A LOT of options to choose from. My husband and I each got specials which included bread-cornbread was really good, soup-broccoli and chicken both really good, salad, entrees and dessert, price was very reasonable. Food was delicious!!!!!! My husband had parmasean shrimp spaghetti, I had the scud. I didnt prefer the taste of the scud, but I feel 100% confident in that it was my personal taste only, quality was great. Loved the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Tons of delicious looking dessert/ breakfast dessert options. Tried banana cream pie, way too bitter for me (my husband checked and he agreed)- they switched it for strawberry chocolate cake with cheesecake which was delicious.Husband had carrot cake which was really good too. Server was new, but she was fantastic and welcoming!!! Only suggestion for me would be maybe changing side salad (which was very fresh) but again this is just personal taste. It had greens, tomatoes, shredded carrots, purple onion and cucumber. I dont care for purple onion or cucumber. I dont mind carrots as much as long as I have other options. But that was something very small!!! Very fantastic meal, one of the best we have had in Jersey!!!

Came here for dinner with my family. My sister begged us to go. First and last time listening to her for dinner suggestion. I got a rodeo burger which consisted of fried onions, bacon, bbq, and tomato. Found it odd it had no cheese on it. Not to mention the "fried" onions completely covered my burger and I had a DROP of BBQ sauce on the burger.My grandmother got an open faced roast beef sandwhich and her meat was gray colored. The only thing good that we had were the chicken tenders, fries, salad, and french toast. They do excellent breakfast but for anything else dont do it!! My server Stephen was excellent and did such an excellent job!!!!

Fastest service Ive ever had. The turnaround for our meals was 4 mins, the waiters are straight and to the point. The bus boys bussed tables just as fast as they could be filled. The food quality is good and what Id expect for a diner this size. Has browns arent fantastic, but the service and speed make this a must for someone on the run. The menu has the standard Greek items, burgers, wraps, what you would expect from a Jersey diner.

Great service good food. I only ate there twice and I thought the food was good. I did however have the tropical crepe, for me personally it was too sweet. If you arent a fan of very sweet stuff I dont suggest you get it. I got shorts tack (pancakes) and requested fresh blueberry. They didnt taste fresh honestly. Ive made fresh blueberry pancakes so I could tell the difference. However I still enjoyed the food. Would eat there again.

Terrible food even worse waitresses. Never had such an ignorant server in my life ,rude, telling us what we could and couldnt order due to inconveniencing her and then joked around with another server in front of us about her bad reviews and complaints called in on her and refused and admitted that was the reason she wouldnt tell us her name. Just by my experience there I can see why all these places surrounding are shut down.

The bacon was flat as paper my plate was so warped it would spin in circles every time I tried to get a bite..lol..I had two eggs and cornbeef hash was like 7.50..a side of bacon 5bucks not good either..My wife had a waffle and two eggs 7.50..and a side of sausage 5 bucks..side of strawberries 5bucks not even ripe..one coffee two orange juices 40 bucks.....totally unsatisfied..didnt feel well for most of the rest of the day..

I asked for a buger well done. They didnt cook it well at all, I sent it back.....they took my burger and put it back in the grill, bring my plate back with the same fries I had previously. How did I know, they had the ketchup on them still. Nice and cold #Yuck They serve their drinks in the smallest glasses ever full of ice. $30 for 2 burgers and a chocolate shake, not worth it at all.

I worked here when it was the Absecon Diner in the hay day of Atlantic City. I have to admit I love what they did. The restaurant, food, and service has been beyond awesome every time Ive been here, regardless of time of day. As an ex-server Im not easily impressed by most places and servers (just ask my children lol). I highly recommend this diner and I look forward to more meals here.

Incredible dont judge a book by its cover all though soda only get one refill come on now! Theres no reason for an additonal soda charge for a refill on a fountin soda.. But the food was outstanding prices not to shabby other then the soda issue.. server we was decent she was no help with the quality of the dishes as she stated she doesnt eat anything from there!

The manager lady with the short hair was a complete jerk to me today. There was a mix up with the seating order and when I asked about it, she basically called me a liar and was incredibly rude about the whole mix up. So much so that I actually walked out. We used to stop here every year while visiting Atlantic City. Not anymore!!

ABSOLUTE BEST SCRAPPLE IN ABSECON, NJ. Coming from Iceland, we drove all throughout the East Coast searching for the most delightful SCRAPPLE, and I think our journey has come to an end, for we have discovered the supreme SCRAPPLE. Eggs and SCRAPPLE. Pancakes and SCRAPPLE. MMMM SCRAPPLE. 1 star too much light.

My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast on our weekend getaway to AC and we were not disappointed. The service was really fast, the food was standard diner food (for a good diner), and the price was low. We got eggs, ham & sausage, toast, and fries and walked away stuffed and happy :) Highly recommended.

Looking for somewhere to eat outside of AC found this lovely gem in Absecon... Service was outstanding, food was great and although we arrived an hour before closing they didnt miss a step.Again both service and food were outstanding..... They didnt rush us and they were very attentive. Beautiful diner!

On our way back from AC ...decided to stop here for brunch ...WOW!! We got breakfast and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious !! The pancakes ..the French toast ..the eggs. ..even the hasbrowns ..portion size was also very generous. ...we are very full very happy ..will definitely be back

What a great diner right outside of Atlantic City. I had the french toast with bacon and it was fantastic. The menu is filled with tons and tons of things to eat from breakfast to main course dinners. A must try if you need some food when u leave the city...

I had the short stack with bacon and my new hubby had scrambled eggs, home fries and sausage. Left happy, content and full but not grossly over stuffed. AND out waitress was the biggest sweetheart ever! Definitely coming back because we saved it in the GPS!

Stopped in for dinner on a couples weekend getaway in the AC area. We werent looking for anything too fancy but wanted good food and atmosphere. We found what we were looking for and were very happy with everything at The Phoenix Diner.
