HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Tonight I went to eat at the St. Anthony location in Minnesota off of Silver Lake Road. I would just like to say how we got terrible service, employees were rude and our meals were wrong. When we ordered I stated I wanted regular fries. I ended up getting the smash fries and when asked to get regular fries it took about 20 minutes and the lady working was extremely rude. I also ordered a vanilla shake and they only filled half of the cup. Others that I was with didnt receive correct food and one person I was with got his food about 10 minutes late because they said they didnt know where he was sitting when we watched and they didnt even try to come to our table. I would like to express how horrible we feel after being treated so poorly by the employees and the service. I will definitely be telling others not to eat here because of this terrible experience and will not be coming to this location ever again. Employees should not be giving attitude and talking badly about their customers so loud that the customers can hear. This is extremely poor etiquette for employees.

Was there last night, and the girl that waited on us sighed when we walked in 20 min to close. We got to the register and she had a disgusted look on her face, and informed us that they were closing soon so we had to get our meal to go (as people are still sitting and eating there). We agreed, and she just starts tapping her nails against the counter, non stop, while we look at the menu (first time there). My girlfriend and I decided what we wanted but were informed there was no bacon and they didnt want to make more, so we would have to go without it. Bacon. I work at a restaurant and I cook at home. Bacon takes little to no time or effort. It just makes 1 more dish to wash. The finger tapping lasted all the way through our order, getting louder and louder as she became more annoyed by our general presence. Will never go back. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Average burgers, average ambiance. I suppose if you rank these guys against say McDonalds, I could see how one might give them a four or five star review. But lets face it, the burgers are still pretty average, pedestrian level, and arent really anything interesting to write home about. Ive tried burgers at dozens of different places around the Twin Cities, and this ranks down right there with Five Guys — average, pedestrian level, and nothing special to write home about. Of course this is my opinion — but if you are going to be a burger joint and want to stand out, you have to be inventive, flame broil your burgers, and offer creative combinations that dazzle the senses. Unfortunately Smashburger didnt quite make the cut for me.

This location is absolutely awesome. Two weeks ago, their gift card system was down. The cashier took the entire price of our meal off the ticket. Totally unexpected. Right now, Im munching on same tasty tasty food. I came to this location after a long day with no lunch. The staff person behind the counter is super friendly. The gift card system is up and running! BAM! My gift card showed $0 available. Shocked! There should be $90, at least. Called Smas(HQ) and it turns out, there is an issue with every card from the site where I purchased my card. They confirmed my funds are still there, simply on hold. This location not only took to time to help troubleshoot the issue, they also gave me a 33% discount for the issue.

The burgers are good. The service was friendly but... Put it this way: I had to wipe down my own table, and ended up going table to table looking for a ketchup container that actually had ketchup in it. Eventually, I brought five empty ketchup bottles up to the counter to be refilled. At the time, there were a couple of other folks eating, me with a date, three employees in the kitchen that I could see and three on the floor. I dont know if a bus had just let off a tour of hungry five year olds and left before I got there or what, but seems to me it shouldnt have been that bad.

Terrible experience. First time in the store tonight and had to wait over 40 mins to get my meal. I even asked the cashier how long it would be since I had my baby at husband waiting in the car. He said it would be 13 minutes max and it was 40 minutes in the end. The thing that made me mad was that they said it would only be a few minutes on my fries after waiting 20 minutes already. I waited another, 20 minutes after that. I was pissed and the manager didnt even offer me anything for my wait. I NEVER return and do not reccommend this location to anyone!!!

We enjoy eating at Smashburger. The other day went in for a takeout order. Ordered there and waited. Our order was 4 burgers, 2 lg fries and fried pickles. Waited for the order for 45 mins. Saw it sit there under the heating lamp for way too long as it was pieced together. So when got home it was cold and not very good. Will not do take out again. The help was soooo slow seen a lady wait for 3 shakes for over 30 min. They really need some help and efficient help. The help was not in any hurry as people waited and waited and waited.

I work at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities and we took our ladies to this Smashburger and the service was excellent. They were so accommodating to us and very polite. The place was very clean, the food was really good and it came out quickly (on a Friday night too). I had the chicken baja sandwich and go back there and order it again. Id feel very comfortable taking our ladies there again, and happy to get to eat at a place with them where I enjoy the food as much as they do!

Two words: SMASH FRIES. Ive been a Smashburger fan since they first popped up around here. My food has ALWAYS been prepared and served correctly, and, on the two or three occasions something was accidentally omitted from our order, a manager was always quick to remedy the situation. I bring out-of-town friends and family here constantly because the food is great, the atmosphere is accommodating, and you can even get a beer to go with your burger. Also, SMASH FRIES. Just do it. 5/5

Wanted to try a different burger than five guys. 0/10 would go to smash burger again, I got the spicy buffalo fries and they were so salty you couldnt swallow one. The burger is basically bread with a very thin and bad tasting patty. They call that the Big and they charge you 12$ for it. The soda machine wasnt even working, the people working seemed like they are depressed to be there. Overall terrible experience.

I ordered a crispy chicken strips kids meal, I waited 20 minutes at a dirty table just to have it come out absolutely burnt. And no, this is not an exaggeration. I work at a Diner that sells chicken tenders and they are not supposed to be DARK BROWN. They were extremely crunchy & they forgot my sauce. It was definitely not worth my nearly $6 it cost. Im extremely disappointed.
