it on the table. Overall the service was neither attentive nor helpful. My daughter did enjoy the burger. She said it was one of the best in the area. Besting our current local champion TNT Burger. The cost is about average for the area. 3 lunches were about $50 including a 10% tip. I do miss Chumleys for near us BBQ. Unfortunately for great BBQ, we have to trek over to Round Up in Cold Spring. World class!

The interior and exterior decor was warm and inviting. Being from the South, I have extreme mixed feelings about Double S Smokehouse. The meat had great flavor, however, the portion size of the brisket in addition to the fact it was chopped not sliced left me in a state of great disappointment. The baked beans were good but not great and would be better served hot and not luke warm. The greens were well seasoned and delicious. The sweet tea is not true sweet tea. The cornbread tasted like Jiffy Corn muffin mix and lastly, the Cole Slaw tasted like it was fermented. Im not sure what recipe they use for slaw but it should be burned and a new recipe used. The Staff was friendly and the prices slightly higher than most smokehouses Ive EVER been to. All in all I was overly disappointed! I expected way more from a smokehouse, especially one serving southern sides.

First and last time. Upon ordering, i was told there was no soup left and also no cole slaw because of an incident in the morning. My wife ordered the Veggie burger and collard greens. Her meal was good. I ordered the pulled chicken with a side corn on the cob and fries. However, the pulled chicken tasted like it was made yesterday and reheated. The fries were soggy, and the corn on the cob was awful. Dried out and tasted like it was frozen. Also, check your ticket before paying. We were charged 2.95 for each of our waters. They removed it before I paid. What a bad experience all around.

Fast service. Polite staff. Good, filling food. The menu is varied enough to try lots of new dishes, and they do have specials on weekends. (They used to have chocolate chip cookies for dessert, but the pie is good too, haha). The local photos are great to look at, and the whole place has a cozy, familiar feel. Theyre not trying to be some hokey Western-themed BBQ joint, but they do have that rustic feel.

Offering 4 different table sauces, only one of which is tolerable. Chicken came out soaked in broth. The best part of the meal was the cornbread, and I dont particularly like cornbread. Bath room smelled like cat urine because of the leaking toilet water on the floor. The towel laying there to soak up the water has been there so long it can not absorb any more. Avoid at all costs!

Cute, house looking place. Great atmosphere, cool decor, the staff is very friendly, country music playing. Fried mac & cheese bites, fried corn are good appetizers. Great sweet tea, brisket, pulled pork and the smoked sausage is out of this world. Finished it off with homemade pumpkin pie. Reasonably priced, will definitely be back again.

Food wasnt that great and prices were out of control. It was 80 bucks for two apps and two meals. That would be fine if it was outstanding. But the local Chinese place had better ribs. I really wanted to love this place too as we used to love the double s diner

Maybe its just me but chicken isnt supposed to be so dry that ît actually disintegrates into dusty flakes when you cut into it. The potato salad and collards were very good and my wife enjoyed her ribs, so perhaps I caught them on a bad day

Great food and even better staff. Great gluten free options and very knowledgeable about allergins. Recommend this place to all our out of county friends and family. Pulled pork and grilled salmon are on the top of my favorite list here

The food is great and the place inside nice but my only complaint is that every time I go there, several different waitresses come to the table every 2 minutes to check to see if we are done and it makes me feel like Im being rushed.....

Gum chewing wait staff but nice. Beans were canned with onions and some meat, corn bread tasted pre-packaged, pulled chicken was very dry and the hush puppies were so dry and tasteless. Beef brisket was the most edible cut.

Great comfort food! Tried the dry rubbed ribs and smoked sausage, both awesome. Ribs fall right off the bone and are melt-in-your mouth tender. Reasonable prices, nice portions. Pleasant service. BYOB. Casual atmosphere.

The service was very slow, maybe that is why they served popcorn while you waited to both give your order and received your meal. The food was not very tasty. It will be a long time before I will return.

I thought this place was amazing. I had the shredded chicken with sweet potatoes and there coleslaw was fresh. We sat outside and the service was on point. I would definitely recommend this place!

I thinking it the Pulled Pork was good a little dry but they had had a good choices of sauces and the drinks came in this big Mason jar. Id definitely drop by again when Im in the area.

I love BBQ sauce, but the 4 they say they have all taste like ketchup with different spices in them. Expensive and not a lot of food. Will never go back.
