My experience was less than satisfactory unfortunately. I came in with my husband and daughter in a great mood ready for some great food, but my cashier quickly made it clear that she did not want to serve us. We had never been here before and seeing as we were the only people in line, we took our time to look over the menu, much to her apparent frustration. She did not greet us, would not make eye contact with us, did not smile once, and gave off an extremely rude attitude when we decided what we wanted. She rolled her eyes, spoke so fast we could barely understand her, pointed to the drink cups like we were stupid when we asked, and as soon as she swiped our card, she ran off to laugh and openly flirt with another employee after refusing to greet us with kindness. Aside from a lack of spicy ranch dressing, our hats were off to the chefs. Our burgers tasted great and my chicken salad was savory; however, the help wanted sign outside surely must explain this establishments lack of respectful, customer friendly cashiers. Not only was our food excellent, but the entire restaurant was extremely clean and the bathrooms were spotless. Great atmosphere and food ruined by an uncaring server. What a shame. *6/26/2016; 7:08PM; register #2*

This restaurant is a little unique. Its not unique to Springfield, but it stands out from other restaurants in Springfield. Make it yourself burgers, you order the burger you want and the size you want, or nachos or chicken sandwiches, and then theres a condiments bar that you take your burger to, when its finished, and you top it with whatever you want on your burger. If you want dessert, theres actually a separate dessert bar, it kinda used to look like something youd expect to see in a 60s diner. As to the service, the staff are always friendly and polite. The food is always delicious. The prices are relatively cheap. The atmosphere, very Springfield oriented, a lot of memorabilia on the walls and hanging from the ceiling, and even a mural of things in Springfield painted on one of the inner walls. The only real downside is, its a popular place to eat, making it rather crowded and kinda loud usually. But the food is delicious and atmosphere is unique and enjoyable every time you go.

Absolutely horrid. Why i paid to eat here was a huge oversight. I should have been tipped off by the attire the cashier was wearing. (I little attention to your personal hygiene would go a long way.) When i tried politely explaining to the mgr that i didnt want any comp, or something else served in place of the cold raw cheeseburger in a pond of grease and blood that they pass off as edible, he acted as though he expected some criticism. Wow. Really?! If you know you arent serving something that my dog wouldnt be able to keep down, how long can you stay in business? ... You really did have a good thing going, but this was definitely my last visit.

Great hamburger joint. In the distant past, Fuddruckers used to be famous for burgers that were too big to eat! Recently, theyve favored quality over quantity. Everything is made fresh to order and there is a toppings bar with very fresh selections. Kids will love the touch-screen soda dispenser. The decor is also a fun experience, with vintage helicopters suspended above the dining room and diner-style photos and news clippings. The small patio overlooks the bike trail, but doesnt offer much of a view. Expect $8-10 per person. Alcohol available.

I ate at the Fuddruckers in Springfield today and it was great! The restaurant was very clean, the service was great and the food excellent! The interior of the restaurant is uniquely decorated with lots of flair. I noticed they had two booths one themed with The Beatles and another with Elvis. They have the new touch screen drink machines. They also have a buffet style bar of toppings to add to your order. You can have your hamburger cooked the way you want it - rare, medium or well done.

The Staff is awesome, I had a bad encounter in St Louis for my daughter’s birthday, however we got back into town and tried Springfield and they did an excellent JOB. Thank you for keeping up a birthday tradition to make a memorable experience for my Daughter. My children Like to go to Fuddruckers o there Birthday because they have a special tact about public humiliation. Again Thank you and keep up the Great Job. St Louis needs to learn that.

Total pain as a single adult bringing kids. Cant leave young ones at the table while you have to get up multiple times for food, drinks, etc. The last trip was to get a to-go box with all the kids in tow because staff never came by the table to ask if we needed anything. When we get back, the table is cleaned off with our unfinished food thrown away. It was obvious we were coming back because toys and personal items were left on the table.

HORRIBLE!!!! We waited 25 minutes for food. I had to ask for our food. They told me than ran out of fries and had to go buy more at the grocery store. They were Always Save brand. When the girl brought our shakes they were nothing but milk. The poor manager was working his butt off. He said his District Manager let them run out of food and said she forgot it was "Labor Day". Never going to this one again!!!!!!

I went there last week with my husband and our 3 children and an employee kept flirting with my husband and her attitude was was as bad as her mouth. We ended up leaving before our kids seen anymore . I dont know if i can say her name but it starts with a A you know who you are and so does alot of other past customers Management really needs to look into her behavior expexially in a family restaurant

Went on Wednesday and they had a special for 1/3 Hamburger with Drink and Fries for $7.00. They must of changed there straws but all there straws where in a bucket where without rapping paper over the straws which me and my wife found unsanitary and thought what if someone had sneezed on the bucket so we decided to not use a straw because of this gross though about being sick.

Peel Your Onions!! Not once, but TWICE (at this location) we have ordered grilled onions on our sandwiches and received a pile of grilled onion SKINS...Im talking skins that should have been peeled, that you cant chew, and that I actually gagged on. The first time could have been a fluke. But it happened again. Gross. Who doesnt peel their onions?! We wont be going back.

The atmosphere is great, and I like that you can customize your burger...but the food was just ok. My husband ordered a big 3/4 lb. hamburger, which was moist and pretty good, but I ordered a turkey burger and it was really dry and flavorless, yuck! For the price I was expecting better. The taco salads were huge and looked great. I will try one of those if I return.

Ill admit, I didnt have a burger there but the fish and chips. They were good, just a little to much grease for me. The service was very good. If you want an ice cream cone, its a buck. Overall prices could be a little better for a build your own burger joint. The dipping sauce for the fries is pretty darn good.
