Smashburgers Twin Cities burger is simply the best burger I have ever eaten. I have been to several places, trying to find the best burger in the area. Now Im not a very picky person. Give me meat and a slice of cheese between 2 buns and Ill be happy. I dont know what it is, but the mix of cheese and beef is just so good. Ive been to Red Robins, Hovies, Buffalo Wild Wings... And then I decided to try Smashburger. I ordered a Twin Cities burger and added bacon to it. It is simply the best burger Ive ever had. The mix of both cheddar and swiss cheese, with the caramelized onions and the mayo makes for such a tasty sauce which blends so, so well with the juicy beef patty right under it. The salad and tomatoes in the burger have been fresh and delicious every time Ive been there. Ive been there when it was dead quiet as well as when it was very busy, with lines constantly forming at the register. People got their orders taken very quickly and, even when the place was really packed, it didnt even take 5 minutes for me to get my order. The service is quick, the food is delicious, and its cheap! 10 bucks for an incredible burger and a drink is unbeatable for the quality of the food you get. Try it, you wont be disappointed! I most definitely recommend the Twin Cities burger!

One Star for Great Service! One Star for Great People! One star for Brett! One Star for Atmosphere. I do not eat fast food so I cant write a bias review on the food. I went into Smash burger expecting one thing and receiving another. For anyone who was fooled like I was, this is a fast food joint with a casual, upbeat atmosphere. I dont eat fast food for my own personal reasons so when I got home it was to late. My fiancée and I had a few bites of our burger and fries. It was good for the type of food, just not as expected or as advertised over the radio and internet. To the good stuff. Bretts service was great and personal. His shift manager was quick witted and very helpful. The store its self is very trendy, clean, and well staffed. They serve some of the best Minnesota brews fresh in the bottle and their menu is very adaptable for your taste in burgers. I would suggest this to anyone over any other fast food joint in the area. Walked in no one at the counter. I should have walked out.... I ordered and then I became more and more disgusted ... food on the floor everywhere. Not just a fry here or there. There was not a clean surface anywhere. Burgers on the floor ketchup on the bench seats. There was a dirty rag where the food comes out. There was no place to sit. Without garbage. It was 3pm in the afternoon and I counted 3 people in the resturant. The counter girl sat down and complained she needed a break. At that point I cancelled my order and left. If this is any indication of what the kitchen would look like....health department where are you.! DISGUSTING!!!

Decided to not go to Lucky 13 in Mendota as a change. Placed order, in less than 5 minutes our burgers came out. They were obviously sitting there and then had the cheese melted , bacon was not heated enough to chew through , there was pink in my burger and my sons burger. The Smash fries were luke warm at best and greasy as hell. Nothing about this food was fresh. I was glad I was within a 2 mile radius so I could and had to get rid of this food in the toilet . Worst experience ever. Done with SmashBurger

Went into this restaurant during the lunch hours on a Sunday. Before anyone took our order we were to wait for 5 minutes before anyone showed up. We were then informed after our wait that they were going to make us wait longer before they took our order because they couldnt handle how busy they were at the moment (the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full). Obviously we left after we heard this but this location definitely needs new management if this is how it normally runs.

Terrible experience... you could tell the gentleman who helped me was at the end of his shift or something cause he was not nice or helpful. He threw away my gift card after my purchase which still had a remaining balance on it?? Good thing I grabbed my receipt! Lets just say Im not coming back to this location again.

Incredibly upbeat and friendly service, the gal at the register was a ball of laughs and has such an incredible personality.....Not to mention, the Truffle Mushroom/Swiss/Grilled Onion Chicken Sandwich was so tender and juicy; I still cant stop thinking about it. I am so glad I came upon this place and gave it a shot.

The burgers are unbelievably greasy. The fries were their house special and had olive oil and rosemary. They had an unappetizinng smell, and I exchanged them for regular ones. However, the owner was very accomodating and congenial. We had ordered a takeout meal, which he did not charge us for.
