I ordered on Cinco de Mayo knowing it would be busy, which was fine, but what bothers me is the misinformation I was given. I placed my order and was told 30-45 min. wait. After an hour I called the restaurant and the woman on the phone said "it just went out, it should be there any minute." After waiting another 40 min. I called again and was told THE SAME THING "it just went out, it should be there any minute." Another 15 min. went by, and my food FINALLY arrived. The steak in my burrito was overdone and chewy, but otherwise it was good, but I paid a $1.50 for fries with my order and they were freezing cold and soggy by the time they arrived. Kind of disappointed since Ive ordered before and it was excellent, hopefully next time Ill have better luck...

This place was recommended to me and when I went the food was not good at all. The shrimp quesadilla was bland, they do not provide guacamole with the meal and charged $2.50 extra for guacamole that should of came with an already overpriced meal. I have shrimp quesadillas by my job in downtown Manhattan and they are slightly cheaper but taste 100% better than this place. I had to give it 1 star and thats still being nice.

At "Casa Lupita" was food was Great. The Waiter Service was great as well. They had a Menu that lots of WONDERFUL food (Great for Kids/Family) to eat. The environment in was very MEXICAN and has great songs to listen while you are waiting for your order to come. Please dont be alert, the owner of the restaurant has children and her oldest daughter will be taking your order.

This is the place to go for Mexican food in Bayonne. Lupita and her staff offer great service and her food always hits the spot. I love her horchata and taco choices. We order once a week for our office and everyone looks forward to it. I am thrilled this restaurant is in Bayonne. The restaurant is quaint, clean and everything is made fresh to order.

Their food is so good! Reminds me of my parents cooking! Definitely authentic Mexican food! Buena comida y servicio! Gracias!!! They are very friendly and highly recommend. The horchata is so good!!!! I would ignore that one star rate.
