The best diner ever. I have been going to another diner called peppercorn in Summit. This is better. I am becoming a regular there. I have been going there for only about two months every Monday and Wednesday before my train. Their restaurant has always been packed, but I have never missed my train. Its the best food I have had EVER! I will keep coming back for that delicious sausage. If you order what I order, you will have the best meal ever. I order Two scrambled eggs, sausage, and taylor ham. No toast, no hash browns. Just protein with energy to last you all day. If you used to go here and stopped because it was dirty and unfriendly (like I did) give it a second try. I did just that and it went from the worst food I have ever ate to the best. I made a vow in 2006 that I would NEVER go back to this place. My first visit of 2015 proved that my vow was a horrible mistake.

Im a little picky, so its difficult to get 5 stars out of me. However, the price is definitely right, for being able to watch the food prepared right in front of you. The only thing that I will complain about today is the pancakes. Its rare I get pancakes, but when I do it like them to taste like something other than a roofing shingle. They need to change their mix, or something, because the pancakes I had are lacking flavor. It was horrible. I only ate them because I was hungry, but I will never eat pancakes there again unless they change the mix. So, when you order, get one pancake, try it, and if you like it get two more. But, if you dont, tell them why youre not getting more, and perhaps theyll change their mix.

Sat down had full view in the back and to the grill watched the grill guy handling rolls and cheese about to be plated with no gloves....then noticed the old man in the back make a chicken salad again no gloves at all even when he grabbed and cut up the fresh cooked chicken then I watched him pull out a side order of roast beef from who knows where...smell it to see if it was still good cuz it deff looked suspiciously and then put that on a plate mind you still with no gloves on and send this out to a table I got up and walked out....

Ive eaten here before they moved locations and I liked it so much better when they had the small shop. It seems like since theyve moved to the bigger restaurant, quality has gone down. I really like the kimchi jigae here and I still like their current one but the soup base seems to have less taste than they used to make it like. I have so many better choices when it comes to korean food in queens. I might or might not come back but if you want a place to get a variety of korean food for decent price, this is the price to go.

This place is disgusting. Its dirty, small, they dont have no menus for you to look at (only dry erase boards behind the counter). We observed the cook deep-fry something so that it appears crispy on the outside and then stick it in the microwave to finish it off. The guy who mans the cash register was the same one who was preparing the salads, without gloves. To top it off, we found a piece of brown gunk in our iced tea. Took one sip and it tasted like fish. Horrible.

Im mystified by these good reviews. Went in around 8pm on a Friday with my 9 year old daighter. The cook was our waiter and he was rude, was cursing loudly, and was generally an unpleasant person. The omlette was less than average. The potatoes clearly had bacon even though I had stated I was vegetarian. We were rushed out by turning off of secondary lights, stares, etc. In top of that, the place itself is less that sanitary.

We stopped on saturday morning june 24th on way to philly. Family of 6. We sat right under the 32 ford painting. Great service, great food. We came back through tonight in hopes of stopping again only to find out that you closed at 4 so we took in another local restaurant down the street. Was not a royalty dinner. We will gladly stop here again if we come through again. Thanks for the service and hope the waitress had a great day

After a long overnight flight from Las Vegas, this place was just what I needed. I ordered crisp bacon and was genuinely surprised to get crisp bacon, and lots of it. The entire meal was wonderful. The place itself was a wonderful setting. It must be greatly enjoyed by the community as it was full when my son and I walked in. However, it was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

First of all you should know - cash only! The Taylor Ham, egg and cheese is my go-to, and if Ive remembered to bring my own maple syrup Ill get the enormous pancakes (This is my only complaint is the lack of real maple syrup). Small, but adorable. Its like time hasnt touched this place. Highly recommend.

This is a classic greasy-spoon diner. Good, honest, solid food quick. If you want a show sit at the bar on a weekend morning. It is a classic diner from the 20s so if you are into architecture or history, youve got that going too. Fun Place!

Lots of character in this place. Its like you have been taken back in a time machine! The food is excellent, the prices reasonable, and the service is outstanding. I always come here when I visit my friends in nearby Springfield.

Disappointed. We traveled to try this recommended diner, only to discover NO HANDICAPPED ACCESS. It made sense, since it is a historic structure, but a heads-up in our search results online would have saved a lot of effort.

Good and fast food. Quirky old diner with maybe 5 booths and a row of counter seats. Coffee was good, bacon egg and cheese sandwich came out fast. The place has character! Staff is friendly. Will come again!

Staff were not friendly and did not even offer us a glass of water (or check if we wanted a refill on our drinks). The food was not impressive, or at least not enough to make up for the unpleasant waitress.

Our go-to breakfast spot! Food is simply amazing! Small cozy place with one waitress in refurbished trailer! The cooks are friendly! If you are only 2, eat at the counter for the complete experience!
