Our sever was great! He was a bit of a retired factotum. He was polite, and genuine. The food is always A+. The shellfish I had today was sub par, not because of how the chefs prepared it, but because of freshness. The mussels were awful, straight smelly ocean. Now, because Ive eaten around Montana I was not suprised, and getting poor quality fish happens. I wouldnt let that discourage anybody from eating here, it didnt me. Not in the slightest. Rather I hope to help dictate what people choose to order. If you need further convincing walk in and look at the wine selection. Order the sampler of babaganush, hummus, and olive tapenade with a glass of wine. Awesome.

If I could give it no stars I would. My Caesar salad tasted like fish! My lasagna was so burnt I couldnt even cut through it, not that you could see it because it was drenched in sauce, and there had to be a pound of salt on it. I requested no mushrooms and found them in my dish. When we told the waitress, she admitted that the cook put them on but she asked them to remove them, thank god Im only mildly allergic. My daughters pizza was raw and they didnt even have a cup for her to drink from. Based on the price I expected really good food but it ended up being the WORST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!

Great for food allergies! They have an extensive menu, and over half of it is gluten-free. Not only that, they were able to accomodate our many other food allergies as well. And the best part was that we all loved the food! At other restaurants, we get plain grilled meat with plain veggies and dry rice. But at the Mediterranean Grill, we got marinated meat, seasoned potatoes, and tasty veggies. The chicken curry soup was amazing, and my daughter loved the lentil soup. It is the best allergy-friendly meal weve had in a long, long time! Its too bad we are only passing through Helena.

High hopes but ended with disappointment. The food prep is very slow and quality is on par with casino food. Might not be that high. Got to the restaurant at 11:30 And were seated promptly. Only about 4 tables of patrons. My group of 6 placed our order quickly...about 10 minutes. Then it began...waited 30 minutes to be told our food was being "plated". Waited another 20 min. When asked the status wait staff informed me I was only waiting 24 minutes...REALLY. it is loud..hear everyones conversations and staff is rude...my visit was on a Thurs...imagine a weekend?

Food, yes. Service, hell yes. I walked in 5 minutes after closing (not realizing it), starving. Most everything food-wise in Helena closes 9-10pm, so i was stuck. The host insisted that i stay and that the kitchen was still open. I got excellent food, but the service was what stood out. Even though i was a total PITA keeping them there past close (sorry guys!), I was treated with the utmost friendliness and very attentive service. If you are in Helena, this is absolutely worth a visit.

Not really a takeout restaurant but I did. The staff were all fantastic, the host was very welcoming and while I was waiting even pulled out my chair and brought water without asking. The chefs were all very friendly and helpful in deciding what to eat. And the food was fast out of the kitchen as well. The Souvlaki was absolutely delicious!! A bit pricey but worth it for great healthy food at 9:15pm in Helena.

I am ten years old with celiac disease and I went to the Mediterranean Grill and I loved it! The waitresses are very nice, they helped me decide what I wanted to have and it wasn’t a long wait. They offer you drinks when you wait for your food and all there gluten free things have no cross contamination. I got to try stuffed grape leaves and salad. I hope I can go back soon!!!

While I havent been threatened like the previous reviewer, I also cant say the service is fantastic either. Once we were stuck waiting to be seated at the door for maybe 10 minutes while employees just walked by and wouldnt take our names. That was bizarre. I enjoy the food there, but would prefer The Windbag (only a short walking distance away) for a fancier night out.

I drive over often from Missoula to visit old friends and lunch at MG is the highlight of the visit. Their Turkish beer (Efsa) is outstanding and the owner, a Muslim, is a poster child for how wonderful 99 percent of the Muslim immigrants really are. When I visited Turkey, several years ago, I was most impressed with their people, their culture and their food.

Traditional mediterranean food is good - I love the souvlaki. Not a place to go if youre looking for pasta - you can get better pasta for a lot less money elsewhere. Its a little pricey but a nice place to go every now and then. Great wine list and theres nothing better on a summer evening than sitting on the patio for dinner with a glass of wine.

A Wonderful surprise! We stopped here today on a drive from Missoula to Billings. We had the Sunday brunch and it was amazing. The hummus, soups, salads, baklava, and fresh fruits were all delicious. If we didnt live 2,000 miles away, we would visit here often. Friendly and prompt service too!

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Lasagna was the best I have ever had. Only negative was I was dining alone as was the patron at the next table. The only time we saw the server was when she delivered our meals. We had to flag her down to get our checks and they really werent all that busy.

Worst dining experience ever. Live beetle crawled up out of my salad while I was eating it. Totally lost appetite, showed waiter and told him not to bring entree. Manager got very defensive, did not apologize and expected me to PAY for the meal I did not eat.

We had one of the best dinners ever. Four of us shared two dinners and had plenty. The other four each had different entrees and were very happy. It took a little time as everything is cooked to order, but was worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Very nice atmosphere. Good service. Food is excellently prepared and presented. The Greek salad was a little disappointing for the price. But the bread was amazing. Pizza was very flavorful. The appetizer sampler was worth every penny.

The food was amazing and our waiter was very fast with drinks and he was knowledgeful of the menu. Its pretty expensive so Im pretty sure that was a one time dining experience but very good never the less.

Everything I have ever tried here is beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delicious. Try some of the more unusual Turkish dishes -- theyre amazing. I like that the owner came out and talked to us.
