Went their for lunch with my wife and 2 kids (5 and 7). We ordered Char Sui Ramen (w/ extra noodles), Beef Donburi, and Tan Tan Ramen. Before I go into my review, I would suggest that if you want to try this place to not bring young kids. There is no childrens menu, and the food may not suit their taste. The Good: food is very flavorful, tasty, everything I was expecting. Atmosphere was clean, decorative, and a lot bigger than appears from the outside. Staff was very friendly and curtious. The Bad: portions were WAY too small for the cost. We ordered the Char Sui Ramen with extra noodles, thinking the extra noodles and an order of beef Donburi would be enough for the kids. The Beef Donburi I would question it to be a kid size portion. Had to order another order for the kids. My kids are both small eaters and weigh 38 and 46 lbs. Usually when we go out, 1 adult portion is more than enough for the kids. None the less, this was definately not enough for an adult. Especially for a dish that is 2/3 rice. After spending over $50 on 4 entrees and a tip for lunch, and my wife and I left there hungry. My wife and i could have split another order of the Ramen , but we werent going to spend another $15, or $70 total on lunch for what is suppose to be street food. Though the food was very good, not sure the money is worth it for the type of food. I would say it is worth trying, but dont expect the big portions like the neighboring Pho places. Keep that in mind and I dont think you will be disappointed.

Ehh. Japanese ramen isnt their speciality. The restaurant tries to advertise as Japanese ramen, but they dont it right. The owners are Chinese and the ramen has a more Chinese twist to it than Japanese. My girlfriend got the Char Siu Ramen and I got the Tan Tan Ramen. The Char siu ramen is suppose to be like tonkotsu, but soup lacks pork flavor and pork taste like Chinese BBQ pork meat. Its not terrible, but its not really that authentic. I got the tan tan ramen because it was the cheapest ramen on the menu. I didnt want to spend so much here cause it didnt look good at all. Im glad I didnt get the "Japanese ramen". The tan tan ramen was okay, and pretty much what I expected. Not great, but not terrible. I also decided to try out the wings here. They werent good at all... Theyre not worth it. The wings are neither crunchy not meaty. They wings are tiny and barely have meat on them. Also theyre drenched in this weird spicy wing sauce... and its not good. It was like 7 bucks for 6 wings... Totally not worth it. Id rather get the hot wings at KFC. The wings here are seriously lacking.. Tip: Check in for free char siu pork bun. Limit one per table though. I probably wouldnt come back here.

We ordered takeout and got home to find out half of our order was wrong. We called to let them know and they told us we could come back to get another ramen, however the person on the phone insisted that our order had been read back to us on the phone, and it had not. We asked for a refund for the half of our order that was incorrect because it was too late for us to drive back. They told us no, they would not refund us because essentially it was our fault. Not an awesome experience to be told multiple times that you are wrong (if the person had in fact read it back and had said "beef" I would have absolutely corrected her as I do not eat beef) and then to not have your order rectified. Wont be going back.

Great new find! Came on a Saturday afternoon. Place was relatively empty; everything looked new and modern. Service was fast and with a smile. The food: Appetizers: we had the gyoza which was wonderful - full of garlic! Chicken kare age which was so-so. Lacking depth to the breading and skimpy on the mayo. Short ribs were delicious but wished there were more (only 4 to the serving). Ramen: the flagship tonkosu was well balanced, lots of pork fat tastiness anc creaminess. The chasu was tender and flavorful, and noodles were plenty. Others tried were the seafood and the miso; both were big hits with the family. Definitely recommend!

Cool little "ramen" restaurant nestled on Eat Street. Service was mediocre, broth and ingredients were authentic with the exception of... The ramen (noodles). Im not sure how they think they can call themselves a ramen restaurant when they literally serve the instant ramen noodles (Maruchan etc) in their soup. A ramen store without handmade (or at the very least refrigerated) noodles is like a human being without a skeleton. So if you like buying glammed up instant ramen at $13, youve found the right place. However, if youre craving real ramen you will find nothing of the sort here. Two stars for decor and the broth.

Quangs was closed so I gave this place a shot. I had the crispy chicken ramen. The Ramen was wonderful! Not very spicy but it was a milder option on the menu so for those Midwestern pallettes you are in luck! The chicken itself took a back seat to the overall ramen. The meat was a little bland. I would be a bit more adventurous next time. I went with a foodie and she was down right impressed. Brought home take out to a family member and they also loved it. Tuesdays is BOGO on beer I believe. If you find yourself in the eat street area on give it a shot! It was great.

I give this restaurant 3 stars out of 5 because of its customer service. It wouldve gotten lower reviews hadnt it been for it awesome service. After eating the food I immediately regretted the money I spent. The food tasted like it was frozen and then stuck in a microwave on high. It was soft and unsatisfying. I feel that where this restaurant is located might cause it to have a competing against other asian restaurants in the area that have a reputation for being delicious and cost friendly. *cough cough* pho hoa. Anyhow I hope this review helps.

Totally adequate bowl of ramen; spicy char siu had a decent heat. Im no ramen expert, but Id put this in line with Unideli. Comfortable atmosphere. Service was decent, only gave us one menu when we walked in (2 people) which was odd, but past that prompt and polite. Also, another reviewer said the servings were smaller than expected. They were totally in line with my expectations, good lunch size, maybe share an app for dinner. Definitely enough food. Quiet at 12 on a Friday, good eat st lunch place if you dont want to deal with crowds.

I honestly want to dislike this restaurant. It didnt strike me as a quality ramen house at first glance. But, having tried most of the ramen in Minneapolis, I have to admit that the two bowls (Tonkotsu and char siu) of ramen that I had at Ippudo (formerly Kung Fu Noodle) remain the best. Service is fast and attentive. Prices are very reasonable for the portions. Appetizers and add-ons are all excellent. Drink offerings could use a little more variety. All in all, Im quite lucky to live in the same neighborhood as this establishment.
