Arron was our server & he was polite, candid, helpful and all around a good kid. We had an issue with our appetizer ( 3 strips of zucchini and 3 pcs of mozzarella for 12.50) seriously depressing looking as all hell. We left the platter as is and asked him if this was correct. He told us sadly it was and he would be as confused as we were. He had the manager come and talk with us, who was apologetic and agreed that the qty of items for the appetizer sampler should be noted in the menu. He let us know he would take $10 off the check and gave our table of 4 each a free dessert moose cup of our choosing. All of the staff were professional and down to earth. The food was good, but just the fact our server Arron did not make us use the table kiosk but let us order the old fashioned way... Over the moon with the level of service tonight with the staff.

Much of the time when we go out to eat at any type of restaurant we will get mediocre service. My family and I will come to the Olive Garden on occasion. We came here expecting decent service and to have a great meal. Our waitress Jolene paid attention to what time of time schedule were on and to making sure we were enjoying ourselves. My little girl must of heard me commenting to my wife about Jolene because when she came back to help us she proclaimed, "youre the best waitress weve ever had!" From the time we sat down to look at the menu to when we paid the bill and were ready to leave she was natural with holding a conversation, doing her job, and made sure my family and I were more than satisfied with our experience there. Anytime we come back well be sure to ask for this waitress.

so heres my experience... we had a table of 16. i waited 20 minutes for my drink order. then i waited 30 minutes with my hand blocking the isle waiting for a refill. i was ignored. everyone at our table ran out of drinks... we had the bill split 4 ways... so we waited 35 minutes for that. there where staff standing around doing nothing while we where all waiting for drinks... at one point... we literally all had empty glasses accept for 1 of us... i got a new waiter... he was awesome. "thats what he told us to call him" (awesome) and we dident tip our waitress... we tipped him... our waitress was useless and go no tip due to us getting 0 service from her. i think a few times we asked our waitress for refils and she said she will get to us in a minute... wtf...

Food is pretty good. Everyone loves it when we go. Im the only hold out. I find the food to be greasy but like I said everyone else I go with loves it. My food always has spoonfuls of oil on the bottom of the plate. I go mainly for family functions and its my fathers favorite restaurant. I like the soup and salad so I try to go for those instead of the pasta, especially the white and butter sauce, which has butter on top of the oil. I gave it a 4 because I seem to be the only one who notices the grease.....Price is about the same as other good restaurants here in Woodbury so you wont break the bank if your used to eating out.....

Well, my first impression in Olive Garden wasnt that well. The hostess seemed as if she was very confused, but OMG our waiter Karen and the Manager Mike are seriously made for this business. Karen was over the top friendly and talkative. Offering drinks, communicating with my whole party very well. There was a piece of something in a friends food, not sure what it was, we notified Karen and Mike the manger offered us free desert. Plus everything else (food, drinks, service) was delicious. GO THERE! ITS GREAT!

The food is good, but the service is so incredibly iffy. We tried to reserve a table for 8 on a busy weeknight, they only do "call when you are on the way" and we will put on a wait list. Its a ridiculous concept. They do a lot of tandem-serving. So one person takes your order, another person brings it, another clears away. How do you possibly tip on good service? Olive Garden needs to go back to what used to work instead of trying to be all to everyone.

This place is absolutely wonderful and fantastically friendly! This restaurant is and will always be a must for thy friends and family! Its quite a delightful and splendid choice for any occasion... The staff there are 2nd to none in my opinion!! Last but not least and very much like myself, the staff are incredibly easy on the eyes and an all together, truly magnificent bunch!! Well done... I recently ordered to go for lunch and was overcharged. When I called them and told them, the manager Mike was so helpful and gave me a free lunch the following day. On top of that, he threw in a dessert for me. Noone likes being overcharged but they handled it so professionally that I will definitely be back and tell people I know how wonderfully they treat you. Thanks Olive Garden!

I have always found the food to be very good at the Olive Garden, however the service is never reliably good. Most recently our party of 8 was crammed into a booth when most of the dining room was empty and our waiter was hardly ever present to fill our glasses or bring bread sticks. The bus boy, however, was fantastic! Very helpful when our waiter was not and great personality!

Im not sure they deserve any stars. as a waitress was rude and not very courteous she thought nothing of embarrassing the patrons in the restaurant. I didnt feel the management was helpful either. and although Ive gone there for many years, we will not return again. I will go to outback, red lobster, mcdonalds give better service and take better care of their patrons.

Had a blast. The soups and breadsticks kept coming, and much fun was had with our waitstaff. Unfortunately, a member of our party did not receive their steak in a timely manner, however they were more than willing to comp the steak, earning high marks in my book. A great establishment with friendly staff and acceptable food.

Best lunch here ever-because of the waitress!!! I asked about the eggplant parmesan-which you normally need to get the dinner portion. She suggested, and I got, the eggplant parm sandwich, no bread, and spaghetti instead of fries. Of course it came with unlimited breadsticks, soup or salad. BEST LINCH HERE EVER!!!!!!!

Olive Garden has really been upgraded since we last came here. Great menu, decent wines and good service. Used to be sort of an Italian style Dennys. Not anymore! We ate at two locations in the Woodbury, MN area, including this one in Oakdale. We had a good experience both times with food, prices and service.

Amazing service. Our waiter Luke was amazing. He checked on us frequently and always updated us if food was running behind which only happened for the salad. Recommeneded food for us when we asked what he liked. He even asked the staff when we asked if the to go boxes were microwaveable! Definetly going back.

No wait at all on a Sat night near 6 PM. That is until after I was seated. They sat me at a booth that did it have an assigned waiter. It can happen, but it was quite awhile before anyone came over. The manager finally noticed my folded up menu and wine glasses. The food was good and came quickly.
