Dined there today, about 6:30ish.. Always heard good things, but today definitely changed my mind. First we were seated by a young man that had to question us where he should seat us.. (which in my mind is his job to do....) then we had to ask the waitress for a drink menu... She gave us some garbled excuse and grabbed one. Decided on onion rings for an app, which came out pretty ok just greasy as could be. My boyfriend ordered the Jack Popper Burger... (which comes with an obviously frozen jalepeno popper on it- nothing else.) I ordered the Elvis Burger, which I was pretty excited for the combo of a good burger, peanut butter, and fried bananas. I ordered the burger medium-rare. Almost 20 min later it came out, I put my fried bananas on the burger and took a little bite, and the inside was raw. Completely pink. Not a little pink like you expect with medium-rare, but like I can still shape this burger raw.... Had to wait at least 10 min for the waitress to happen to walk by so I could send it back. Had to wait another 10-15 for the burger to come back out the way it should have been cooked the first time, but this time my burger only had peanut butter and bacon on it. No attempt to get some more fried bananas on the new burger like youd expect. So in reality the Elvis burger I ordered was really just a plain burger- no seasoning, over cooked bacon, and peanut butter. I got no apology from the waitress or a manager, no discount, no anything... besides a crappy dry attempt at cooking a burger all the way through. By the time my new, re-cooked, no banana having burger came, I was the only one at the table still eating. Along with the food mishap, our extremely young waitress was EXTREMELY inattentive... Rarely checking on us, my boyfriend had to ask for another beer. I sat in that restaurant for over 45 minutes watching all the other waitresses running back and forth taking care of their tables. With our waitress nowhere in sight 70% of the time. I had high hopes for this restaurant and was SERIOUSLY disappointed..... I doubt well go back. Seriously lack of management and properly trained waitresses. Give or take a few.

My husband and I just went here yesterday evening. The bar was crowded but the tables were fairly empty. The waitress was great and the appetizers were good. Now with that being said, on to the main courses. I ordered the Turkey Ranch Panini and my husband had the Beef Medallions. My sandwich would have been good if it were not for and the fat on the bacon. I understand that bacon is going to have fat, but there was very little meat there. My husbands meal came with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. The carrots were bruised and had white blush all over them, they clearly needed to be thrown away. The broccoli was also old and both veggies were only half done. And I dont know what they put in the mashed potatoes, but it wasnt my thing. Now on to the Beef medallions. You would think this would be hard to screw up..but youd be wrong. My husband asked for medium rare and got.....wait for it...completely well done. Now we are willing to over look a lot of accidents, but beef that isnt cooked correctly is a deal breaker. I would put this place on a list of upscale truck stop restaurants. If youre hungry this place will do the trick, but if you are looking for something more, Id suggest trying somewhere else. My husband would give this place 4 stars but seeing as Im the one writing this, my opinion is 3 stars. Hope this helped!

It was my first visit to B52 in Inver Grove Heights. I heard about their new rooftop that just opened this year and good reviews on their burgers. Went inside the restaurant and was told to take the stairs to get to the rooftop. We were seated by the bar and with the summer sun, it wasnt the most comfortable with the sun glaring into your eyes and scorching hot into your face. We noticed a few people moving seats so we asked to be moved somewhere else as well. I would suggest umbrellas but thats just my opinion. I ordered the Badlands burger at medium well and side of fries. As a first time customer, I didnt know that tomatoes, lettuce and onions were given upon request. The host could have been more helpful with that but she was a sweet gal so no biggie. The burgers were good, I enjoyed it. The drinks were also good. Just a heads up that they will need to hold an ID or credit card if you order a Moscow Mule due to people stealing the mugs. (Lol) that was the first for me, but I can understand. Theyre not cheap! Nice vibrant experience with live outdoor music. I would go again but will request to sit else where.

I have never written a review before but after my experience at this restaurant, I feel compelled to do so. First of all it was lunchtime on a Saturday and the place was empty yet the service was extremely slow. It took at least 45 minutes for us to get our food. The wait was definitely not worth it. My husband and I both ordered Juicy Lucys. My husbands hamburger had very little cheese inside. I started eating my burger and there was no cheese inside at all. I do understand that mistakes happen, so I call the waitress over and she did apologize and offer me a new burger. I just requested that it be taken off the bill. A few minutes later the manager came over and proceeded to explain to me how sometimes the cheese oozes out during the cooking process. As I said, I understand mistakes happen. But, she was extremely rude and condescending to me and my husband. She should have just apologized - instead she was being defensive for no reason. I will never return to this restaurant due to the rude treatment of this manager.

Firstly, the staff have put their reviews up to give the bar a better rating. I see two wait staff that have reviewed the place as "Excellent". Secondly: You get the same burgers from a Ruby Tuesday, AppleBeess etc. the quality was blah and the staff werent even friendly. Lastly & Most Important: 99% of the reviews are from White Americans. The bartender is indeed racist. Im an educated woman, ethnicity aside. There was no reason to treat paying, unsuspecting customers that way. When asked WHY was there even a problem? Whatd we do? Were we perhaps laughing too loudly ( I have an annoying laugh) he simply pretended he did not just look at me ask the question, rang out our three drinks, and went on his way. Im not a threatening person, Im not rude, I like to think of myself and carry myself as someone who sees themselves as....lovely. He flat out just didnt give us service for NO REASON at all. As a disclaimer: I wasnt laughing obnoxiously at first, and its not a loud laugh, just kinda...different. I work on it though lol.

Terrible service and average food and drinks. I went here with my wife and we decided to sit on the rooftop area. We were seated and then spent 15 mins trying to wave down the one and only waiter serving the entire roof area which was full and had well over 100 people. I got up to tell the seaters that I needed a waiter to order, this would be my 1st of 4 trips up to the hostess to get service. My first drink was whiskey over rocks so they couldnt screw that up. My second was a bloody Mary that arrived with no garnishing, I wouldnt have known it was supposed to have any except my 2nd bloody Mary did so obviously they were rushing drinks. The food finally arrived almost 40 mins after ordering it and was average. I searched high and low for a manager but couldnt find one. Usually at a credible establishment the manager makes his rounds asking how everything was. This place is probably on my top 10 of worst service experiences ever, so congrats!
