First walking in the place they were playing Disney Jr, which led me to believe it was kid friendly. We called ahead because of it being Valentines Day. As we were being seating I asked if they had a kids menu. Our waitress went to ask the other, she said No but they could do a smaller portion. We placed our appetizer and dinner order. Our waitress came back and said they couldnt do a smaller portion but could cut it in half. Then she came back 15 seconds later and asked if the other waitress took our order yet. I explained that she just took our order. "Oh okay" The other waitress brought our appetizers out, they were okay but extra plates would have been nice since they were being shared by 3 people. Our waitress came back and asked if she could remove plates, as we were clearly still eating. I asked for extra napkins, a necessity without plates and was brought 2. Once we were done our plates were cleared and my sons "uncut" burger was brought out, 3-5 minutes later an entree for one, then 3-5 minutes later mine was brought. Our food was okay but nothing special. Our waitress brought the check and we told her of the Facebook discount, she and the other waitress knew nothing of it. I have been a fan of the page since opening and wanted to wait until Valentines Day so it could be our Valentines Date, I severely regret it now.

Let me preface this review by saying, I have had several dishes and all of them were tasty. I ordered the Miso Mahi Mahi. I did not get a mahi mahi filet. This was a small whole filet of some other type of fish. It looked like a Tilapia filet, but I couldnt tell what it was because of the miso glaze. I called to complain that it wasnt a mahi mahi filet, and they argued non stop that what I got was mahi mahi. I said I would love to come to their kitchen and see the mahi filet for myself, and they ignored the comment and said that what I got was mahi. I can assure you it was not. Besides that, I think the food is good and tasty. Even the miso filet o mystery fish that I got tasted good.

I oredered the Miso Ramen with pork and it was delicious. I lived in east asia for a year, and this brought back great memories. My only comment on the Ramen is that I wish it was fresh made noodle rather than prepackaged. That would put the dish over the edge in my opinion. The flavors of their food alone is why I give this place a five. There is hawaiian music playing, and atmosphere is relaxed; however, the decor was a tad confusing. Hard to tell at times what was culturally Samoan or Japanese etc... Overall very enjoyable food. My family and I will be back.

Awesome food and a welcome variety to a town covered in Chinese and Mexican places. Constructive criticism: the atmosphere. The interior is not fun and islandy that one might expect (or hope for in my case), but was very dark and dimly lit with a black and gray color scheme on the walls, tables, chairs and floor. Atmosphere felt more like a sushi restaurant, and the music was weird. Lots of 90s love ballads. Back Street Boys, Celine Dion, that kinda stuff. 5 stars for awesome food!

I really want to love this place but they definitely have a few issues that keep me from being a regular. The service was great but they always seem to be a little understaffed and stretched thin. The inside looks like it was thrown together quickly with very little attention to detail. I do really enjoy the food but I will say the ramen is just a little lackluster. Worth stopping in if youre in the area to try, but I wouldnt go out of your way to stop in.

I was here with my wife and kids. The server was very professional and attentive. It was busy when we arrived but we still got taken good care of. We tried the new island bowl with Tuna poke. The portion was generous and the taste was very very good! I really liked the creamy sauce goes with the bowl. It tasted fresh and healthy. We also had their Saipan Mahi Mahi and Kalbi. Both were fantastic. We will be back!

Wonderful food and friendly service. A nice addition to Springfield. Management needs to get another server for weekends. Our server did her best but was completely on her own. We had Cocunut Curry and I had the Saipan with Mahi Mahi. The Tuna poke appetizer was delish! Mens bathroom needed a deep cleaning. That would normally lead to a three star review...bit the food overcame that...on this visit at least.

A little hole in the wall restaurant that you cant skip over! As a foodie that lives on a smaller, less diverse community, its a bit hard to find something... different. And that is what Hula is! The interior is trendy and chill, and the server was really sweet. I ordered the Pork Katsu and spam musubi to go, and was DEFINITELY NOT disappointed! It is absolutely delicious. Will definitely come here again!!

Amazing staff, and food. We will be back for sure. We had the sushi, but now want to try all the other dishes they offer. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Loved how the owner came out and greeted everyone at their tables. I wish i could give this a ten star, Just for the service alone. Thank you for opening such a great restaurant. Tingting was our waitress. She is awesome! They all are!

We havent found better Hawaiian food anywhere else in town. Weve been there twice so far and loved all the food we ordered. The katsu chicken is bigger than the plate, drowning in the most flavorful sauce. The pineapple on the huli huli chicken bursts in your mouth with four different flavors. The waitress even remembered us from our first visit two months prior. We hope it never leaves town.

Great experience! This was my first time trying Hawaiin cuisine. The food was yummy! The waiter provided the best service I have experienced in a very long time. He was very helpful in describing the dishes and making recommendations, as well as very attentive to our table the entire time we were there. I will be returning and recomending to others.

Fabulous food! Good portions, very flavorful and is a great deal for the price, especially compared to their local competition in this food style. Pleasant atmosphere, as well. You must try the Spinach Rangoons....Yum, Yum!! I had the Huli Huli Chicken as my entree and it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! I cant wait to go back!

Came in for lunch, ordered teraki chicken to go. Presentation in the box was over all really good. However once I took a bite, the chicken was over cooked, and was just onions a single grilled pineapple circle and as I said before over cooked chicken. I might try again but doubt it.

My boyfriend and I have been to Hula several times now and weve never had a bad experience. The food is great and affordable. Our favorite is the Ramen but weve tried a few other things and havent had anything we didnt like. Also try the wings, they are awesome.
