Today was my first time to visit this establishment. I arrived a little after noon and was greeted by a friendly gentleman with a big smile. It wasnt very busy at that time so I was a little concerned that it wasnt going to be a good eating place. I found out that the fellow that greeted me was the owner and we chatted a while as I waited for my dining partner to arrive. He informed me that he just opened under his management 3 months ago. Interesting. It was obvious that they are out to please. The place was very clean, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was great! Really! Food was presented well and offered a good selection. Where did they get ripe fruit in January in Minnesota anyway? Good sushi, too. We were both senior citizens but we didnt even ask for their discount since we both felt the experience was worth the price charged. Ill certainly be going back. Next time, Ill bring my family. If you give them a try, I dont think you will be disappointed.

Ive been to this place at least 5 times, and have seen it changes hands/owners. This time, decided to stop by since it changed name because we always had a decent experience....until last night. I am not going to into much details, but we left before even sitting down. I used to work as a waiter, so I somewhat understand how restaurant business is conducted. Last night certainly gave me a bad taste about this restaurant, and certainly will not come back. If you ask for my opinion, I would suggest to think twice. Good luck !

Everything was good except they brought out the crab legs infrequently, and when they did, it was only enough for a couple of people. In one of their advertisements, they have a big picture of their crab legs, so it was disappointing, especially for the price you pay. You can go to Mongolian Barbeque in Stillwater for the same price, where they have the hibachi grill plus everything that Super 99 has plus more, where they bring out crab legs frequently.

I was overall satisfied with the meal. Fresh sashimi was set out during my visit, so I was happy about that. The steamed sole was tender and amazing. Only complaint--steamed dumplings were crunchy on the edges, and the shrimp and crab cooked to death, unfortunately, haha. Crayfish was good, though! I will definitely come again, if even for the steamed sole, oodles of fried food, and self-serve ice cream. :)

My family really enjoyed this place when it first became Super 99 however, since then they have discontinued all you can eat crab legs (stopped serving crab legs all together) and often the food is not kept hot or certain items are dried out. We will be looking for another buffet to enjoy dinner as a family. Very disappointed.

Just OK the food is not half as good as it use to be. We had our 2 and 3 year old with and our 13yo. As we were leaving felt disrespected because of the little ones. Just got a simple bye from the host. The waitress was great joking with the kids and stuff. So thats a plus. But food was not that good..

Ive been to many different buffets and Super 99 is by far the best one Ive been to in quite awhile. Although the sushi isnt authentic as in true Oriental sushi, its about the closest youre likely to find in the Midwest. Also, the food is always fresh. Which, let me tell you, is NOT a guarantee at a buffet.

The fillet-a-fish was pink. The chicken was yellow. The white noodles was tasteless. The rice was tasteless. We literally spent 30 mins there. The food just wasnt good. The spring roll was soggy and tasteless. Hopefully dinner is better but lunch was pretty awful. This was my first time there

Horrible food!!! I highly do not recommend coming here! Their food is so bad. Service also sucks! Servants dont ask how the food is or check on us. Do not come here. Cold and uncooked BBQ ribs. Im guessing that they microwave a lot of food here too. McDonalds is better than this dump.

I was excited to try Super 99 Buffet, since I had never eaten there before. First of all the "hostess" was not friendly or welcoming at all. The food was not good, marginal to say the least. I was there during a weekday night. The price was outlandish for a weeknight!

This is my go to Chinese buffet, I have had better, but havent found one that beats it in this area. Definitely more worth going to during typically busier dinner times since just like most buffets, the food is getting rotated more quickly and therefore fresher.

Nasty food. Sushi was cold and rice was uncooked. They made a mistake on the bill and had the guts to say they need too add another $2 person and said its only $2 its nothing. They said they had crab legs but there was none. Craw fish was over cooked.

One of the better Chinese buffets out there. Pretty average food but much better since they have all you can eat sushi. They have 30+ dishes to choose from which is far and above some buffets with 10 offerings.

The best Chinese buffet Ive had in quite sometime. The hot & sour soup, pepper steak, general tso chicken, and pepper chicken were all top notch. Clean, great service, and overall modern atmosphere. Well done

If you like a variety of different Asian food this is the place to go, plus all the ones you normally see. Not to large selection in Sushi,. And rarely any Sashimi for lunch during the week.

An average chinese buffet. When they havent risen to average the food can be cold and/or dried out. Nothing stands out with the same buffet food that you would find on most chinese buffets.

It was good. To get five Stars, a place like this needs something special, like a make your own stir-fry or fresh snow crab legs or desserts to die for. It didnt have any of the three.

Just another "Chinese" buffet. Selection is huge, but not so much of the food quality. Many items were just loop warm. Some staff are grumpy until they see youve left a good tip.

Gross. Gross. Gross. Thought we would give it a try because the reviews seemed decent. I actually left hungry because I was to grossed out to eat any more. Please dont waste your $$

Good selection and good service. Chinese food was average at best and seafood was a maybe a little above average. Overall, when factoring in price, I would say an average buffet.

The food is not high quality and the value is okay. The restaurant did, however, seem clean. A decent destination for a quick bite, unless it is busy. Friendly service.

Food is cold, not alsways freshly made. Been eating at this location thought verious ownership changes. Not much of improvement with current owner besides cost increase.

One of our typical spots if we have to go to Woodbury. Their sushi is fresh and generally the hot food is as well. Only issue I have is the salt level being too high

Decide to give it a try And it was a disappointment. Over cook crawfish, food is old and dried. Sushi is super cold. Everything suck! Dont waste your money!

The owners are super friendly, and the food is varied and delicious! Always lots of yummy seafood options, and Sundays are dinner menu items all day.
