My first time here. I didnt read any of the reviews beforehand. My brother & his family are regulars at other Indian restaurants, but this was all of our first time here. Great parking available on street. Corner restaurant with views of street. Cloth napkins & tablecloth, along with ice water filled glasses. The food was amazing and the waiter was knowledgeable on the menu with my many questions (Ive never eaten Indian food before). We ordered 2 kinds of Naan, a vegetarian samosa, 2 Lassi (like a yogurt drink), a spinach /cheese meal, a vegetarian meal (cant remember the correct names), the crunchy bread (starts with a P I think?), the chicken (chunks of piping hot chicken pieces), and it came with a bed of rice. The waiter was very friendly to the kids, joking around with them, we had 2 kids (age 11 & 5),so that was nice to see. Id totally recommend you stop by and check them out! I know they take Discover credit cards!

Hard core foodies in India will rate Twin Cities Indian food at one star or less but considering the fact that i am an Indian bachelor living here and comparing other Indian restaurants i can give this place a 3.5. I come from Bangalore an Indian city with rich choices of the best Indian food from different states and have had street food to 7 star in palace hotels. Now coming to this review a big plus for this place that breads (naan and rotis) are served fresh off the kitchen instead of letting them become rubbery on the buffet table. They replenish the food on the buffet and keep it fresh. Can make fish fry less dry and spice up (not spicy hot but use more of the right spices). At present second in Twin Cities in my opinion

Very good food. I did the lunch buffet. Very friendly and attentive staff. Here is how I would rate each thing I tried on a 5-star scale: Raita = 5 stars Naan = 5 stars (made fresh which is a nice touch) Mint sauce = 5 stars Tandoori chicken = 4 stars Fish pakora = 5 stars (I havent had before but with mint sauce was very good) Onion pakora = 3 stars Curry pakora (my favorite Indian dish) = 4 stars Chicken marsala = 4 stars Masroom marsala = 4 stars It was very good. The food overall I prefer India Palace in Plymouth because their curry pakora is amazing. The service and atmosphere are better at India House though and I really liked the fresh Naan.

Ive had a lot of good, authentic Indian food in my life but have had an incredibly difficult time finding any in Minnesota. Im very pleased to find that India House is so close to me! The food is great. It doesnt taste like theyre trying to make it appeal to a more "Midwest" diet by loading everything full of cheese like other restaurants Ive tried. Their vegetarian dishes have a refreshingly wide variety of vegetables in them, not just a lot of a couple. Large vegetarian menu with lots to choose from. Staff is wonderfully friendly and exceedingly tolerant of my toddler treating the place like her own personal race track.

Im staying at the Holiday Inn in Maple Grove and Im from Oregon. India House is a short walk away from here. The girl was cute and friendly and helped me decide. Ive had a lot of Indian food in my life from many shops and restaurants, even my own cooking, but this is by far the best vegetable curry Ive ever had in my life. This dish didnt try to be something more than what it was; it did well what it knew how to do. The tofu was perfectly cooked, the rice was pure perfection, and the vegetables were ungodly perfectly spiced. Michelin status curry here!

We order from here about once a month and go to the buffet once every 3, we absolutely love this place! And they make us feel welcome with our children. The waiters are always smiling and ready to serve! We usually get chicken saag (chicken and spinach curry dish), Chicken Tikka masala, and onion naan- which all just taste so decadent and very well blended. The buffet all of it is very good! Even the stuff I dont usually like such as the Paneer masala, it is actually very good here! Highly recommend Trying this place!

Hallelujah (or whatever youd say in India)! Decent Indian food has finally returned to Maple Grove! Tried four different dishes tonight, and all were excellent. The biryani was even served with the correct sauce on the side; nobody does that. So why is this place so quiet on a Friday night? I hope it is just because it is so new and word of mouth about this exotic gem hasnt gotten out yet.

Awesome Indian food. Great service. Very nice people working here. The guys working here are kind, humble, respectful and entirely cool. They have my vegetarian needs here which I like very much. This is the best Indian buffet in the Twin Cities. I extremely recommend for people to come here because they will have a good time with very great tasting flavorful food.

WOW! Walked in for the lunch buffet, and it was incredible! A great variety on the buffet, all hot and fresh, seems like they refresh it frequently. Service was wonderful - they really treat you like a welcome and appreciated guest. Save room for the desserts! Dont miss the Gulab Jamun and the mango pudding. Will definitely return.

We gave India House a try last evening and the meal was delicious. The Chicken Vindaloo was perfect and actually appropriately spicy (seems difficult to find in Minnesota). The fresh naan bread was great as well. We plan a return visit to try other menu items and will update the review at a later date.

Nice location, large parking on the back, clean and comfortable. We tried Lunch buffet. 6 type of Veg curries are uncommon in regular buffet but thats what you get here. All of the were on mild side (as expected) but flavorful. They serve Nan on the table, again appreciable.

Probably the best lamb vindaloo Ive ever had. Theyre very nice too - I got a to go order and they invited me to sit down and brought me a free coke. The place is very nice on the inside as well, white table cloths and wine glasses. Easily one of my favorites in town.

Took an hour for our APPETIZERS to come out. Other large tables came in after us, ate and left before we got our food. Asked for hot, was mild at best. Very disappointed. Went in at 6:15, left after 8. Hope youve got time to sit and wonder where your food is.

Very friendly staff, clean facility and good food. The waiter saved me from myself after intending to order an entree on top of their appetizer sampler...which was delicious...glad I had not ordered an entree as I was stuffed after just the appetizer

Love this place. The food is high quality and really made well. The staff was also friendly and very accommodating. I had the Chicken Madrasi (hot) with fresh mint and Naan (flat bread). It was truly delicious. My highest compliments to chef Manjeet.
