I love this restaurant! Every time I visit they surprise me with something really amazing. I have been looking for a good fish sandwich, since Red Chair is always good, I decided to try theirs today. SO GLAD I DID!! It is a nice big piece of cod, perfectly battered paired with dilly tartar sauce, red onion and sweet pickles. Perfection on a bun. Paired with their always great fries, its a Friday lunch to make any Catholic happy :) Make sure you ask for the special ketchup to dip in. I usually lunch there but happy hour and dinner has bonus tasty specialty cocktails. Try the Philly Steak sandwich special. Im hoping it becomes a regular menu item.

Just had dinner with a company party this evening at Red Chair. Decided the "Red Chair Burger" with pastrami sounded unique. It was fantastic. Great flavor and concept. The best part was the fact that they actually cooked the burger medium rare like I asked. Restaurants always ask but rarely deliver on that. The sweet potato waffle fries were awesome as well. Nice to see sweet potato fries that are actually crispy. We tried the wings such were pretty tasty as well. Andrea served our group and did a great job with our group of about twenty. My first time cant be my last! Very impressed.

Good food, but bad staff from my experience. First time I was in I had to remind the waitress three times for a cup of coffee. The food took over an hour. The second time I was in the waitress was very unfriendly, didnt ask how we were or anything. She took our order without saying a word. Never came back to refill water until the meal was there (about an hour again). Once meal arrived she never checked to see if we needed anything else or came to refill coffee or water. Good food but bad service so far.

The red chair is a modern cafe/resturaunt where you can get coffee and lunch or dinner....however it can be a bit confusing...we went there to study, and unless you stick to the rather small downstairs area, it is not the greatest place to just study and get a cup of coffee. However the upstairs is very nice and features a beautiful outdoor seating area with some nice views of the valley...and they have really great food and courteous staff! I just feel the little espresso bar is a bit out of place.

I frequent Red Chair, and its a great place if youre set on visiting the west side of town. I live on the west side, so its great if your want a drink and some food without leaving your "zone", but other reviewers are right on when they say its overpriced for what you get. That said, if you sit at the bar, the service is dialed in and Id recommend it. If you get a table, the service isnt great...but considering its the only place with a full bar serving food on the west side, its totally great.

We came in as a party of 20 and were all leaving feeling very happy about our experience here. Andrea (hope I spelled it right) gave us all great service and the food was spot on. I had the steak and fries and loved it from the first bite. Sweet Potato Fries are a MUST. Even from our table downstairs the view of the sunset was amazing tonight. For a drop-in party of 20, we were very impressed.

The food is really good but the service is horrible!! Was in on a Wednesday night and the place was mildly busy. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table even though there were many empty when we arrived. Food was taking a bit for our order of 2 people, waitress said she would check and after 40 minutes after no return from her we had to go up to the bar, pay our drinks and leave without dinner.

My husband and I dine frequently at Red Chair as its a great neighborhood restaurant. Owner John and his wait staff provide excellent service. We like to try the new items on the menu and most recently tried the Pasta Diane and I have to say I always favored Pedros Pasta at Ale Works but now my favorite pasta dish while dining out is the Pasta Diane at Red Chair.

Decent food thats overpriced and pretentious. Nice location with views. Very little like this on the west side. The original restaurant that was here was similarly afflicted, only moreso. Id come here more if it was priced for the caliber of establishment it is. There are better restaurants and more reasonably priced, so this is a very low priority place.

While the food is good and the views are amazing, some deficiencies make this place hard to love. The food is expensive, the restaurant not particularly comfortable, and the strange amount of services offered (drive through coffee, high end restaurant, normal restaurant, and sports bar) make this place seem overplanned and under-thought.

Great coffee and cool second-story bar. The burgers are classic and delicious. The atmosphere feels like an airport bar. A bit out of the way for a Bozeman restaurant but the neighborhood is growing. The service Ive experienced has remained patient even under potentially stressful circumstances such as mixed up tabs and returned orders.

Not my favorite. Really tiny menu, they dont tell you gluten free options are available on the menu nor do they tell you they cost more. Its a little pricey for the quantity and taste. On the upside its a beautiful place in a nice location and the staff are nice

Love the food, the friendly and professional atmosphere, and the people working here. If you want a fun experience with an unmatched view of the Bridgers, come here and see what I mean. You wont be disappointed. The coffee is also some of the best in town.

Awesome views from the second floor, with lovely outdoor deck seating in warm weather. Good breakfast, good lunch and dinner. Full bar and coffee shop mean a wide variety of drinks on offer. I like the Eggs Benedict and the turkey sandwich.

Went there for the first time today... Had tasty homemade pretzels as an appetizer and a really good burger for the meal. Service was great and fast, and atmosphere was fun. Sat upstairs so had a great view. Definitely a new fav.

Nice view, great sweet potato fries, but the chicken was horrible. It was not lemon and herb at all, super dry and looked very cheap. It seemed too gamey and not worth 19$. First time and it was very disappointing.

Excellent food , except the fish and chip, dont get me wrong Id enjoy another dinner here especially local cheeseburgers. Chanci was the best server Ive had in Bozeman fyi management. Plenty of great beer too.

Great food and mimosas, though service can be dreadfully slow once you get your initial order. Drink orders just after you get food can arrive once youre about to finish, making them a bit moot.

Great food, even better beer, and wonderful staff. Roadhouse burger was cooked perfectly to order. Nitro Porter was smooth and Smokey. Sit upstairs and you get a great view.

Boiler plate upper middle class sports bar motif with a great view of the Bridger and a slightly overpriced menu with nothing exciting. Great service experience, though.

I LIKE this place!!! Great eggs benny, the hollandaise sauce is just perfect. And their espresso might be the best in town! Great atmosphere. Its become my Sunday go-to.

Great coffee, great pastries, so its great in the morning. Its also a great bar in the evening with a beautiful view. Lunch and dinner, however is pretty average.
