If you like super slow service, luke warm food, and being forgotten - this is the place for you! I am not one to complain and generally keep quiet with bad experiences, but this was awful. This was the 2nd time we tried the Eagan Perkins location to give it another shot after poor service the 1st time. They really out did themselves this time! Long story short...our waitress never brought our food out - manager had to after my son was slightly loud about noticing we had been there for 40 minutes and he was in earshot. We watched someone walk out not paying their bill since he sat there waiting for it so long after asking several times for it and saw a family leave after sitting at a table waiting for over 20 minutes with no acknowledgement. When our food did come it was luke warm and mushy. I ordered the same thing at a different location and this order was mushy and nasty. One bite of the egg mixture and I was done. Not worth sending it back to wait more. The only plus was that the manager did comp our meal, which was barely eaten anyway. The manager was super friendly and nice but we will be chosing other Perkins locations in the future. Never again.

Wont be back, will drive to Apple Valley. Went mid morning Saturday 7/18. The hostess told us 10 minutes, no problem. There were 6 others parties waiting as well. After 20 minutes NO ONE had been seated. I walked around, there were 5 tables of varying sizes open and cleaned off. Waited and Waited. Two more tables opened up and were cleaned off. Finally I asked to speak to a manager........ Roosevelt came out laughing and said it would just be a few more minutes. Sat and Sat. Roosevelt thought it was real funny we were all standing there. Even made one group move from where they were standing, they had moved to make room for other people still coming in the door. The wait staff (especially Doug) were busting their butts and so were the bussers. The girl taking names really NEEDS TRAINING!!!!!!! Roosevelt not sure what that guy needs. Very obnoxious.

The waitress was a little rude the whole time she served us. Never once looked us in the eyes when communicating. When the other people in my party got their food, the bacon was nothing but stick looking. You could see right through the bacon (or was it bacon?). When we told the hostess about our experience all she said was oh thats not good with a smirk on her face. Did she not care? I know for a fact that we will be bringing our business somewhere else where they respect us more. Over priced food. Everything on the plate was small. When she handed a plate to my daughter (6yrs old) & I, we almost dropped it because it was pipping hot. She never warned us that the plates were hot. Thank you! smh

I took a client there for supper this evening, it wasnt busy at all. When we went to the desk to pay for our meal, I offered to wait so the waitress could seat a couple that had been waiting for about 10 minutes. The waitress (whose name begins with a C.) said, "I just want to get this done first" and then whispered "Jesus Christ". This young ladys use of language and attitude was completely unexpected and quite unfair. Before leaving, I calmly suggested that she may not want to use such words in front of guests again. She looked shocked, perhaps she didnt think I had heard her. However, she did yell "Sorry" as we were walking out the door.

So sorry that we again tried to go to the Perkins on Town Centre Dr. in Eagan, on a Friday night. The wait was extremely long for the simple things we ordered. Cold scrambled eggs. Tater Tots that were under-cooked and oily and the Pancakes that are supposed to be a specialty of Perkins were terrible. They served three pancakes of which 2 were sort of warm and one was seriously cold and hard as if it had been made earlier. Come on People! Perkins is supposed to be the place for comfort food. Could not eat most of what was served. We paid our bill but some serious improvements need to be made before we can come to eat here again.

Doesnt deserve 1 star - HORRIBLE, Rude staff and NO customer service. I was waiting for 30 minutes while 3 other parties that came after me got seated first, and I had to ask for a waitress to come take my order, twice. The food was cold and had a piece of plastic in the eggs and hair in the hash browns!! The service manager (Roosevelt) did not do anything about my complaints and just said hell "coach the staff" when he was the one that was supposed to seat us. The general manger (Amanda) constantly interrupted me and was very rude when I told her about how poor the service was. NEVER GOING BACK!!

I always wondered why my friend from Eagan hated Perkins, after eating at the Eagan Perkins it made sense. The food is not that great and the restaurant seems dirty. The waitstaff isnt very friendly, probably because they work in a pretty crappy work environment. It was clear that one of them was so stressed that she was about to cry. The manager was treating her like an idiot for a small mistake. Bad management makes for a bad eating experience.

Always the slowest service I have experienced at a Perkins. I would head to Apple Valley or Bloomington and skip this location. It is never even crowded, but they somehow always have slow service. Even the managers and front end staff show NO urgency. We average waiting for 20 plus minutes for four people. I dont review most restaurants, but this place is seriously run terribly - unfortunately on a consistent basis.

Probably one of the better Perkins locations in the Twin Cities. The food has always been good. One time they ran out of some meat loaf and the manager gave us some freebies for the inconvenience! The servers are good and friendly and I have seen the same staff there for at least a year so they dont have a lot of turnover at the Eagan location.

Bad early morning service. I came in to place a to go order and was completely ignored by waitress and manager. I was left standing at the counter with out even being asked if I could or had been helped. After 10 minutes I simply walked out and went to burger king down the street. Wont be back to this perkins

If I could rate this Perkins with a lower score I would. Remind waitress about not receivein my milk with my food see finally brings it out when Im finished with my food. Gabrielle not a good waitress. Food late and cold. Go to a different restaurant or make sure you get Joe as a waiter.

The restaurant is always clean. & Even though there was only one server, one cook & a party of nine ahead of us... the service was awesome! The menu selection is excellent & always improving. Plus who doesnt like Perkins famous pancakes?

Just fail. Unattentive, couldnt find someone to run our bill (and not just a few minutes, like to the point where people where just leaving cash on the counter and walking out) and they messed up 3 of the 4 meals. Fail.
