This place is as good as it could be if you live in St. Louis , MO. Im really glad they have this here. Hope they will stick around and bring in more competitors like them. So St. Louisiana can experience some cultural food. Great job!!! The soup is a bit too salty for my taste. You are missing at least two ingredients in your broth (to my experience...it could be more)...plus you need to simmer it longer. Otherwise the presentation and the amount of food for the cost is worth it. Service is good. Place is clean. Very friendly. Everyone should try them. Sorry, I cant give you more stars. Its because I went to a place like this in San Diego, CA. Its way better and because they have other type of noodles (for substitutes). Its just hard to match that, when you have experience something better. I did come to this place with high expectations. So, I am sorry. As for just in St. Louis standards. You definitely earn 4 1/2 stars.

The food is good. No complaints there. The music is uncomfortably loud. I found myself wanting to leave quickly. It took 22 minutes for my food to be prepared. And $20 for a bowl of ramen takes a little adjustment. Its Clayton, yes, and its not bad ramen, but Im still adjusting to the idea that a $20 bowl of ramen exists at all outside of Manhattan. The place is usually fairly empty. This would be a regular place for me if it were quieter and sightly cheaper--seriously, the music is LOUD. The second point is probably more of a ramen issue--this is supposed to be cheap, quick food. I guess because its a novelty here the owners arent burdened with those expectations. Fair enough, but Id still like to get back to the office reasonably quickly. If you dont go in expecting "ramen" but instead just "food" the value proposition gets better.

The atmosphere is nice and friendly and their is more than a few varieties of Ramen to choose from. Ive tried a few different Ramens from here and the taste leaves more to be desired. The ramen isnt hot most come luke warm and turn cold fast. This doesnt taste like real japanese or korean ramen it is someones twist on it but not a twist that makes you want more. If this was the first place I ever tried real Ramen I would walk out after eating feeling like I would never want to try Ramen again. It is a good atmosphere, I just feel the ramen taste could have been better. I will hope to try it again one day and hope the taste has gone more authentic but this place definitely leaves more to be desired. I personally would not recommend this to any close friends. I would recommend Blue Ocean or Oriental Spoon.

Youll never eat instant Ramen again. I have always wanted to have real Ramen noodles and this place certainly satisfied that need. I ordered the Tsukamen style ramen, which means the broth and noodles are served separately and you dip the noodles into the broth. The broths in both their Tsukamen and original are exceptionally flavorful. The Tsukamen has a salty beef flavor while their signature ramen has more of a roasted chicken flavor. The ingredients are extremely fresh. For those of you that have some sticker shock due to the cost (about 14$ for a ramen bowl) the portions are huge so you definitely get your moneys worth. I cant wait to try the others!

Been here almost a dozen times. The food is always awesome. The prices and service leaves a lot to be desired. Its one thing to make changes but when the staff cant even give you accurate info, then why bother? The prices are way too high to deal with ineptness. The person who you deal with needs to be articulate, knowledgeable and friendly. They used to have a great Japanese drink but its nowhere to be found and no one knows what happened to it. Come on! And wheres The manager? Not here. No one can help you. As I stated the food is great but todays experience is horrible.

Mediocre ramen, but willing to forgive that because it it st louis. But they have poor service. I asked for no corn in my ramen, 4 times. Needless to say, it came out with corn. Since I dislike the taste of corn I asked them to make it again. They brought back my same dish from which they scooped out some of the kernels. I asked them about this and they initially lied about it saying that "it must have fallen in" but there was like 20 kernels and gross corn juice in the dish. So I told them to take it back and I ended up leaving.

Pretty good. Pros: good flavor, its here in St. Louis and its more or less pretty authentic ramen. Takoyaki here was pretty good as well. Cons: Price. All bowls are pretty well $13+. Theyre reasonable large, but still small enough to easily finish. Back on LA you can typically get larger bowls for a bit cheaper. I normally cant finish those. Meat was pretty fatty which is a big turn off for me. Egg was also soft boiled which Im not a big fan of either. Both of these are mostly preference, but was a bit disappointed about the meat.

Not horrible, but not particularly impressive either. The pork is very fatty and the primary flavor of the broth is salt. The ground hot pepper and pickled ginger on the table helped, but the fatty pork and the overlooked flavor detracted from that. The gyoza was tasty. Its affordable and the atmosphere is nice. The service was ok. I give three stars when the food is edible and the service passable but there are many little ways to improve.

The food is delicious and is (in my opinion) the best ramen in St Louis. They have a good selection of non-ramen Japanese dishes as well, but I always end up ordering the ramen when I visit. Decent atmosphere, clean tables, and good staff. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is that the food is a bit overpriced. If youre okay with splurging a little though its definitely a great experience and I would recommend going!

This was my first visit and honestly Id return. Bought a couple dishes as a family. Big portions for sure. My least favorite was the chicken Katsu itself. It was really salty and felt like a frozen/breaded chicken cutlet that was reheated. Enjoyed the Tofu Ramen. I think the menu needs more none pork options. However, I didnt ask about substitutions. I guess I need an authentic Japanese Ramen experience to be the best judge.

Nami Ramen may look like part of a chain, but it is local! My wife and have eaten here on many occasions now, and weve even brought family a couple of times. The service has always been outstanding, and the food is tasty and comes in generous portions. Im not a ramen expert, but I am a pretty accomplished eater of all types of food, and Nami is a go-to place for us to get a quick, high-quality meal. Highly recommended!

Good ambiance with okay food. Thought this place was cool so went to try it out. Food is a bit strange and most in our group agreed that we didnt really like it. Expect just a big bowl of soup with a small bit of meat on the side. The bowls are really big. I recommend sharing between two people. Overall if you like ramen and that sort of food then its probably a decent option but definitely not for everyone.
