The food is terrific here. It is so good and always fresh. Of course, their floats are wonderful too! However, I would not recommend going here in the evenings. Frequently, the employees lock up the dining room 15-20 minutes before closing time. Since their hours are already short, this means that you cannot enjoy a float after a evening event. We have found that the restaurant is unreliable as to if they are open post 7pm and I would not recommend you make the drive at that point. This is an issue that we thought of complaining to the managers about, but there was no number listed on the receipt. Our own family would eat here much more frequently, but we often go elsewhere in the evening since we have been burned by them closing early more than once. One time, we were eating outside at the tables and the dining room had closed early. Since we have small children, this was more of an issue because we could not take them to the restroom. We also could not order ice cream after eating unless we hopped in our car and drove through the drive through to do so. If you are going over dinner, enjoy the food, it is delicious. If you are going for a late dinner or after a school event, you might as well just drive elsewhere.

Thought Id try it for the first time. Well, BIGGEST mistake! Ordered some Chilli cheese fries and the Chilli tasted sour, so I go to the counter and tell the lady in a really low voice that it tasted sour. She goes to the back and tells the cooks and they yell from behind there that they cant just give it out and theres nothing they could do about it cause the Chilli is canned, meanwhile all the rest of the workers are giving me the meanest looks. As if I did something wrong. So I tell the lady that, in no way did I just want something for free. So I ended up having to buy a regular cheese fries, and no apology. Really??? Great customer service! There was no reason for them to be so rude!

The first thing our group observed as we walked into the A&W was a male employee with a bandana around his head throwing food at another employee in the back work area. No adult in sight. The second thing I saw as I ordered was a stack of about 10 bagged French fries waiting for orders. I wondered how long they had been sitting as very few people were in the restaurant. Well, when I got my order the burger and fries had obviously been made much earlier and both were lukewarm and stale. Amazingly, they still tasted OK. The root beer was great. The bandana clad employee who delivered our food needs a lesson in customer service and how to deliver food to customers in a friendly way.

The food is better than normal fast food, and the root beer is as it should be- great. However, the lobby closes at 8. Twice now Ive come to get a frosty mug of root beer to find that the lobby is closed... drive-through only. The first time our group of 6 left and went elsewhere for our evening treat. Tonight my daughter and I were together and I had not eaten yet, so I purchased anyway. While eating my burger, I watched as a handful of cars parked, walked to to door, and tugged on it in bewilderment. About half of them took the trouble to drive through. The other half left without purchasing, and quite obviously frustrated. Youre losing sales to this policy, including mine.

The restaurants location is easily accessible, and is a fairly quick stop off the highway for a bite to eat. The location can not be spotted from the Hwy, but is marked on signs for the exit. The food was average. The burger was prepared well, as well as the onion rings, except the onion rings were tasteless and seemed like a generic grocery store brand. The chocolate shake was fantastic. Except why does every fast food restaurant now need to be fancy and garnish their shakes with whip cream and a cherry. Stop it, please or ask if they would like it that way or not.

Was there last week. Too many new employees that dont know what they are doing. They obviously arent trained well. I ordered a blizzard shake thing thats supposed to have oreos in it. It took the 15 min to make it. They werent even busy. The girl with my shake filled it with ice cream wiped the excess with her hand into the garbage. She looked around for a while, she obviously was very clueless. Finally they decided to put oreos on it. It wasnt mixed it was just the top.

They screw up the order every time - checking to see its there is not enough - cause when ya open the box its a miserable excuse for food. Poor service on the back side as well: "you didnt give me the fries I ordered", well Ill give you a "free" one next time. No they give you the fries you already paid for and they failed to supply, nothing free about it and Nada for the trouble. They are 2 for 2 with me, I wont go back for a 3rd time.

Took over 15 mins for the out order. My husbands chicken was over cooked and mine was cold. The person taking the order was so rude! And staff was playing on there phones, buy if you are friends with the staff you got your order asap. The server with the blonde pigtails is running all over the place you would think she was the only one here. Not coming back.

This place has gone way down hill since it opened. Incorrect orders, undercooked food, old fries, like warm sandwiches, long wait even for A&W. Last time I went I took a bite, spit it out and threw it out. The only thing they got going for them is the tap root beer.

Ordered a crispy chicken sandwich w cheese and no miracle whip. Got a grilled chicken sandwich w extra miracle whip and NO cheese. Not first time they messed up my order in IGH so I will not be returning! For the price they could at least get my order right!

A bit chilly inside. Food was good, although the fries were not as fresh as I expected for having arrived 15 minutes after they opened. Service was good and the place was clean. The frosty mug was a great treat!

Every time I go here they get my order wrong. I always think Ill give it another try and I immediately regret it. Today they gave me a hotdog instead of chicken tenders. Seriously, there two arent even close.

My family and I stopped here to eat and they didnt have any root beer. There was no apology or offer a refund. They even attempted to put diet root beer in the float we ordered. Terrible customer service!!

Great food and service!!! They MAKE the root beer there. That is huge!! Food is excellent. If you had a problem with the food, you should take it to the counter. They will take care of you.

For us it is comfort food. My husband worked at an A&W in Milwaukee about 50 years ago while he was in high school. I love root beer; it reminded me of my youth.

Sucked,cheeseburgers were small and cold, Think they would have been hot since it tookso long,they also screwed up our order,service really slow,they didnt care.
