You know that saying, "you get what you pay for." Well, if you dont mind forking over a little more than what youre used to paying for bread, you will find that statement to be reaffirmed 100%. My wife and I love Great Harvests bread. We cant say enough good things about it. Not only is it absolutely delicious in a way that lets you eat it completely by itself (its almost an insult to the bread to put anything on it, its that good!), but its also made with only the most healthy, natural ingredients and is incredibly healthy for you (okay, maybe not the pepperoni roll, but how can you resist???). The Dakota wheat is our go-to favorite for making awesome tasting, healthy sandwiches, the Sunflower Wheat is also delicious, the Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread is crazy, mouthwateringly good, and as JamesB says, TRY THE CINNAMON BREAD! Bread from the grocery store will never look the same after youve tasted Great Harvests wonderful products. If you cant tell already, Im a sold fanatic on the place, along with my wife, and we think you will be too. Oh, and I almost forgot, they always have free samples ready that they encourage you to try. Sample one of the Marionberry Scruffins or whatever theyre called. Soooo good!

I just picked up my King Cake from here for Mardi Gras. I am so disappointed in the product I received. Last year the cake came with beads and decorations this year nothing. I called the store to ask why, I was told that due to the high cost of beads they decided not to include beads. This was never told when I ordered the cake. There are other places in the Twin Cities who make King Cakes, I will be going elsewhere next time. Sorry Great Harvest you have lost business over a .12 set of beads.

Fantastic bakery on Selby in Cathedral Hill neighborhood. Eagerly offering samples as you walk on the door. Bread/bun varieties change up monthly/seasonally. Whole wheat salted Carmel cookies are the bomb. Castilian Olive and Artichoke Parmesan breads are my current favorites.

Fantastic bread baked in store. They only use natural traditional bread ingredients, they dont use fillers, enriched flours, or corn syrup. Pricey, but the loaves are heavy and will last you a while.

Love the breakfast rolls with egg, cheese, onion and hashbrowns mmmmm. I love going with my dog on a Saturday morning and walking around the neighborhood until the rolls are pulled out of the oven.
