Update 2017 Memorial Day: Down graded. Today was a miss. (4) staff members. One covering drive thru, one making drinks, one making sandwiches, and one swing between counter and food prep. No names were taken for the orders the entire 45 minutes I was in the store. Many people couldnt hear the quick and shortened menu items being called out. A lot of people standing around and needing clarity on which drink was theirs or which bag. Counter person was moving too fast to be effective. Action isnt progress, without focus. Waited 25 minutes for my order which was cold by the time I got my hot chicken and pesto. Threw away the warm potato salad. Training needed for a couple of the crew members. Update May 2017: still a good place for a bite to eat and drinks. I wished they had a place to lock up bicycles. Good coffee, good food. Ordered drip coffee so no issue with their preparation. Quick due to no one else being in the store. Person running the cash register was new. His 3rd day yet he was able to use the register and offered me a receipt.

The cashier charged me $10 extra. I always get the same breakfast. I went to check my bank account and they charged me $10 by mistake I suspect. I remember that morning they took so long I was waiting in line for 10 minutes and then I finally get there and I asked for an apple cider. I dont know why every time I ask for JUST an apple cider they have to ask me if I want the special one with whipped cream (The same happens when I ask for an iced mocha, I just want the iced mocha not the special one with extra stuff). If I say that I want an apple cider that means I want just the apple cider so I said no anyways they brought me the one with whipped cream then the lady was gonna make it again and I was already late for work. Then they told me they didnt have an apple cider and there was a problem with doing a refund because there was a new employee at the cash register and there was no manager that morning. So $10 lost and a manager that leaves new employees at the cash register.

Awful. I went once a few months ago to get a half dozen bagels. Obviously all ready to go behind the counter just need to be put in a bag. Took 15 minutes. I tried again, because I had a gift card and its on my way to work. This morning went through the drive through at about 8, was the only one there yay! Ordered a soy chai tea late. Picked it up promptly. I was given coffee. I went inside to tell them the mistake- again pretty empty, didnt have to wait in any line and were 3 other customers in the store. AGAIN I was given coffee, this time with 4 inches of foam on the top (what a rip off if I did want coffee!). I showed the staff and asked if I can please get a chai like I ordered. Finally on the 3rd time I got the chai. The staff made me feel like I was being picky and made sure I was happy with the amount of foam-- its not about the foam its that you keep giving me coffee. Wont go again, and have shared this with my co-workers to AVOID.

Edit: this location continues to disappoint. Out of everything, incorrect orders, rude staff. They have broken registers but dont post signs until you are trapped in drive thru. They dont offer any items sent to me in my perks emails. Its a joke. I was excited for this place to open, but I went when I was the only customer and it took an extreme amount of time to both order and get my food. We ordered from the menu without making adjustmentd and the staff person couldnt find our buttons on the computer for anything. He seemed very confused and needs more training. I ordered a green tea and he rang up some weird specialty drink. When the order came, my bagel was wrong. My partners cheese and his breakfast sandwich wasnt even melted. My sandwich looked like it was put together blindfolded, it was such a mess. I love Einstein Bros but wont be coming again.

I went to this restaurant this morning and about six errors were made by their staff (Im not joking). Unfortunately, lack of staffing and mistakes tend to be a pattern at this location and not one isolated instance of poor customer service. I get the feeling that everybody at this location is untrained. To top it off, when I had already paid I asked if I could have my rewards taken into account (I had forgotten to add my rewards in the past at a different location and it took 30 seconds to add-on). The manager said I would simply have to do it on-line. While not a huge deal, this just shows the laziness or lack of knowledge of the people at this location (even the manager). I have never had a bad experience at a Caribou before and I go to Caribou (different locations) quite often but this Caribou Coffee/Einstein Bagels is run very, very poorly.

UPDATE: Ive gone here a few more times since my first visit, and the quality food/drinks and the service have greatly improved. Im upgrading my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I was really excited for this Caribou to open, but Ive gone there twice now, and Im not impressed. Many of the staff have no idea what theyre doing, whether its simply ringing up my order or making it. They ran out of cold press coffee in the middle of the afternoon. When I went through the drive through, I was charged for my order AND for the order of the person in front of me. The only good things Ive experienced? The man taking my drive through order was extremely friendly, and the inside of the building is very nice and clean (as it should be since it just opened).

Ive been to this location four times now. First time, I got the correct item and everything was fine. Second time, my decaf coffee was missing the syrup I paid for (drive thru, didnt notice until Id left). Third time, my hot decaf Americano was room temp, like coffee that had been left sitting out for three hours (again, drive thru). Fourth and last time today, they were out of cream (how does a coffee shop run out of cream?), they were out of straws, and the counter where you add stuff to your coffee was filthy. And the server wasnt at all apologetic about the lack of cream. Wont be going to this location anymore, which is a bummer since I was excited for its opening.

This place is filled with extremely shady employees. They have tried to rip me off twice now!! First time was about a month ago where they miss quoted me, I just brushed it off and thought they made a miatake. But today the girl in the window short changed me and when I confronted her she told me I was wrong. I went inside to talk to the manager and they looked at the receipt only to find that she short changed me 9 dollars exactly. This was not a mistake. She was trying to steal from me. If you go there make you sure get a receipt and make sure they give you the proper change.
