I love the food here and have always had pleasant service. My only complaint is the host on my last visit. I put my name in and was given a general amount of time it would be, which is fine. I knew it would be a while because I had a larger party. When the app let me know there were no names ahead of mine I headed back in to see how much longer it would be. I politely asked the host, a younger looking boy, and he rudely answered "I told you your wait was going to be 60 min to 90 min and you have only been waiting 54 minutes." Which didnt answer my question. So I asked again, how much longer did he think I would be waiting. According to the app I was next & not all my party was there so I wanted to let them know. He then said "Well, you DO (emphasis on the "do") have a larger group & we only have 1 table that will accommodate you." Still not answering my question. So I asked a third time w/a bit more stern voice and slower hoping he unserstood the question. He finally gave me an answer I felt satisfied my question. A simple "few more minutes" when I asked the first time would have put me at bay. Instead I received attitude w/an indirect response more than once. If you go at a busy time diner beware!

It was my first time here and it definitely wont be my last! It was fantastic!!!! I didnt realize there was happy hour so it was quite packed when we showed up around 6 so we had to wait a half hour. Thankfully they text you so you can go elsewhere to grab a drink. The service was great from the host to our great server Anna. All smiles and great suggestions. I had the cheesecurds that are just as good as the state fair ones which is hard to find and the berry ketchup actually is quite wonderful (I was skeptical at first). Got the Manhattan 2.0 which was melt in your mouth delicious! A little bit too much reduction sauce on it though. It was fantastic without needed that sweetness. It was mostly in the middle so I didnt taste it right away. Dogfish head flesh & blood went great with it all! Cant wait to work my way down the menu!

Awesome place to get great craft beer and excellent burgers. My personal recommendation would be to get the Turkey Burger. It was voted "the best" by a local magazine a few years ago and its still one of my favorite meals in town. Red Cow also does a Cowlaboration series of craft beers with Lift Bridge Brewing, and they are usually very good. The three most recent - Chocolate Milk Stout (#3), Tropical IPA (#4) and Coconut Porter (#5) have all been awesome. The staff here is always very friendly and prompt, even on busy nights I have no problem getting dinner in a timely manner. One minor negative is how popular this place is and how difficult it is to get a table at times. On popular dining out nights in the summer, be prepared to wait. Parking is another minor issue, but there is plenty of street parking within a few blocks.

Now I have been there two times now. Went back for a second time I was hoping for better food and service. Because every one has an off day now and then. Nothing has changed on the second time poor food and poor service. Both times I sat a the bar, but this was the worst time. I order a onion rings and a drink. Food came out OK (a little on the slow side) the onion ring were on the semi-hot and very greasy. So I asked the Bartender for some ketchup. As the bartender go down the she stops and talks to another customer and samples him beers 2-3. A little further down the bar she stops another customer orders some pints, so long story short 4-5+ minutes later I get a side of ketchup. By now the semi-hot onion ring are just warm. I will not be a return to the Red Cow.

Have you ever had a dessert so good that you felt like you needed to hug someone? Tonight at the Red Cow I had such an experience. I had an amazing dinner. Ultimate burger and fixings.. it was delicious. THEN I had the mini donut/ bananas dipped in fudged and carmel with whip cream and peanuts… AMAZING! It was so good I couldnt help but hug my waitress for bringing it to me… then I couldnt help but thank (and hug) the cook for making it! It was by far the best dessert I have ever ate. I strongly strongly recommend it! Maybe its my pregnancy hormones that made me hug the staff at Red Cow this evening… but I will never forget how amazing that dessert is. I will be back.

Burgers are what they specialize in and that is what we all ordered. It wonderful to find a place that asks how you want your burgers to be cooked and cooks it as ordered. Its our opinion that if you ask how you would like it, cook it that way and not just keep cooking everyone’s the same. While the portions were minimal, each of ours was a dream-state delicious. Out of the burger joints we have been to, this one is at the top for flavor and consistency. I had the french onion burger, and it will be hard for me to order anything different due to fears the others could not stand up to the flavors I experienced between those buns.

Started weekend brunch with a Basil McRae(gin, cucumber, cocchi americano, basil) cocktail. Eggs with salmon and caviar and vegetarian eggs with avocado were appreciated by our dining party. My eggs with rutabaga, beets, potatoes, etc didnt sound like Id like it, but I tried it anyway. Im glad I did, it was really interesting. The vegetables were well-seasoned - and a horseradish sauce added just the right spice for these items. Delicious. Finished with chocolate mousse. All items warm, fresh, tasty. Will return to try other items.

Food was good, but the staff was clueless. I went on the evening of a Wild game to get a meal before and then use their shuttle service to the game. I got there plenty early and finished my meal before the shuttle was to leave, I also asked my waitress to get the bill early that way if the shuttle came up I could easily leave. The Red Cow apparently has no set location of where the shuttle would pick people up at or when it leaves even. I missed the shuttle and that was pretty upsetting considering how much I tired to be ready for it.

The Red Cow has excellent food with a good drink selection. They kept us entertained during our wait by handing out bowls of their bacon caramel corn puffs and offering us drinks. They stated it would be a 30-40 min wait and served us in 20 min. My girlfriend and I split a Manhattan burger, which was just the right amount of food with an appetizer and a drink. It was one of the most delicious burgers we have ever had. My only criticism is the price of the food, but it is justified based on the quality ingredients and presentation.
