After going here for a late breakfast today....I realize why the 5 stars on yelp! :) Everything I had was delicious! :) I was hungry and EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING sounded delicious on their menu. ;) so many choices! Lol The ambiance was what u would expect....no booths but it felt like diner to me. :) very cute and very cozy. :) The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. I hate it when the waitstaff hovers over u. The staff was there whenever I needed them but they did not intrude on my time with my friend. So it was good to be able to talk without being constantly interrupted. :) Now onto the food. I was hungry so I ordered a little bit of everything. Lol Grits were delicious! Totally made this southern girls day! Creamy with just the right amount of salt to season it. They offered me extra butter for it and come on butter makes everything better! Lol Biscuits and gravy...seriously one of the best Ive had it was soooo good....just thinking about it makes me want to eat it again. Im drooling just thinking about it. ;) Corned beef and hash...I love love corned beef....lol I got the hashbrowns extra crispy based off the the reviews that I read on yelp and they did not disappoint. It was crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. Yummilicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the corned beef was delicious. They left it on the griddle long enough for the corned beef to build texture so it was melt in your mouth in the middle mixed with crunchy from the bits from the edges that were perfectly browned on the edges. In other words YES I will definitely be back. The other breakfast places better watch out....cuz Mr. Mamas is gonna be stealing some customers! Lol

From Southeast FL, (MIA, FLL), a place that spoiled me in terms of it being nearly impossible to find a bad restaurant, living across the river from Louisville (know before you eat) the last 5 years, i worked for all but 4 months of 2015 in Vegas. A block from where i stay mr. Mammas opened, moving from some other part of vegas to near spring valley. At the time i remember them empty all the time. I went every morning once i ventured in. A year and a half and im back. I walked in and saw a signup sheet and tgought..uh oh...bet they have new prices to go with that. Nope. Same excellent food, same generous portions, same reasonable prices, and same friendly service despite that i was a single customer taking an entire table during their busy hour. Mr. Mammas is my breakfast place in Las Vegas.

well first let me say the food was amazing soup an sandwich was awesome my wife had he denver omelette an the kids had pancakes but one of the managers named PAT was scolding an employee really loud an being really unprofessional let me start by saying this women should never be allowed to talk to anyone like that an having her as one of your managers is not good for your business any issue you have with an employee take the employee in the back never embarass an employee or behave like that in front of customers its unprofessional an we dont want to hear it the only reason i stopped my wife from going off on her is that why lower her to pats standards , you have built something nice here i will never be back as long as pat is there but dont let one manager kill your business it can happen

This place is the best. As soon as I stepped out of the car one of the owners had the door wide open and greeted me with a friendly smile. The atmosphere is great and the owners are very involved and kind to their staff... and then I ordered food. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. They know all the tricks. Potatoes were boiled a bit before they were fried. Crispy on the outside but as soft as a cloud on the inside. I have my eggs over easy. They did that perfectly too. The whites were firm and the yolk was the perfect match for that sausage gravy. You could tell just by that the place does things consistently... and at the end of all that my bill was a faction of what you would pay for anything of even half the quality over at the strip. Definitely recommend.

Ever since we found this place about 5 years ago, our trips to Vegas have never been the same. You can go anywhere in Vegas with excellent food (which they have) but what keeps us going back is the service. Everyone who enters is welcomed with a friendly greeting and everyone is treated as if they were family. My boyfriend and I are not from Las Vegas but that doesnt stop them from treating us so kindly. Not to mention, THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING. So, if youre looking for a place that has the best food in Las Vegas, with the best service, and the most friendly people youll ever meet, what are you waiting for? Hop in your car and get your happy a** down to Mr. Mamas. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Awesome food, but what makes it #1 is the service....youre greeted as you enter and thanked as you leave. While starting on my breakfast, I overheard the table behind me say she didnt like the way her veggie omlette was runny...in reply, the server explained that it couldve been because the vegetables sweat even after theyre cooked, and then proceeded to say, "but what else can I do to make YOU happy maam"... She then walked to the kitchen and brought the customer out a FRESH plate of scrambled eggs. I nearly fell out my chair... A MUST do again...traveling from the 808 state, it was refreshing to hear and witness that kind of ALOHA on the 9th island, Las Vegas.

I am giving this place 1 star due to the fact the owner spent more time at our table telling us fake stories and would not get the hint that we would like to eat our food while its hot he went on an on an on an on an patting him self in the back , its always nice to see a manager or asst manager come around to your table to see if everything is ok but no hand around for 20 minutes the owner of this establishment thinks that part of the mr mamas experience is listening to stories of the history of his family or whatever . if you happen to read this your food is great service is great but stop hovering over peoples tables its creepy and annoying

What makes a local diner a Five Star success..... A Great owner, awesome employees and food that makes you feel at home. Theres more to Vegas than buffets and happy hour specials...... The food at Mr. Mamas is just that damn good, it will make you wonder why your still standing in a buffet line. The biscuits and gravy were off the hook, with plenty of sausage and bacon in the gravy that its a meal in itself. The chicken fried steak was nice and crispy but still fork tender..... ....And the biscuits....forget about it!!!! They "broke da mouth". Do yourself a favor....Leave the bright lights behind and visit Mr. Mamas...

Mr. MAMA ("Fake Michigander") himself started out nice, but when there was a problem with how his " Manager" treats the staff and patrons the nice guy act ends. My friends and I were enjoying our meals one of us sent back an incorrect order. She had to wait and wait for her order to be corrected. She felt it should be discounted for her trouble. The Manager comes out of and say "I thought this would happen". What! Then he snatches her plate of food from the table as she took a bite. Then he tells the waitress she would be paying for it in front of the entire restaurant. So terrible and uncalled for. The food was so-so.
