I wish google would have option for the worst ratings . Giving one star I think its too much here. We had really a worst customer service experience . When you order 1 entree , you are supposed to get 1 bowl of salad or soup complimentary. We ordered 8 enrees and 3 appetizer and we got 2 soup plus only 1 bowl of salad ( supposed to get total 8 bowls of salad or soup as per Olive Garden s official offer ) I asked the service attendant for the explanation, she was very rude and disrespectful. So we asked for the manager , he was even beyond her , frankly speaking sounded RACIST too . The explanation was as we guys are sharing the 8 entrees we would get only one bowl of salad and soup. For the refill he will charge extra . So we just wanted to see is it true for all the order , so we went ahead and ordered one more entree separately. Shockingly as per the offer we got one bowl of salad complementary with new order ( It was not because he was being nice but he didnt have option thats why). I dont understand how he justified one bowl of salad for one enree vs 8 enrees order. On the top of this ,as this wasnt enough , service attendant put only 4 plates between 11 persons . And didnt show up for the next 15 minutes. We called her multiple times using that fancy device they have it on table but no response for 15 mins . Off course you get soda or drink you order before the appetizer or at least before the entree, olive garden secaucus has reverse sequence . You would get them after getting the enrees if you are lucky enough. One of the worst customer service.. RIP Off..!! At the end we got different service attendant, she was really nice and pleasant .

The never ending pasta meal is a scam to me at this particular olive garden. the kitchen was running very slow to the point where we had to wait 45 mins to an hour till the appetizers came , the meal and the salad and bread sticks 30 mins later. We ordered the apple cristata and it was so nasty, the dough on the bottom was raw, the apples were drenched in sugar and the ice cream literally looked like it was thrown on top on the plate with nuts and crushed graham crackers. My mother and i then ordered the never ending pasta. i ordered a fetteccini alfredo spagetti with grilled chicken. The waiter brings me the dish 45 mins later and the chicken is literally old chicken, due to it brown color, just ripped into to little pieces and put into the pasta. They didnt grill the chicken at all. when i asked for my second plate w/o chicken after i finished the dish and put the chicken to the side, i told him i would eat some now, and then pack up the dish, the salad/bread, and drink along with my mothers to go since we didnt finish all of it. He comes back and tell us that the CHEF said to charge us for my dish being put into a container to leave and also the salad along with it, what a ripe off !!!! i can honestly say that i will never go back to that olive garden in secaucus ever again, even after going there for over 12 yrs! Route 22 olive garden would be my best pick due to the treatment and service and food than the one in secaucus.

Had a gift card, went to Olive Garden. Sat at the bar so can only discuss this location. I have worked in hospitality my entire life and have never seen such a poorly-run bar. The amount of dirty cups on the service bar, between clean drinks being made, was atrocious. In my experience, the general idea of mixing clean and dirty dishes is never a good look for a bar. By far the worst infraction was the amount of fruit flies underneath the corner of the bar I was sitting at was unlike anything Ive ever seen. Trust me, i understand how fruit flies operate, but it was to the point where anytime a bartender passed this general area a small army of flies would fly around for a few seconds and then settle on whatever they were after. Ive never seen anything like it. The only thing it can be attributed is the lack of care and poor cleaning/storing habits of this bar. I have never seen anything like it. I wish i had taken my phone to dinner - but needless to say we wont be back. Food and service were sub-par and nothing to write home about. For a company who just reinvested millions, if not more, back into their overall brand and image in the last year or two, this was a disgrace. Olive Garden should be embarrassed to have their name on the experience I had tonight.

I would never go back to an Olive Garden restaurant again if this had been my first experience. We had come to celebrate a birthday party and it seemed to me that the wait staff was as incompetently and as insensitively trained as possible. The dish I ordered was inedible and stayed on the table, pushed away, until we left. The menus were never removed. Everyone was served ice cream from the birthday menu except for me, because there were no vegetarian options on the birthday menu and I was told to order from the menu. So every guest was served ice cream except me. The manager shrugged when our complaints were addressed to him. The sales manager in training offered emotional support, but nothing else. We waited 35 minutes after arriving for water to be served, and thats only because my father got up to find a waiter. 45 minutes for breadsticks. The salad was served minus the grated cheese until we were practically finished eating the salad. The uneaten food was left on the table along with the menus for the entire time. Refills for drinks and salads were never offered; we had to seek the wait staff. The food was mediocre at best; mine was inedible; my mother had to send hers back. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We called ahead because according to the website if you have over seven people, you should call ahead. The restaurants personnel were completely indifferent and we called the HQs to discuss the "accepted approach". The HQ (think it is Berdans) apologized profusely, stating they had no idea why that units personnel were so disinterested. We explained it was my sons birthday and HE likes Olive Garden (for me the restaurant it is overly noisy and totally chaotic) but hey it was HIS birthday. Well we arrived at 5:00 p.m. as arranged and were told we wouldnt be seated until EVERYONE arrived, and despite telling them that we were all there, they ignored us for a half-hour, requiring the dozen of us to stand in a busy area where patrons were entering and exiting. As we stood there, I telephoned Centenis in North Arlington who assured us they could seat us immediately (better food too!) so we all left! Personally, Olive Garden never held any attraction for me, food is just so-so, and the service is iffy at best! I am hoping my son will see it as no big deal one day.....we did have a great time at Centenis.
