I have been a returning customer for quite some time to get the perfect cake and excellent tasting cake for my kids birthdays. Im am, however, have been disappointed twice in a row. A couple years I had done a rough draft drawing on what I wanted on the cake. My husband had picked up the cake, so I was expecting the decorator to have exactly what I had drawn on the paper. To my disappointment, the cake only had one thing I had drawn. This last time I purchased a cake, I had left a photo of the flowers I wanted on the cake. I showed the guy how I wanted the flowers to be arranged (and it was even on the wuollet website). Mind you, this was a big deal because it was for my daughter turning 10, and the cake I purchased was $260, after my coupon I used. I had spent quite a bit of money on this cake, so you would think it would be the perfect design like a customer would like. When I went to pick up the cake, it was not the way I had wanted the flowers arranged. And if I had only wanted 6 flowers scattered around the cake, I couldve gotten that large of a cake for a cheaper price somewhere else. The lady was nice enough to drop the price down to $150, but it does not erase the fact that the cake was not what I had wanted displayed at my daughters big party. I love the taste of the cakes, but I am not impressed with the designs for the price Im paying for. I will still be a returning customer, but I just wanted to make sure my future cakes purchased will look the way I design it and not the decorators perception of what I want(especially when I have a draft of what I would like).

Very bad customer service, I will not be back to this location. Walked in and a guy smiled but as he was about to greet me someone called him to the back. A girl came up front --Lisa, and started talking to the other girl that worked there while I just stood there. And no, they were not talking about cakes. They talked for a good 3 minutes until I finally interrupted and asked if I could order. She said sure from either of us. Well neither of them even acknowledged I was standing right in front of me. So as I start telling Lisa what I wanted, she huffed and puffed and very rudely goes just tell me how many you want. My 14 yr. old daughter was standing there and her jaw dropped just as mines did! I said oh wow, I say well how many can I get with the groupon, I mean she will know before I would, I am sure I wasn’t the first groupon so she would know exactly what I could get. I said why not just say how many I can get instead of being rude, then she goes on about her long day --rudely again. I was totally appalled. I didnt even use the whole groupon I was so upset I just wanted to get out of there, but i did ask her name before I left out. I still cannot believe how rude she was.

The one star is for good service. But I was shocked at the inferior quality and ridiculously high prices. I picked up 24 tea cookies for an office party. Each was 2" wide, but I supposed for $24 theyd be delicious and of course made with only the best ingredients. I was shocked when the clerk handed me a box that weighed about 6 ounces. Later I was appalled at the taste. I couldnt finish one cookie. It tasted as though it was made with lard. Even the 24 tiny cookies were among the few leftovers at the party. Never will go back. Their cakes are pretty, and used to taste good, but I wont waste my money here again.

I called and ordered a cake on Saturday morning to be picked up on Saturday night. When I got to the bakery there were about 6 other people total inside. The girl that helped, while not overly friendly, boxed up the cake and put it in a bag without me having to ask. I used a groupon and she wrote out a gift card for the remaining balance. The cake was delicious! I ordered the devils food with chocolate buttercream frosting. It was very dense and still moist. The frosting was perfect and had just enough so you werent scrapping it off to "have some cake with your frosting"

The quality of the baked goods was very high and I would recommend this place based on that... However I walked in there today and all three employees were behind the counter buried in their phones. I was the only one in there and nobody said a word to me until I was up at the counter for over a minute staring at them... The one who finally helped me was also kind of rude and was acting like I was interrupting her phone time. The product was great but the service was awful. Please fix this.

We had a dozen deserts and cakes ordered from this store, including several of the Princess Torte over the past couple of years on occasions for birthdays and anniversaries. Everyone loved the Princess Torte and marveled at layered ingredients and delicate touch went into to create it. Now our family include it for a family gathering for the Christmas as well. It is a decadent indulge, yet we make an excuse to delve into it!

Walked in and walked right out. Poor customer service and actually out right rude. A woman that had a personality similar to a rock was coughing into her hand and sniffing as she pulled out a cake to guess what flavor it was. She seemed bothered to be helping a customer. Will not be going back to the Grand Ave location again.

One of my friends told me about this place. I had a slice of the Princess torte and it was good, however their cupcakes taste like their frosting was from canned frosting and was flavored with lots of flavorings. The cupcake was also very dry. I also stopped by a block down the street and Bravos cake was a bit better.

Wuollet has good pastries, particularly the cardamom toast. The espresso is nothing fancy, and is acceptable for its price and considering its coming from a bakery. What really makes me like this place is the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff.

I went there a couple weeks ago to order a custom cake for a special event. I left a picture for reference. Lets just say I was very disappointed from the look and quality. DONT GET YOUR CUSTOM CAKE HERE. Theyre terrible at it.

The cakes are delightfully imaginative delicious and fresh! This is a pastry wonderland as well with flaky croissants glazed donuts and most things in between. If its not in a case request and order. They also supply to Macys!

I get my daughters birthday cake here every year. Its really easy to order online and they have delicious dairy free options so my lactose intolerant husband can also have a piece. Their other baked goods are also very good.
