I would probably give 0 star if I had an option and the reason is purely the customer service by the lady owner. As I was eating, she came to me and said - are you done? you guys are here for long time, other customers are waiting !!! This is a worst thing to hear when someone is eating ! Such a cheap/ nasty gesture ever !!! I was so shocked and when I told her that I have never experienced such a behavior, she said I gave you good service , your daughter created a mess and I didnt mind it & cleaned it !!!!!!! I was again speechless ! Apparently, I went with my husband & 20 month old kid, (I hope other parents can understand my situation) and as she was trying to drink water from her cup, she poured it all on the floor. We immediately apologized and asked them to clean it. So that lady was already irritated with this & she wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Though the food was nice, I would never ever recommend this place because of the cheap behavior of that lady - which is intolerable ! Today its me, tomorrow it could be anyone ! Good luck !

Have you ever tasted Stale Biryani? if not this is a MUST VISIT place. We ordered two Chicken Dum Biryani for to go and when we went back home...the food was already smelling stale and the chicken tasted like it was Quite old and definitely not fresh. GOD knows how Old this stuff is..Well it is an Open secret that Indian Restaurants preserve thre food and serve fit off of Cold freezers etc but this place may be the WORST in Minneapolis! Such a waste of Money... If you are looking for some Fresh (relative term like i said with Indian restaurants) Indian Food please try some place else and Oh! by the way this is my ever review on a restaurant and im often too lazy to write one..so i guess this tells you how much i hated thr food. Never Ever going back!

I visited this buffet on Sunday. The food was excellent. This buffet had more choices than others I have been to. In addition to Naan there were 2 other types of bread. There were many vegetarian dishes and 4-5 meat dishes as well. There was a very large selection to choose from which included desert and Masala Chai. Almost all dishes had some heat and spice to them. This was one of the best Indian buffets I have been to in the Twin Cities, perhaps the best. The staff was very friendly and the service was great.

Owners were so friendly! This is a great new local business (opened January 2017). The biggest variety I have ever seen at an Indian buffet. There was both a lamb biryani and vegetarian biryani. They had a dal dish, saag dish, mutter paneer, and a ton of other options. This is the perfect spot for the Indian food fanatic as well as someone who is trying it for the first time. They have a mean kheer for dessert, too! I will definitely be back. Only about $12 for all you can eat!

I have previously given a 4 star, but now they get a 2star. This is because of the arrogant waitress Suma. Her uncourteous and impolite behavior has ruined our pleasantness. She needs to have a right attitude. When asked about an item in the menu, her response was not pleasing. We have noticed the table and sofa dirty and requested her to clean up, just to fake her attitude. Another gentleman (Mouli, not sure of name) did a fantast if job. 2 star only because of him.

Im somewhat of a novice concerning Indian cuisine, but I recently visited for the first time. I had the vegetable pakora, and the lamb biryani, with garlic naan. Others in the party had butter chicken and tikka masala. (apologies if any misspellings). Everyone thought it was fantastic. Large portions, friendly staff. It was a casual pace of service, so i recommend you allow for that. If in a hurry maybe to go is a better choice?

Bay leaf took over the old Indian Zayka spot in Eagan. They bring an expanded buffet menu with awesome choices. Everything is fresh and well spiced. There are plenty of vegetarian options, as well as meat (mostly chicken). Its a by-the-pound take out place but the new owners got rid of the styrofoam containers and have handy compartmentalized recyclable plastic trays instead. A great place to eat Indian food!!

Thought it would be different from previous owners. We arrived at time online said they opened but it was wrong online, waited 1 hour just to walk in and it looked like the place before, same setup, food, boring and too spicy for me unfortunately. Looked clean and staff was friendly. Just not good for me, or others who dont like heavy spice

The best Indian food I had by far. They are generous with their seasoning which makes the dishes so tasty and flavorful just the way I like it. I love the buffet. They even have goat dish in their buffet! How many buffet out there serves goat dishes? My plate and take outs are always loaded. Plus the leftovers are still yummy the next day.

Two of our family are gluten free and we had so many delicious things to choose from clearly marked on the menu. Suma, our waitress, couldnt have been sweeter or more attentive. Fantastic, delicious, well-made, creative Indian food here. We went for dinner last week and the Sunday brunch buffet today and both were outstanding!

We get take out and wanted to give this place a try. The first time we didnt get the correct order. One item and bread was missing. Today, we ended up with an extra item (beef with peppers). I checked and it was on the bill. We dont even eat beef. I probably wont be back unless someone else takes the orders via phone.

I come here mainly for the lunch buffet for work, and as much as i protested the initial visit here, I absolutely enjoyed the cuisine they have to offer. The spice level varies but is completely tolerable for even the whimpiest pallets. The food is always very well seasoned and keeps me coming back.
