I passed by this place everyday on my lunch for a week before I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Since then Ive been there 3 times, and every trip has left me more impressed. I was a unaware of the Fish & Chips special going on during my first stop, so I tried out the Mushroom Swiss burger, with fries and a Turtle sundae. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The fries here are perfectly cooked and just ever-so-satisfyingly greasy, without being unappetizing. My next choice was the Steak and Cheese special, and that too was exceptional. There was no special today when I called in, so I ordered the Double Cheeseburger. It was easily the best cheeseburger Ive had in my life. And for $4.75, you cant complain about the portion; its massive. Maybe once the summer really kicks into gear, Ill explore the frozen treats a little more. But you cant go wrong with the food here. This is the first review Ive written. About anything. ever. So Im not one to readily hand out undue credit, but this place is worthy of the hype. And if youre passing through Cannon Falls or along the 52, its worth the small detour to make a stop. Mike, the owner, is the kind of guy who will remember your name and make you feel like a regular whenever you come back.

Stopped in town to visit a good friend and decided to stop in at the Dairy Inn for lunch. I was very impressed at how friendly the workers were as I entered and thanked me again as I left. The decor is like in the 50s. Very nicely done, so very clean. The food I ordered was exceptionally well prepared as I had ordered and made a special request. I have to say, I thought the fries where the BEST in the STATE!! Seasoned to perfection! The chocolate malt for desert was amazing and so creamy.. Next time I will order a large one! The owner stopped by and made sure everything was made as ordered. Very nice guy! ..I challenge you, if you drive by the Dairy Inn, stop in let the Dairy Inn make you a delicious meal at a very good price.

This is one for Guy to check out. The food is incredible and the cold treats are top notch. They really take pride in keeping tables and dinning area clean. I hope they keep it just the way it is from the 1950s. They have the best burger in town. A must visit if you are in Cannon Falls for the bike trail ride or canoing the river like our family does several times a summer.

They have great tasting soft-serve ice cream in a quaint old fashioned 50s style malt shop building with lots of shady outdoor places to sit to boot. They also serve burgers and fries and sort of food (which I havent tried, thus only 4 stars). Highly recommend this nostalgic and fun place!

Small little ice cream shop off of the highway. Variety of soft serve flavors, malts, and shakes. Had standard food as well (burgers, etc.). Had a simple cone but seems like a good spot for when you want to take a break from the highway drive and have a snack or some ice cream.

So delicious! ! The ice cream is perfect! Sweet, and creamy, with a little "bite" in the sense they you can sink your teeth into it. My favorite treat is the "ice cream paddle." We go 30 minutes out of our way, or make a special trip just to get this ice cream.
