I have never been to Smashburger before and I will probably never go to this one again. I actually was looking forward to trying the food because of all the great things I heard. But after I ordered at this restaurant my views changed. The girl that took our order was polite and very nice. She gave us out number and when we went to sit down there was very few tables that were clean and not cluttered with dirty dishes. I visited the restroom only to find there was no toilet paper. Then comes the wait, and I do mean wait. As we are waiting the guy with the "man bun" is yelling with his staff about someone being scheduled until 8pm and how they are short staffed (there were 4 people in the kitchen). Then I got to watch while he delivered someones elses food, clean some tables, go back into the kitchen and yell at the poor girl who just got swamped by people coming into the store to deliver food. All the while I got to also watch my food sit under the heat lamps while "man bun" berated his staff and did nothing. So when someone else finally delivered my food it was not appetizing and worse the smashfries were extra greasy and extra cold. I would like to thank "man bun" and his staff (except the girl at the counter who was awesome) for ruining my first experience with Smashburger.

Went there to try their veggie burger. Honestly, its not the best one Ive had. Its pretty obviously fresh made, which is a huge plus to me since I can reheat my own boca burger. However, it tastes like straight black beans and nothing else. If you order a burger with Mexican flavors, that works ok, if you order anything else it will seem strange. The "smash fries" were OK. Im not a big fan of the tiny french fry, which is what they use there. Theyre almost matchstick size fries. The flavor was good though, so if you like tiny french fries, youll probably love them. I did order a shake, which I intended to share with my wife. It was delicious, but she doesnt know that it was because I drank it all myself. When I went there, there had been a very large group of kids that had just ordered, so the place was slammed. The manager made it a point to apologize to everyone in the restaurant for the long wait times they were experiencing - even though there was no way they could have planned for that large of a group of people to show up. Overall, Id go back for a quick bite.

This was my first experience at Smashburger. Im on a business trip so I just wanted to grab something quick to eat. It was great that they had menus by the door so you didnt have to solely use the menu board. The tables were a little over half full, but there was no wait to get my order taken. The cashier that took my order was very nice and helped me choose between regular and sweet potato fries. The cashier was also the one running food to the tables. He was doing an excellent job of juggling the cash register, running food, cleaning tables, and wishing guests a good evening as they left. I was really impressed with him and thought he deserved a nice review. I didnt catch his name but he was working tonight (5/16/16) at the Eden Prairie location. Keep up the good work.

Its unlikely to be a destination for us for the following reasons: -The parking situation is awful. Theres not enough of it, and getting out of the lot is hazardous - at one point you turn a corner and encounter a one-way coming straight at you. -The ordering process is slow, and as a result the line moves slowly. Today we were there for lunch; the entire time we were there the line was 10 people long and only one person was taking orders. -The food is OK, not great. When I go out for burger, its for the burger, not the ambiance. Smashburgers arent as tasty as Five Guys; Id rate them comparable to Hardees thickburgers.

I like their variety of burgers and they do taste good, but the prices are a bit too much and their burgers are too greasy. I tend to find that the meat and guts of the burger slip out from the bun too easily, and the tray turns into a puddle of grease and cheese. Its a good location to visit once in a great while for something different, but since Five Guys isnt too far from this location, Ill go there if I really desire a good burger...thats less greasy.

Had a $5 gift voucher to use for a previously screwed up order... Used that today and despite the receipt, bag being written on and the (assuming) manager that verbally verified with the line cook the burger was still incorrect. 3 notations for no pickle or onion, and the burger that awaited me in the bag had a thick mound of onions and 4 pickles. Maybe third time will be a charm? Fries were good at least.

Food was good, new employee Ross was not so good. He gave my order to someone else despite the fact that I told him my order number. In addition, someone else had to apologize for him. Then, I had to ask him to take my tray when I was done. Seems racist, and in general, not too good at food service since his hair was down, he was chewing gum, and was unfriendly and dismissive of me. Anyways. Good fries

Great service from staff as you walk in. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong. The food is ok. Its better than fast food, but thats not saying much. People always say great things about Smashburger so I expected more. Price is a little outrageous for what you get. About $10 after tax for a burger, fries, and fountain water......

At first bite I was taken a back by the mass amount of barbeque sauce on my burger. To my displeasure, this was the only bit of flavor on the burger. Oh, aside from the greae, plenty of that. I would like to thank Smashburger, not only for ruining my Sunday, but for causing the obesity problem in our America.

Smashburger is a refreshing addition to the "fast food" landscape. The burgers are thick, juicy, and quality cuts. Theres a decent variety on the menu, and you have some ability to build your own creations. Its not an amazing dining experience, but its about as good as you can do for a burger under $6.

Appears to be hit and miss with this place. Was up visiting a friend and wanted a burger and fry. What I got was a thin as paper patty and had just as much flavor as paper as well, burger swimming in grease and ketchup. I guess Im just spoiled by the likes of Fiveguys and Culvers.

This place looks nice and the customer service is as well, but the food is awful! They put so much ketchup and mustard on my greasy assburger to hide its bland seasining. The veggie frites were gross as well, literally just eating grease coverd veggies.....Thanks Obama

Limited choices, but still some good ones and they encourage customization. If you are a vegetarian, or have one in your party as I did, it is nice that any of their burgers can be ordered with a vegetarian bean patty instead and I am told it is very good.

I didnt think you could really have a burger chain that could not stand out from the rest and still make it work but for some reason this place does because nothing really seems to stand out but yet this place still exists.
