I eat here almost once a week. Try to sit in Zekes section if possible - hes da bomb! Food is always good - consistently! Owner Kim is friendly and quite open. Today, I had the..." all your party has to be here..." treatment. Being MLK Day it was crazy busy, sent one son to put our name on the list so the wait wouldnt be so long for six. I do understand the policy and get the whole wait thing. I did finally get the waiter to seat us outside (4 empty tables waited for patrons) - cold but then my son could bring his dog. My son was waiting to hear about the patio before coming with the dog...hence the lecture about waiting for the whole party - once he had already seated us. My son, girlfriend and dog showed within 4 minutes of being seated. It still took another 15 before he took our order and another 45 to get the food - well worth the wait of course. Perhaps a sign at the sign in list MIGHT (and might not) help alleviate the lecture from already hectic and overwhelmed wait staff or perhaps a hostess to make that "lecture" easier to swallow. As often as I eat here I was not aware of the full party policy. I will continue to eat here. Its in my neighborhood, I can walk here and I love to support local businesses. Congrats to Baja Cafe - Campbell - it appears you have arrived!! YUMMMMM!

Just adding to the accolades. Since I was a college student 35 years ago, I have loved breakfast restaurants - any and all kinds that had snappy service, quality comfort food, and coffee. The Baja delivers these - big time. I have visited both Baja cafes, and you get the same great food at each location and both provide comfortable, enjoyable, but distinct vibes. The Baja on Campbell is an intoxicating, modern vision of the classic breakfast diner. Busy, with a touch of hipster cool, but not so much that you drown in the irony. The menu has all that you want - all that you need. And then some. The vast array of different forms of Eggs Benedict is awe inspiring, creative, tasty, and filling. I have only had 3 or 4 different types of the Benedicts (all really good), but now that I have tried the HOMEMADE corned beef hash, I have found my go to brekky here. High quality beef brisket and caramelized onions, over hash browns. Add the secret sauce, drop a couple poached eggs on top and you are golden. Ab Fab. Oh. And the coffee is really good.

Its impossible to date any of the breakfast places in Tucson without comparing to the other excellent choices around town- Blue Willow, Bobos, or Prep and Pastry to make a few. And in thats sense, Baja Cafe is just as good as any of the others, which is saying something. However, despite the obvious similarities, Baja Cafe sets it self apart in its excellent food and unassuming atmosphere. Where other places might mean a bit to heavily on the hipster vibe, Baja Cafe demonstrates it true strength in the food. Every time weve gone the menu has been rightly different, and Ive yet to have a meal I didnt absolutely love. There are plenty of very good places to eat breakfast, but its easy to recommend Baja Cafe over others.

I think this is the best breakfast place Ive been to. The menu looked so appetizing, it was hard to pick and the things I tried were delicious. I tried the King Kong Stack the first time - a delicious overload on very tasty meats (the bacon in particular was mighty tasty). Today I tried the Point Guard U and while the sauce on this one wasnt necessarily my favorite, the dish overall had lots of great flavor. My wife had a special called the Antidote that had wonderfully tender pieces of steak with asparagus and egg and a sauce that complemented it wonderfully. Its probably a good thing I dont live in Tucson, because Id probably get fat coming here too often.

Ive been eating at Baja for well over a year now, first at the Broadway location and now at the Campbell location. I go every Tuesday and as often as I can on other days. I am challenged every time to resist the daily specials which are always creative and delicious. Im amazed by the creativity that goes into their Benedicts. My favorite is the Wolverine, but one could hardly go wrong with any of them. The wait staff is first-rate, even when challenged by the busy room, especially on weekends. There is nowhere else in Tucson I would rather go for breakfast and I urge everyone who hasnt tried it to do so. Keep up the good work guys!

Food is amazing. Servers are all super chill. The only thing that irks me is the seating policy i guess? Checked in, ran over ro ross (which i told the hostess i was doing) and left the bf to listen for our name. They call it, he said i was currently walking back from ross and they told him nope! Everyone has to be here. The hostess didnt say "if you go to ross we cant seat you if youre not here". We waited an extra 15 minutes for a table that we could have already had. Hostess was pretty snarky about it. I thought it was a little ridiculous. The food is good enough to keep coming back though. ;)

Good Food, Bad Policies!! Went once got sat down although we were waiting for 2 others!! Today, We (2) checked in waiting for 1 person, although there was 4 empty tables for 4 we were told we may wait at the bar, WTH! Now they mention the whole part HAS to be here. Wait...because they want us ordering!! Did they think we were going to sit and order nothing!! Breakfast, HELLO, coffee, rum & Eggnog drink, look at Menu. They even sat 2 people on a table of 4 chairs!!! Baja Cafe...Be Nice!! No one is there not to order!! Sit People down, its Christmas! We had lots of Money and Time and Friends!!

I was a little hesitant to go here because previous restaurants at this location didnt do so well. However, my experience was great. The place itself was packed but the wait to be seated wasnt too bad. The wait for food was a little long but the taste made up for it. They have a huge selection of eggs benedict, my favorite breakfast food. I ordered The Classic and they were delicious! The hollandaise sauce had great flavor, the eggs were poached to perfection and the overall price was better than I expected! Ill definitely go back.

I have been here many times, and always have great food and service. I got the Pecan Roll Pancake and a side of Chipotle Bacon. Excellent and I had to bring home half of the pancake it was so big. We sat on the patio (it was 7 AM and cool enough to do so) because we had our dog with us. The waiter brought a dog bowl of water for the dog without being asked. He was attentive even though we were the only customers outside. Baja Cafe is my favorite breakfast place in Tucson.
