I dont understand negative reviews on this place, me and my girl friend go here every month to every other month just to spend some time together and enjoy a meal out. The choices on the buffet are huge compared to any other buffet Ive been to in the area. Sky Dragon is Rochester, MN is truly the best if your in their area goto them but back to this place. So many choices from fried chicken, to little clams, to mussells, shrimp, sushi (which my friend complained some of which werent fresh, but shes a complaining finicky freak so, not sure on that, the pieces I had always were and its made right there that day, unlike supermarket sushi that sits for who knows how long and she loves that stuff. They have make your own plates and they will cook it up right in front of you. Note: be ready to tip those guys cooking up in front of you meals and sushi a buck if you want, they do have a tip jar there, and I never tip because I only have checks and credit cards, all in all the place is huge the service is impecable, everyones nice and as I said theres so many good dishes to make you more than full that who cares if theres some you dont like someone else will like them and that will be their thing. Costs just under thirty bucks for dinner buffet with no drinks, just water and print off their coupons and get ten percent off meal which should cover the tip pretty much, I usually give the girl three to four bucks. They offer american food as well which is a winner with the kids, the chicken, pizza, and not sure what else but theres a fair amount of stuff. The secret to buffets is very small amounts on a plate dont heap it like a tower, just make small portions to try everything and use many plates on many trips to try it all. Then become a heaper of your favorites. : ) enjoy

The staff is very very very rude i have never had an experience that bad at any restaurant befor. Also some lady went aroumd and just grabbed the soy sauce off of everybodys tables while they were eating and a few otjers commented to us the same experience during our visit so we asked for it baxk and they said no go up to the buffet instead of handing me back the sauce that was on my table!! Then the resr of the time i was there i got dirty looks from the employees they sweep by your feet as you eat too there was no manmers from this place at all even the lady who seats you was very rude and pushy she sat us with no regard to act polite!!! I will never return to this place ever!!! You have been earned about the place visit if you like to be treated like cattle!!!

Pristine-clean. Friendly staff. Nice open space. Very commendable! My girlfriend and I arrived maybe 20 minutes between the lunch and dinner time slots. The food was still piping hot, fresh, and not "leftovers and rubbery meat" that you might expect right before dinner food is brought out. The host (a little old chinese lady with SCREAMING RED dyed hair) was very friendly, and made clear that if we just ate things from the lunch foods, they wouldnt dare charge us for the dinner price-- even if we stayed long enough to be a part of that time slot. How considerate, that really won me over! :) This is now my go-to place for eastern food, definitely a crowd-pleaser! EDIT: Be sure to see the massive, decorative fish tank! So cool! :D

This review is based on about ten years of visits (2-4 times a year) and a visit on 8/28/16. This restaurant has become more and more mediocre over the years. I wont be coming back. Food quality is a huge issue here. Many selections that I had the misfortune of sampling were either cold or looked like theyd been sitting out for hours. Not very clean either. Not a good value for the money, especially on "seafood" days where they occasionally put a few crab legs out and charge everybody extra. Best to avoid this joint.

There was nothing super about this WORLD buffet. Dont let the name fool you. The food was nasty and greasy. The sushi chef didnt even bother to watch wash the green onions before using it in the sushi rolls. I happened to see this when I was getting the ice cream. It made me questions how they prepare the food. Im pretty sure none of the vegetables and fruits were washed before cooking it or serving it. I just cant imagine eating food without washing it first. I will never go there again.

They advertise "seafood buffet with crab legs" on weekends and charge more for the buffet. Weve been here over an hour and they never refilled crab legs. We even asked if they would bring more. They said they fill the crab legs every 30 minutes. Not true. They werent there when we got in, and they were never refilled for an hour weve been there. If they cheat customers and cut corners, I dont know how they prepare other food. Dont go there for seafood buffet. You wont see them.

The food was good but when i realize after ive been eating there for years, until one night before closing at 9;00pm i went to eat in and found out theres crawlers around the dishes...i walked out instantly. Btw i eat and know every dishes looks like or they have there.. to the owner, can you guys stop false ad other peoples dishes and post it in your site and coupons.. your lo meing does not look delicious like the coupons you sent to my address

I like this buffet a lot, I have only been here twice. I live in Minneapolis and I would drive here to eat here. Great food selection and good food quality. They always have the crab pot filled and has big snow crab legs in it. I love the meatballs here a lot too plus the crayfish and sesame chicken is great! I would recommend this place to any buffet lover or anyone who wants to try new food or wants a quick bite!

Just opened after a remodel. They tore the place down and started over. Great new look and the bathrooms has got a total gut job. They look fantastic. Lisa is still running the show with a great smile. Nice to see that they have kept all the old employees. Same great menu with an Greatly improved Sushi bar. Prepared right there in front of you. And they still have the Hibachi grill. Great job it looks great!

Standard stir fry options. good egg rolls. If you like seafood, stay away from the Saturday crab legs. They are boiled and left in the water so they turn to total mush. Youre better off enjoying the shrimp stir fry, peel and eat shrimp or fresh sushi that are available every day at no additional charge. They also have a Mongolian grill where you choose what you like and the chef will make it for you.

I know this place works hard to serve their customers in a fair and consistent way, I have seen positive consistency in the services, however I am disappointed to say I feel ill after eating here, every time. Maybe if the food was fresher and you used less oils and throughly cooked the chicken there would be more of a chance of me coming back. Maybe if it were a little cleaner and smelled better too.
