We just had a 4 generation experience at "Los". Our sweet Momma passed away a year ago at the age of 94. She owned "Camelback Janitorial Supply Store" just north of Los for several years and then my sister and her hubby bought it and several of our children worked there. Long story short all Momma had to say was Im going to "Los" and all the children and grandchildren would come out of the woodwork to get down there and enjoy her company and eat lots of great food. Now our children are grown and have children of their own and "Los" has become a family tradition. If they fly into town and only have a stop over for an hour or two they call me I go into "Los" pick up what they want, drive to Sky Harbor they walk out jump in my car we circle the terminal while they get their "fix of Los" and then I drop them back off and they go in and catch their connecting flight. We had a son fly in yesterday from SLC and another son with his family drive in from New Mexico straight to "Los" to eat (before going to get ready for a special family event being held today for our daughter & her family) so every body drove from all over from Temple, Gilbert, Peoria, Glendale and Phoenix to meet and reconnect where our memories are so strong. We love the people at "Los", Mary was our first love there and others have continued thru the years. Thanks for the memories "Los" you are THE BEST!!!!!

Great place to enjoy a lunch or dinner with your significant other or make arrangements with your bros or girlfriends to meet up and have some terrific margaritas especially when you order the pitchers. My suggestion on the menu is the polla fundillo...my spelling might be off so I apologize...its in the the slope area so if your not accustomed to that area then you need to get out of scottsdale live a little.. And please if you plan on drinking dont drive.. Some of these cabbies around the valley are pretty interesting and hella funny looking so call them..I mean no disrespect my unc drove a taxi so I was just giving him a shot out.

Had not been in this restaurant in 50 years. Remember as a child parents always coming here. My wife and I came today and found the staff to be extremely cheerful helpful and professional. Food is better than I remembered and the servings are outrageously large. Was full with just the chips salsa and cheese crisp. Highly recommend 4 anyone looking for a great authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. You wont be disappointed.

Lets review... I ordered from GrubHub and the food came to me very stale and it was obviously left out for a few hours. When I called to discuss this with the manager calmly, he proceeded to scream at me and use foul language. He refused to do anything about the stale food and so did Grub hub. I dont know who your manager is on Saturday nights but he needs to be fired immediately for talking to customers so disrespectfully

I went with some friends on Sunday. 2 of our 5 orders were wrong. The food is over-priced compared to other restaurants in Phoenix. Their menu is okay, but they dont have much in the way of meals, so you end up ordering everything a la carte. And after an $8 lunch, I still had to pull over to McDonalds and order a Big Mac. Thats how ridiculously small their portions are. I dont see how they stay in business.

I have gone to many Mexican-American restaurants and this by far is the WORST one. The rice was super dry and had no flavor whats so ever, the carne asada was flavorless as well, we ordered a fajita salad and it had too many black olives. Basically, I had a terrible experience and will never ever go back! I gave it 2 stars because I did like their chips, not the salsa.... JUST THE CHIPS!

The place used to be a good place to eat but their food was cold didnt taste anything like what I used to remember thats only a year ago its almost like they changed hands or maybe they lost their chef. And it took a long time to get our food and beverages other customers had to come tell us that I ordered was up I dont know if I ever go back but Ill give him another try

I discovered Los Compadres thirty years ago. The quality of their food has never changed. It is still excellent. Order the cheese crisp for an appetizer. Dont forget to put a generous helping of hot sauce on everything. Los Compadres is the best little hole in the wall restaurant you will ever find.

Ive been coming her since I was nine. The food is always good. My go to comfort meal is a cheese crisp with guacamole. I will eat the entire thing by myself. The service isnt stellar, but its not like they are rude..... If its busy they are all business, if its slower theyll chat.

I SUGGEST YOU NEVER GO TO THIS DUMP! I FOUND A ROACH IN MY CHIMMICHANGA. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY SO I HAD TO CHASE DOWN THE MANGER IN THE BACK THATS WHEN I SPOTTED TWO MORE ROACHES RUNNING THROUGH THE KITCHEN. THIS PLACE IS INFESTED.

located right in the heart of Melrose, this location is one of those homes converted into a business. Dont be fooled by the drab appearance, all of the work goes into the Food, which is awesome.

Our family has been eating at Los for generations. Birthdays, Mothers Days and date nights weve celebrated it all here! The best Mexican food in town. Small line at lunch moves quickly.

I dont why this place gets anything more than 1 star, the food is not that good. The rice tastes like the rice from the frozen dinners disgusting.

Love the food, love the prices, love the people. My go to here is the shredded beef Mexican pizza, it is big enough to share and come away full.

Authentic Mexican food at a fair price with good service. Classic "hole-in-the-wall" with all of the winning options available on the menu.

Service is mediocre as is the décor but the food is always on point. Get anything with green or red chile and you will be glad you did.
