This seems to be the only Indian restaurant within 60 miles of Karnak, Ill. If it isnt, please let me know! :) The chicken Tikka Masala was okay. I ordered it Indian hot and they got that part perfect. I had the dine in menu as there was no buffet at the time that I went. The Naan was great. Compared to the Indian restaurants that I have been at around the nation, this one doesnt score highly. On the other hand, I was happy to find them and the food is okay. The waiter was very friendly. This place used to be called "Git Sum" and "Jewel of India" with multiple locations, so that was confusing when trying to pick an Indian restaurant to eat at when in reality there is only this one new location under the name "Reema".

This cash-grabbing, miserly restaurant has really gone to crap. Last time I visit there. They stopped serving the buffet throughout the week and serve you instead a military-style, metal galley tray of food for $10 - maybe 1/3cup of chicken tikka masala, if that! We ordered a lunch plate to go (which the server forgot), but then they said they stopped serving lunch and wed have to order off the dinner menu - this was 10 minutes before the official lunch hours stopped, and we mentioned our order at the beginning of the meal. Avoid this place, unless you want to spend $10 on some expensive laxative.

Is it the best Indian food youve ever had? No! Will you ever eat there again? Probably, a yes. I would go there again for a dearth of other Indian restaurants in the vicinity, and not because I like the food here. The waiter was disinterested. Their buffet lacks options. And the desserts are mediocre to say the least. Please change your cutlery. I know the owners are from Punjab, the land of Chicken Tikka Masala. I know they can do much better, only if they tried a lil hard.

I would rate them with no stars but thats not an option. I walked in here and asked if I could use the bathroom while we were at the lights parade, I had a 2 year old with me and I needed to change her (she was screaming and crying) They said very rudely "no, only customers can use our bathrooms." Are you kidding me?!? I will never be a customer at this restaurant, very RUDE!!!!!!

Reemas Indian cuisine used to be the only Indian cuisine in the area a year ago, and their prices were higher than the average. But now, since there is another new Indian restaurant in Carbondale that just opened a few months ago, and has a way better food with good prices , the prices of Reemas are going down, as the quality of food too!

Unbelievably slow service. Overcharged my bill, flavorless food - everything was terrible. Went there during eclipse event, and it was crowded - the restaurant may not have anticipated such crowds and readers may discount my review giving them the benefit of doubt, but I felt like it was a total waste of my money. Would not recommend.

I have had a terrible experience. The owner is extremely rude and treated me and my friend with so much disrespect I am still upset just thinking about it! We were willing to spend $300 for an event - NEVER EVER will I set food into this establishment ever again!

Food was pretty flavorless - not what you expect when you go to an Indian restaurant. My husband asked for his food to be made at their highest spice level, and I didnt even think it tasted spicy. I can make better Indian food myself at home.

Their food is good and I feel one of the most authentic cultural flavors you can find in the area but pricey for little presentation. The artwork on the windows does not justice for the simplicity on the table. Nothing really to "WOW" you.

Wonderful food, nice atmosphere. Ive had buffet and also takeout. Naan is terrific. Nice place, excellent food, accommodating staff and friendly owner. Im sure the barely literate whove written off the wall reviews wont be missed.

DELISH !!! I come here about once every two weeks!!!! My boyfriend is very picky about Indian food, but he absolutely loves this place! If you have an open mind to try different ethnic food, then this is the place to go!

The absolute BEST Indian food in So-Ill!!!! The lunch buffet is great, but you MUST try the dinner from the dinner menu, the absolute best around!!!! Just like you are going to a great Indian restaurant in the city!!!

Food is excellent, but management is grumpy and acts as though they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there. I have to be in the right mood to eat here - willing to have a tough skin for the sake of the food.
